It had been a week since the event in Golden Imperial.

Two occurrences in the Capital resulted in a shift in the hierarchy of the country's leading companies.

Apexpoint Holdings Incorporated and the Cheng Group have fallen to the bottom of the food hierarchy.

Apexpoint Holdings Incorporated, whose whole business is based on its restaurant chains, suffered a severe blow, and its stock price has dropped.

The news of their General Manager and personnel accepting a bribe to remove evidence of an attempted murder harmed the company severely.

Golden Imperial's high-end restaurant image vanished in an instant.

This matter resulted in a massive backlash for them.

Another piece of news that shocked people was the collapse of the Cheng Group, a prominent company in the Capital that was about to expand abroad. They were just one step away from negotiating a joint venture with Spiritechnologies, but today they are a powerless company that can scarcely return to their previous state. 

Rumors about a Cheng family member trying to murder someone in connection with the Golden Imperial issue continue to circulate in the Capital. 

Jiang Yue's Weibo popular topic about Triple X and Triple Z has now been replaced by the issue of the decline of these two major companies. 

People began to speculate about what happened and who the Cheng family member attempted to kill for them to fall so horribly. Not to mention Apexpoint Holdings Incorporated, which is twice the size of the Cheng Group, suffered losses as a result of this incident, demonstrating that the person behind it all is quite powerful.

Luo Zhelan who was responsible for all of these because of a certain someone, raised his brow when he saw that Jiang Xiu's room was filled with people.

"Young Master Luo!" Jiang Xiu beamed at the man when he entered.

Her friends, Gao Tian, Wan Zhu, Wen Liling, and Kang Jinhai froze in their spots when their gazes landed on the man.

The man in front of them is impressively tall and well-built, with a dominating presence that attracts attention wherever he goes.

His eyes are penetrating and deep-set, and he has a stern glance that conveys danger, indicating that he is not to be trifled with. 

The four of them were reminded of Jiang Yue when they saw him. 

The girl has the same intimidating yet aloof demeanor as him, keeping others at a distance while drawing them in with the sense of intrigue that envelops them.

Luo Zhelan nodded toward Gao Tian.

The lad immediately stood up and greeted, "Young Master Luo."

"How are you?" Luo Zhelan asked the girl and placed the boxes of sweets on the side of her table.

"I'm recovering well," Jiang Xiu responded, thanking him for the goodies he brought, before asking, "Are you here for sister?"

Luo Zhelan nodded.

"She just left, I believe she has a matter to settle. Sister cooked some porridge, do you want some?" She asked, motioning to the container on the table.

His brows furrowed.

Does she know how to cook?

Without hesitation, Luo Zhelan nodded and took a bowl for himself. 

How can he give up the chance to taste Jiang Yue's cuisine? 

He sat on one of the single couches, ignoring the strange looks the other four people directed at him. 

They must be Jiang Xiu's friends. 

When Gao Tian saw the Young Master Luo, whom everyone regarded as someone highly imposing, sitting comfortably on a sofa eating a porridge their friend had made, he felt as if something was wrong with his brain. 

The main question is, why is someone like Luo Zhelan in Jiang Xiu's room? 

And they appear to be more than just acquaintances. 

With the man in the room, they could only keep their mouths close and let their minds churn with questions.

Jiang Yue entered the room at this point. 

When she noticed Luo Zhelan enjoying the porridge she had made for him, she couldn't help but ask, "Have you not eaten?"

"I did."

"Then how come you're eating the patient's portion?"

Gao Tian choked on his saliva as a result of his shock at Jiang Yue's statement.

He doesn't even dare look straight into the man's eyes.

"Am I not allowed?" Luo Zhelan put down his bowl and retorted back.

"That is made accordingly to Xiao Xiu to replenish her blood."

"I need to replenish my blood as well," Luo Zhelan declared with a straight face which made Jiang Yue laugh a little, "If you had told me you wanted some porridge, I could have made one for you."

Luo Zhelan suddenly said, "Let's go."

"Where?"

"Cook me my porridge."

Jiang Yue rejected, saying, "I have to go somewhere."

She still has to go to Prime Media Entertainment to talk about her contract with President Zuo.

"Then I'll take you there."

The two of them went out leaving the others with their minds still messed up from what they witnessed.

"Who was he?" Wen Liling couldn't help but remark, "Damn, he looks like a celebrity." 

Gao Tian, the most familiar with the man among them all, responded, "That was the young master of the Luo Family, Luo Zhelan, the head of Luo Corporation." 

His statements simply made them more perplexed. 

"Was that him?" Kang Jinhai couldn't believe it because the man seemed so young. 

When Jiang Xiu noticed their expression, she said, "He might look intimidating, but I promise you he's nice."

"He doesn't look nice to me," Wen Liling disagreed.

Wan Zhu questioned, "Then what's his relationship with our Big Brother Yue?" which stumped Jiang Xiu.

She had no idea either. 

When Luo Zhelan and Jiang Yue were ready to walk to the parking lot, they were met by a large crowd of people who were following a stretcher toward the emergency room.

"Where are you going?"2

"Prime Media Entertainment." Luo Zhelan raised his brow with her answer.

He wanted to ask her about her business with Prime Media Entertainment, but he brushed it aside. 

The girl might not respond, and it's best if he doesn't go too deeply into her matters because she might find it annoying.

When they arrived, there was a big commotion at the entrance.

The people buzzed as they gazed up at the top of the building.

Jiang Yue looked up as well and could see a person standing on the edge of the building and shouting something.

It looks like someone was about to jump off the building.

Her indifferent eyes simply looked away.

When they entered the building, the said assistant who would usher them inside was already waiting.

However, when they passed some staff members who were discussing what had happened, her ears perked up when she heard a familiar name.

"I couldn't believe Mao Shi dared to threaten the President with jumping off the building if they didn't look into the matter."

"Please, it was she who pushed Yan Chun Hua. She can only blame herself for whatever happened to her career after this."

"Hnng," The other woman scoffed, "You can't call it a career if you only appeared in a few movies as extras for a few seconds."

"Mao Shi had it coming. Who could be as vicious as her? Pushing her relative off the stairs is too much."

Jiang Yue came to a halt.

Wasn't that the older sister who had before visited her Brother Wei's house?
