National Palace Stadium is one of the world's largest structures, with a capacity of 50,000 people, and with the 'Rule in Rivalry Tournament: The Ultimate Battle' event, it is almost packed.

This event is only held every two years, and each country has its own participants aiming for the top spot on the medal table, making it the most anticipated e-sports tournament for every player.

There were ten competing countries, each with two team representatives, as it was already day two of the event, the teams will compete for the semi-finals and then the grand finals.

The event had already begun, and Jiang Yue's group had taken their assigned seats. 

Their country is represented by two teams, Burning Bow and Cyclones.

However, only Burning Bow advanced to the Finals, and it is now competing on stage against another country's representative. 

"Holy shit, I'm nervous," Wan Zhu cursed under his breath, his gaze locked on the enormous screens, not even blinking. 

"I don't understand a thing, but gosh, my heart is palpitating from excitement," Wen Liling said, which just made Jiang Xiu laugh.

Kang Jinhai and Gao Tian, on the other hand, were also immersed watching the gameplay on the screen because it was already the second game and if Burning Bow didn't win this round, they would only be eligible to fight for the bronze medal and would not advance to the grand finals. 

"Will Burning Bow capture the Hound Beast and turn the game around, or will Grand Assault easily win this round?" The shoutcasters remarked in order to heighten the tension between the two teams who were already positioned around the Hound Beast. 

Jiang Xiu couldn't help but ask, "Why is Burning Bow's ace waiting for the plant to respawn?"

Jiang Yue was just about to answer when another person beat her to it, "That plant would give any player who killed it a higher chance of killing the Hound Beast."

"Ah, so that's why."

She turned to look at the man sitting beside her who had just answered her sister's questions, "Do you also play this game?"

Luo Zhelan then answered truthfully, "No."

Jiang Yue raised her brow and inquired, "How do you know?"

"I did my research," he continued, "a certain someone unexpectedly invited me to watch an e-sports tournament and I don't want to appear ignorant."

Jiang Yue laughed lightly since she didn't expect him to.

This man really took the time to study a game just because he was invited to watch it?

Seeing the girl laugh, Luo Zhelan then striked, "Did I impress you Miss Jiang?" he teased and Jiang Yue could only roll her eyes.

"Why don't you carry me in the game as well?" He added.

"Are you seriously playing it?"

"I just started."

Jiang Yue looked at him and attempted to read his expression to see if he was lying. When he didn't appear to be lying, she continued, "Is there nothing better for you to do at your company or the Research Organization?"

Luo Zhelan couldn't help but fix the girl's black cap on her to keep her gaze from falling only on him, as he felt that her eyes were too mesmerizing, "What makes you say so?"

Jiang Yue helped him fix her cap as she answered, "You're playing games and you're here watching some tournament, I didn't even expect you'd accept my invite."

Luo Zhelan raised his brow at her, "Haven't I told you I can set aside other things for the more important ones?"

This time it was Jiang Yue who avoided his gaze.

She couldn't help but do so as she was overwhelmed by how he looked at her.

"Burning Bow stole the Hound Beast from Country K's ace at the last second! Will they be able to win this round and turn the game around?" Her gaze returned to the screen as the people around her shrieked at what just happened. 

"Damn, that was flawlessly executed! I thought they were going to lose," Kang Jinhai said, and Gao Tian responded, "I didn't expect that either." 

"I can't believe I'm going to say this, but Cheng Jiayi played well," Wen Liling said.

Cheng Jiayi was able to remain as Burning Bow's member and they can see that she has good skills comparable to her teammates.

It was only when she played against Jiang Yue that she looked so pathetic.

"Sister, why didn't you consider to join any e-sports team?" Jiang Xiu wondered and the other three turned their heads at them, curious about it as well, knowing that she would have a smooth sailing career if she chose to be an e-sports player.

Kang Jinhai on the other hand was still busy looking at the screen as he keeps on shouting.

Jiang Yue seeing that their attention was suddenly on her, arched her brow, "I did."

"Ah, you did? Then what happened?"

"Yeah, what team did you join? And how old were you?"

Jiang Yue tried to remember it then responded dryly, "When I was twelve, it was the Black Knights who invited me."

"Whoa, the Black Knights of Country Y? They had already won the gold medal in three consecutive tournaments because of K Knight!" Wan Zhu exclaimed, and Wen Liling, knowing what he meant, exclaimed as well, "That was the team that played before this, right? It was K Knight who got a triple kill, right?" 

"That one, yes."

"You were a former team member of Black Knights? Then why the hell did you leave?"

"Who left?" Kang Jinhai suddenly asked when he noticed that the five of them were conversing.

When Gao Tian explained to him, he was in disbelief, "Brother Yue why didn't I know about this?!"

Jiang Yue simply glinted her eyes at him and answered their question, "It was only for less than three months."

It was when she was already under the care of her Master, Sun Guang, and still learning about hacking, she would occasionally play, and then the Black Knights contacted her on the game about it.
