"I'm still shocked by what happened, and you're all acting as if it's nothing?" Wan Zhu cried out as the waiter exited the restaurant after taking their orders.

"Then how should we act?" Kang Jinhai responded, "You might as well get used to it when you're with Brother Yue."

At this point, he believes Jiang Yue is capable of anything.

"Yes, but my brain still can't comprehend that K Knight would act like that. He was my idol—" Wan Zhu said out, then recalling Jiang Yue, he turned towards her and smiled fawningly, "—aside from Big Brother Yue, of course."

Jiang Yue only gave him a sidelong glance, not taking his words seriously.

"Your brain is slow in the first place, so that's normal," Wen Liling stated, "But I thought he's such an ideal man at first. Does he always pester you like Brother Yue?" She questioned the girl.

Wan Zhu felt he was personally attacked, and Kang Jinhai, hearing her words, asked, "Why would he be an ideal man? Are your standards so low Wen Liling?"

Her face darkened as she retorted, "No! Besides, he's handsome and already has a career at a young age. If that isn't one, what is— Do you think you're an ideal man Kang Jinhai? You're not even a man yet!"

Kang Jinhai gazed at the girl, speechless at what she had just said, while Wen Liling glared back at him, "What? Doesn't have anything to say now?"

"Damn, Wen Liling, when did you become so vicious with your words?" Wan Zhu said, patting the girl's shoulder, "You might wanna go easy on him, that guy never had his ego bruised that hard."

Wen Liling simply rolled her eyes and voiced the question that had been on her mind for a while, "Is that why you left Brother Yue? Because he keeps pestering you?"

"He's too annoying," Jiang Yue shrugged as she responded to some important messages on her phone. "If I hadn't left and accepted every match from him, that guy would be poor by now."

Gao Tian's lips twitched when he heard that, but he knew Jiang Yue wasn't lying.

Although his family is wealthy, he isn't that stupid to bet a limited car on a game.

His father would most likely kill him if he did.

K Knight is simply on another level to be able to do so. Not to add that they'd undoubtedly played a few matches, and he could easily picture what else the person was willing to offer as a wager.

"What's K Knight's name again?" he inquired, as he forgot about it.

"The Fangs are one of the wealthiest in the Capital together with the Yan and Lu—" Gao Tian didn't finish his words when he remembered that a member of the Luo Family was actually with them, he cleared his throat, "—along with the Yan Family."

"But I thought Black Knights is Country Y's representative?" Jiang Xiu was confused. 

Gao Tian's brows furrowed but he still answered, "Probably because K Knight's branch family lives in Country Y. What I do know is that the Fangs here in the capital has connections in the Country Y, so it was probably his family."

"I never expected I would meet someone from one of the wealthiest families and a Black Knight member at that. I should just stick with Brother Yue, and I might be able to meet the Country's President someday," laughed Wen Liling and moved closer to Jiang Yue, however, with Luo Zhelan on her left side and Jiang Xiu on the other side, she was still quite far from the girl.

Luo Zhelan's fingers tapped on the glass as he listened to their conversation.

Is this what high schoolers talked about?

His eyebrows were furrowed as he never recalled being so immature.

He couldn't resist but question the girl next to him, "So K Knight bet something and you play with him?"

Jiang Yue raised her head and looked at him, "Yes."

"Then you're going to play with me and I'll bet something," he suggested to which the girl merely raised her brow. 

"Or perhaps I should pay for your time, as there appears to be a long line of people vying for your attention."

He remembered how her identity as Triple Z became viral on Weibo, with many people expressing their desire to play with her. And now, a well-known e-sports player is among them.

Not to mention that this girl still has identities up her sleeve that may pique the interest of anyone.

How could he let himself lose to others?

So, of course, he has to step up his game.

The corner of Jiang Yue's lips perked up, "Depends on your offer. After all, it's not easy to play games."

Luo Zhelan couldn't help but chuckle.

This girl just said that it's not easy to play games after she got bored playing with an e-sports player.

A notification appeared on Jiang Yue's phone not long after.

When she saw what it was, she was speechless.

Luo Zhelan sent a hundred million yuan just to play some games with her?

"Is that not enough?" He arched his brow when she didn't respond, and not long after, another notification appeared on her phone stating that another hundred million had been transferred to her account.

Jiang Yue seeing his expression couldn't help but massage her forehead.

"I'll carry you later, until what rank do you want?" she said, handing back the phone.

"What rank are you?"

"Then Immortal it is," He checked through her account, "this is a good bargain."

Jiang Yue merely pressed her lips.

She doubt it was.

It wasn't long before their meals arrived.

They returned to the stadium after eating their lunch.

They did, however, run into another bunch of familiar faces.

"Brother Zhe!" cried Qin Zirui as he and Gao Jing approached them.

Seeing them, he couldn't help but comment, "You look like the older brother who's bringing out his sibling to watch a tournament," to which Luo Zhelan responded with a sneer.

Gao Jing commended his good friend's courage in saying so.

When Gao Tian saw the two, he could only scratch his head and greet them, "Uncle, Young Master Qin."

He never expected to see his Uncle in an e-sports tournament, but on second thought, it's not that unexpected now that even the Young Master of the Luo Family is doing so.

"What took you so long?" Luo Zhelan inquired of the two, to which Gao Jing replied, "I had to drag Qin Zirui with me."2

"Ay, I never expected to see you watching an e-sports tournament. You once said that playing these kinds of games is a waste of time, and people who play it don't have anything to do with their lives, so I stopped playing," Qin Zirui added which caught Jiang Yue's attention.

She turned towards Luo Zhelan and looked at him as if saying, 'Really?'

Luo Zhelan became apprehensive and could only say, "That was before, my perception of it has now changed."

Gao Jing, a good friend, saw what was happening between the three, grabbed the man, and took him inside to prevent Qin Zirui from saying anything else.

"Let's go, the game could start any minute."
