Jiang Yue only gave Yan Chun Hua a sidelong glance before turning around. Her expressionless face remained as if the woman in front of her had not insulted her.

She was already in the most luxurious shopping center in the country yet she was still recognized—by someone who was sick in the head, which was much worse.

She couldn't care less what Yan Chun Hua said since she knew what she was capable of with or without Luo Zhelan.

She would have responded only if the remarks were made by someone who had been or is a part of her life. Someone like Yan Chun Hua, on the other hand, is not worth her time.

Jiang Yue had hardly taken a few steps when her arm was grabbed.

Yan Chun Hua's hand hadn't even touched her skin for a few seconds when Jiang Yue suddenly turned around and grabbed the woman's arm as well and twisted it.

"Ah!"

"Yan Chun Hua, are you so tired of your life that you're seeking death?" Jiang Yue gritted her teeth as she took her hand off the woman's arm.

Does she appear to be fun to mess with and that others keep coming after her?

"Are you out of your mind?!"

Yan Chun Hua screamed, attracting the attention of some of the on-call sales clerks.

"Pardon me, but is there a problem here?" A sale clerk inquired, to which Yan Chun Hua said, "It's fine, it was simply a misunderstanding."

Jiang Yue lifted her brow, not anticipating those remarks from her because she expected the woman to use the situation to smear her name with dirt, but she didn't.

It was at this point that the sales employee who had gone to collect Jiang Yue's dress size returned.

"I'll get everything," she said as the two of them approached the cashier's desk, followed by Yan Chun Hua, who appears to pay for her items as well.

"Pack these in different bags," Jiang Yue advised, so she could simply pass the bag containing the clothes to the intended person.

"How's Mao Shi doing?" She heard the woman beside her ask to which she replied dryly, "None of your business."

"She's my cousin, she's my business." Yan Chun Hua responded.

Jiang Yue turned towards her and scoffed, "Yan Chun Hua, don't forget your identity. If it weren't for Mao Shi, you wouldn't be where you are now."

Yan Chun Hua's face clouded as she didn't anticipate Jiang Yue to know about her and Mao Shi's incident of being swapped when they were a child, it was undoubtedly Mao Shi who told her.

"What did she promise you for helping her, Jiang Yue? Did she promise you that she'll repay you once she's announced as the true heir of the Yan Family?" Yan Chun Hua snarled, "If she still wants to survive in the entertainment industry, she should stay at the bottom where she belongs."

Jiang Yue simply looked at her and said monotonously, "I expected you to be stupid, but not this stupid. What made you believe Mao Shi was going after the Yan Family? If it hadn't been for you threatening her with her grandma, she would have left a long time ago."

Yan Chun Hua was just about to reply when Jiang Yue suddenly pulled out something from her wallet that caught her attention.

She couldn't help but giggle lightly as she saw the black card, "What? Don't tell me you're flexing something you don't own. I can't deny that you were smart to pursue Young Master Luo rather than Zheng Qingsheng."

"I'm afraid I can't say the same thing to you."

Yan Chun Hua assumed that the black card in Jiang Yue's hand belonged to Luo Zhelan, because even if Jiang Yue had earned millions as a composer, it wasn't enough for her to be eligible for the black card, especially since it was issued by Felicity Bank Inc, which is designed to serve wealthy clients.

However, witnessing the card's capitalized and bold 'JIANG YUE' rendered her dumbfounded.

Despite this, she still believed that the black card was given by Luo Zhelan as there was no way Jiang Yue would be eligible for it.

She just didn't anticipate Luo Zhelan to go out of his way to give her one because applying for one is a lengthy and time-consuming process.

Jiang Yue handed the card to the sales clerk, but she shook her head and returned it. "Mister Luo had already given his card for this purchase," she explained, holding another black card in her palm and swiping it on the machine.

Jiang Yue hadn't expected that, but it didn't surprise her because she already knew what kind of person Luo Zhelan is.

When Yan Chun Hua heard those words, she couldn't help but bite the inside of her cheek as she realized Jiang Yue's black card hadn't been provided to her by Luo Zhelan.

If it had been given by Luo Zhelan, as she suspected, he would not have offered his own black card, but he did.

Yan Chun Hua narrowed her eyes at Jiang Yue who stood beside her, her facial expression not even changing when she heard what the sales clerk stated.

It's either that card was either given by another man or Jiang Yue was qualified for a card she doesn't even have.

And she would prefer to believe it was given by another person than think that Jiang Yue is more deserving of it than she is as the Yan Family heir.

Jiang Yue turned to walk towards the store's waiting area, holding the three bags in one hand and Luo Zhelan's black card in the other.

Yan Chun Hua could only grit her teeth as she watched the girl walk away.

When Zuo Dong had told her that Kai would file a lawsuit against Prime Media Entertainment, she didn't give a damn and didn't consider Kai a threat to her, but that was the biggest mistake she'd ever made—underestimating Jiang Yue.

Claiming Kai's composition as her own was like a domino that had started to fall apart with only one move.

Not only is her family pressuring her to stop being an idol because of how the incident tarnished her reputation, but the unfortunate turn of events led their stock values to collapse faster than she could count to three.

When news of how she had claimed Kai's works and the addition of losing the lawsuit, the company's stock prices took a nosedive as trust in the brand evaporated overnight.

The company's reputation had been tarnished, making it difficult to regain the trust of both customers and investors. As a result, their stock prices stayed in a downward spiral for a long time.

However that didn't bother her that much, what she was worried and anxious about was how she had lost millions of her fans on Weibo, thousands of comments were left on her posts cussing her, and the fact that she won't even be able to appear in the public eye for half a year!

But the person who caused all of this managed to remove the dirt that was thrown at her and was now being praised for helping Mao Shi and Zheng Qingsheng, and what's even more worse was Mao Shi is starting to gain popularity and had even been able to grab the role back that she had stolen from her.

Her life changed overnight just from that one decision of her to claim Kai's works, but despite that, Yan Chun Hua does not feel any remorse for what she did.

What she regretted was underestimating Jiang Yue.

But she won't be able to do anything for the time being because Young Master Luo has her back, but that won't last long.

The day Luo Zhelan abandoned Jiang Yue will be the day she exacts her revenge.

When Jiang Yue arrived at the waiting lounge, her brows raised when she didn't see Luo Zhelan.

'Where did he go?'

Jiang Yue roamed her eyes, and just as she was about to ask a sales clerk, her phone rang from her pant's back pocket.

She grabbed it and answered the call.

"Wait for me there; I'll return in a few minutes," Luo Zhelan stated on the phone, his gaze fixed on the woman in front of him.

On the other end of the phone, Jiang Yue agreed and the call was ended.

He lowered his arm and couldn't help but ran his hand through his hair.

"I knew it... No wonder you're in a women's jewelry store, so you're with Xiao Yue?" Yuan Ru stated with a smile on her face as though she was teasing her son.

Luo Zhelan had decided to check out the jewelry store just two stores away from the one he and Jiang Yue had visited, but he hadn't expected to find his mother there.

However, what even surprise him more was the words said by his mother. 

"Who told you?" Luo Zhelan asked to which Yuan Ru nonchalantly responded, "No one. Xiao Yue is popular in Weibo, of course, I would know about her." 

"You don't even use Weibo that much."  2
