Several days had passed since the incident of Sunshine being detained at the Police Station.

Jiang Yue went back to working mode as there are still no classes, dividing her time into three; supervising Altersky's product development which is the 'Altersky Interactive VR 360 Headset', checking the machine she had made for her father, and at night, playing Rule in Rivalry with Luo Zhelan.

Although she was the one who programmed the VR headset, after it had been tested and there were no errors, she does not have to do anything anymore since she has assigned Allico Intelligence for the production and only has the focus on product development. 

Jiang Xiu on the other hand had been busy with advance reading every major subject of her course and would ask Jiang Yue for some guidance from time to time.

Sometimes Jiang Xiu would play with the two of them from time to time. 

Even Kang Jinhai, Gao Tian, Wan Zhu, and Wen Liling would also play with them since they had already reached the 'Immortal' rank, making it possible for any of them to play with Jiang Yue without the need to use other accounts. However, three days ago, they all decided to stop playing along with Jiang Yue and Luo Zhelan for certain reasons, leaving Jiang Yue confused. 

"Your friend's not going to play with us tonight?" Luo Zhelan asked, the two of them are in the lobby of the game about to start playing, and their microphones were turned on so they could communicate with each other much easier. 

Jiang Yue was silent as she had just sent a message to their group chat, "Wait, I'm asking them." 

Not even a minute since she had sent that message, everyone had already seen it aside from Jiang Xiu who was in her room busy with studying. 

"Is Young Master Luo playing with you Brother Yue?" Wen Liling asked, to which she replied with a "Yes." 

"Oh then I'll pass, have fun playing though." 

"I'll pass too." Gao Tian messaged. 

"Ah I'll pass Brother Yue, I'm playing Altersky right now," Wan Zhu answered. 

Jiang Yue's brows could help but arched seeing all their messages as it was always even them who convince her to take them with her when she play a rank game, now they're not even hesitating to refuse. 

"Okay. How about you Kang Jinhai?" Jiang Yue sent this message and tagged Kang Jinhai, to which he replied with "Ah... wait let me think about it." 

Jiang Yue pursed her lips, "What do you even need to think about it? It's not a life and death situation."

She then received a reply from Kang Jinhai, "I have to think about whether the stars I get are worth the dog food thrown in my face." 

Jiang Yue was speechless, "What dog food?" 

This time, it was Wen Liling who answered her, "Brother Yue, are you playing dumb right now or you really don't have any idea how you and Young Master Luo are behaving in the game?" 

She tried to remember how the two of them behaved in the game, however, she still couldn't find anything weird about it. Aside from the fact that she had been using healer heroes these past few days, nothing had changed. 

"What about it?" 

The other four who had been waiting for Jiang Yue's reply had unbelievable expressions on their faces. 

"Are you serious Brother Yue?" 

Then does that mean Jiang Yue and Young Master Luo are unconsciously flirting with each other? 

If that wasn't their intention, then they can't imagine how much dog food will be thrown in their faces if the two decided to do so. 

"Ah, is that why you didn't want to play with us?" Jiang Yue asked, to which they all replied with a "yes".

"We felt like light bulbs!" Wan Zhu added. 

"We're not even doing anything." 

"Exactly! It's not even the intention of any of the two of you making it premium dog food!" 

Jiang Yue's lips couldn't help but twitch, "That doesn't even make sense," she then added, "Okay, then tell me if you want to play along anytime." 

"Play well Brother Yue!" 

She went out of the group chat, however, she saw that Kang Jinhai sent another message, so she clicked it open once again.

"Wait!"

Jiang Yue opened the message, "Damn, I'll go with you! I'll take the dog food thrown at me as long as you carry me!" 

She was once again speechless.

"Kang Jinhai you dumbass, just let the two of them have their alone time! Stop being a light bulb!" Wen Liling scolded. 

"Let's just play Altersky, why are you even sacrificing yourself for some measly stars?" Wan Zhu added. 

"Measly stars my ass, didn't you even pay someone to play your account just to increase its stars?" 

"That was because I was trying to catch up with you guys!" 

Seeing that the two might enter another banter, Jiang Yue messaged, tagging Kang Jinhai, "Enter the game and I'll invite you." 

Shen then replied to Luo Zhen who had been waiting in the lobby of the game, "Kang Jinhai will join us." 

Seeing that Kang Jinhai had logged in to the game, she invited him right away. 

"Hmm..." Luo Zhelan hummed an assent and he couldn't help but say, "Do you still want to play as the healer? You've been taking that position for days already." 

Jiang Yue was the healer in all of the games aside from the first game they had played, while he took the ace position or the bottom laner, which is also the damage dealer. 

He knew the girl could play any hero and position she wanted, however, he was confused that she had only been playing as the healer every time they play.

"It's fine, I get to just follow you around," she responded. 

Kang Jinhai entered the lobby just as she said those words, making him groan. 

The game hasn't even started yet and these two had already thrown a big pile of dog food in his face to welcome him! 

"How about you take the ace position this time and I'll be the healer?" Luo Zhelan suggested as he wanted to watch her dominate the game. 

Jiang Yue was silent for a moment. 

When she plays alone she never picks the healer because choosing that position means completely depending on other players to win the game, she would either choose to be the middle, top, or bottom laner, or be the ace as all of these positions have the power to fully control the flow of the game. 

However, after seeing how Luo Zhelan played in the first game, she decided to play as the healer as she realized it wouldn't be too bad to play a role that supports him. Although he's still a bit slow in using the heroes, he was no doubt smart with how they use them as he analyzes every action that he does. 

He knows when to retreat and when to attack, playing safe but still able to put pressure on his opponents. 

"Wouldn't that be too boring for you?" Jiang Yue responded as she wanted him to have fun, and playing the healer is a lot less interesting compared to the other positions. 

"It's fine, I'm not playing this game to enjoy it but to spend some time with you." 

Jiang Yue pursed her lips and nodded, and it is only then that she remembered that Luo Zhelan won't see her response as they were only communicating through the phone, "Okay then." 

Kang Jinhai, on the other hand, would have left the lobby right away if Jiang Yue didn't click the 'start game', preventing him from doing so. 

These two are really too much! 

Do they not know that he could hear what they were saying to each other?! 

The picking took place and it was their team who had the chance to pick their hero first. Jiang Yue who was at the top of the leader board was the first one to pick, and she chose an archer hero that is mostly used in the bottom lane as the damage dealer, yet she chose it as the hero for the ace position. 

The opponent was the next to pick their hero then their team again, it was back and forth until everyone had chosen their heroes.  0

Luo Zhelan just like what he had said, took the healer position, while Kang Jinhai played as the top laner which was the damage dealer. 

[Fuck, Triple Z?!] A team message suddenly popped out, followed by several ones being shocked about the fact that Triple Z was their teammate. 

However, Jiang Yue, Luo Zhelan, and Kang Jinhai barely have any reaction as the three of them had seen those messages too many times that it was already normal to them. 

As they were in the rank 'Immortal', almost every teammate and opponent they have would know about Triple Z as these players may have been playing the game for years and are informed about the worldwide ranking. 

[So you're really playing again! It's my honor to be your teammate!] One of the two random teammates stated. 

"Hey isn't this guy a streamer?" Kang Jinhai said out of the blue, getting the two's attention. 

"Which one?" Jiang Yue asked. 

"The last one, the one with the game name 'SpinX'." Kang Jinhai pointed it out, and Jiang Yue merely said an 'Oh' not a bit interested. 

Luo Zhelan clicked their teammate's game name that Kang Jinhai was talking about and a short overview of their profile popped up, showing his leaderboard ranking, overall win rate, and matches, however, there wasn't anything interesting about his information.
