Chaos ensued in her club
Jiang Yue crossed her arms and her fingertips tapped on her skin. 2
Her mind once again struggled to recall everything she knew and replayed the events in her head over and over, hoping to find a way to connect the dots and make sense of everything.
She assumed that it won't be long before their father recovered, and although this may be the case, she may not be able to uncover the mystery of why this all happened. She knew she couldn't bring up the topic again if she didn't want her father to go through that type of suffering.
What she got from her father was that she had to be separated from her Brother and he got her to be his daughter for her safety.
Jiang Guo and Jiang Xiu were injured and nearly died.
Ying Wei was tortured and killed.
These two instances share a common variable and that is her.
Then is it possible that what those people were trying to extract information from her Brother Wei was about her?
Was the root of all these incidents, her?
Is she to blame for everything?
Jiang Yue couldn't help but close her eyes and clenched tightly her hands, which were beginning to tremble.
She doesn't even want to think about it.
She regrets knowing all of this because guilt and self-blame will devour her heart and mind little by bit until she falls into an abyss once more.
But she has no choice but to uncover the truth to avenge them; it's the least she can do.
As she sat alone with her thoughts, her face was etched with lines of puzzlement and distress. She couldn't get rid of the guilt that was eating away at her.
Jiang Yue has become entrapped in her thoughts and feelings, and she is unsure how to break free from the cycle of self-blame and misery.

At the Club Majesty.
"What are you doing, Xifeng? Stop using your phone, we're here to have fun."
When Fu Xifeng looked up, she saw her friend bring her a glass of wine, which she gladly accepted without hesitation.
"I know, just let me reply to this one," she said, taking a sip from her glass before returning to typing on her phone.
She had been arguing with some people on Weibo who had responded to her replies to their comments.
[Do you believe all of these rumors about her would have surfaced if there were no bases? Child, you're still young, so you don't understand how the world works. There's no smoke without fire.]
[Person above, you might want to explain what you just said because that person may not understand what you just said. Stupid people are the ones who often get deceived by their idols.]
[Oh, Child, what I meant was that if something bad is said about someone or something, there is probably a good reason for it.]
Fu Xifeng can't help but murmur to herself as she reads the words, "These— two! Did they just call me stupid?"
"Who called you stupid?" One of her friends inquired, but she remained silent as she glared at her phone.
She clenched her teeth and typed on her phone again, responding to the two persons who had just ganged up on her.
[I'm of legal age and no longer a child, but on second thought, compared to the two of you who are about to meet your maker at any moment, I'm more like an infant.]
She responded as she noticrf from their profile images that they appear to be middle-aged women with nothing to do with their lives but express judgment on teens who are not even half their age.
[I felt confused as to why the two of you couldn't see the truth, so it's because you both have an unclear vision,. You two should quit using Weibo and instead stay in bed and take your meds. Be careful, your eyesight is already poor, so don't make it worse.]
Fu Xifeng took another sip from her glass while waiting for the two to respond.
Her buddies can't help but question again, "What are you doing that you're so preoccupied with your phone?"
"Oh, just responding to some comments," she answered.
"What on earth are you saying on Weibo?" Another of her friends, who was also scrolling through her phone, gasped in shock.
"What happened?" The other two leaned on their friend and peered at her phone, and when they realized what had been keeping Fu Xifeng occupied all this time, they turned to face her with astonished expressions.
"When did you start fighting with random people in comments? That's so unlike you," her friend remarked.
She was about to respond when a tremendous bang, as if something heavy had just fallen, rang throughout the club, followed by a few gasps and shrieks.
In a matter of minutes, the cocktail bar turned chaotic, with the noises of glasses being shattered could be heard.
Fu Xifeng immediately stood up, her heart in her throat, terrified by what had just happened.
Was someone creating trouble in her club?
Although there had been a few little brawls in the club before, they had never been this worse.
She headed to the cocktail bar, where a few people had already formed a semi-circle as if watching something.
"Excuse me," she muttered as she sought to get through the crowds of people who were already discussing what had happened.
"Did you see what happened?"
"Hell, yes, the girl just went ahead and kicked the man on his jewels."
"Fuck, that must have hurt a lot."
Fu Xifeng's brow furrowed as she listened, her head throbbing at the thought of how difficult it would be to settle the matter if one of her customers was injured.
People shrieked once again, and she could hear a heavy thud as if something— or someone— had just fallen on the floor.
"I said excuse me!" She yelled, and several others had already cleared the way for her to easily go through.
When she finally saw the people who are involved in this situation, she halted in her place, stunned when she saw a very familiar face.
What was she doing here?
