Jiang Xiu and Jiang Yue went inside Nightingale's Lounge. With the room number that Kang Jinhai sent, it wasn't that hard to find their room. 0

Just as they were about to twist open their room door knob, the room beside them opened, and several people went out. 

"Hey, isn't this Jiang Xiu?" One of the girls said with an infuriating smile plastered on her face. 

Jiang Xiu's hand that had just reached out to open the door slowly lowered as she pursed her lips.

"We haven't seen you in a while, how have you been?" Lai Li who was the last to come out asked, as though the two of them were close friends who had just met again. 

Jiang Xiu was just about to answer when another student remarked, "She's probably enjoying her sister's limelight." 

"What is there to enjoy? The public's cursing comments about her?" Lai Li stated with a mocking grin on her face, making Jiang Xiu's face darken. 

Jiang Yue who had been silently listening, couldn't help but raise her brow at the group of people in front of them. 

Had they still not learned their lesson?

"I don't see how's that any of your business." She uttered in a frigid voice, causing the others to turn their gazes to her. 

"Hey, we didn't know you were there this whole time!" 

"Next time you should immediately speak up Jiang Yue, or else we would think you're just some random slut who was about to enter a private room to entertain her customers," Another commented causing several students to laugh out loud. 

Jiang Xiu's fists were clenched as she glared at the girls in front of her.

"What are you glaring at us for Jiang Xiu?" 

"You should be careful with your gaze, I don't like being glared at like that." Lai Li stated as she narrowed her eyes back. 

"You should be careful with your words, I don't like hearing the crap coming out your mouth." Jiang Xiu retorted. 

"What crap? Where did we even say any nonsense? They are all the truth. It was what people are calling her, a vixen, a slut, and a good-for-nothing. None of it was made up by us. So tell us Jiang Xiu, how did it become crap?" Lai Li responded with arms folded in front of her chest. 

"Hey, did you forget that she got new names again?" 

"Oh right, now she's narcissistic, a humbug—" Lai Li wasn't able to finish her words as a ringing sound can be heard despite the somehow loud hallway. 

The other students gasped when they saw what happened. 

Jiang Yue who had just grabbed her sister's hand a while ago so they can just enter the room and not listen to any more of their group's nonsense froze in her place. 

Jiang Xiu just slapped Lai Li on her cheek. 

She hadn't even seen the girl slap anyone once, and she never expected that she would see her do it one day as she knew that her sister is timid. 

"You— Jiang Xiu how dare you slap me!" Lai Li screeched, a red mark could be seen on her cheek and her glaring eyes were red, making her look horrifying. 

However, what happens next was a shock to everyone as Jiang Xiu once again slapped the girl on her other cheek in just a few seconds. 

Lai Li who had just both of her cheeks slapped was dumbfounded. 

Jiang Xiu narrowed her eyes at them, "Don't ask me if I would dare 'cause I'm willing to do more than that if I hear more crap you say about my sister!" 

"Sister, let's go." Jiang Xiu grabbed her sister's hand and was just about to open the door when a hand suddenly grabbed her hair causing her to take a few steps back. 

"You freak! How dare you!" 

"Get your hands off me Lai Li!" 

"I won't let you go until I won't make you beg for my forgiveness you bitch! AHHH!" 

The hand that was on Jiang Xiu's hair was grabbed by another hand and Lai Li felt as though her bones were being crushed by how tight the hold is, causing her to cry out in pain. 

"You slut! Get your hands off— Ahh!" 

"Step one more and I won't hesitate to crush her hand," Jiang Yue glared at the other girls who would just about to help Lai Li and warned in a cold voice causing a chill to run up the girls' spines. 

"Ahhh! Jiang Yue, you're insane! I won't fucking forgive you if anything happens to my hand!" 

"It was not me who was provoking others without any thought, so I don't think I'm the one who's insane here," remarked Jiang Yue and the hold on the girl's hand became tighter, making her cuss out due to the pain. 

The door of the room just beside them opened and Wan Zhu's off-tune singing can be heard in the hallway.

Kang Jinhai who was about to go out to the bathroom, froze in his place as his eyes widened when he saw the scene in front of him. 

Lai Li was grabbing Jiang Xiu's hair, Jiang Yue was holding Lai Li's hand, and several Class One students were surrounding the two. 

"Kang Jinhai get your fucking friend to remove her hand!" Lai Li shrieked, hoping to free her hand as she couldn't handle the pain anymore. 

"Ha— what— what the hell happened?!" His brain couldn't wrap around what he just saw.

Who would be in their right mind when the first scene they saw when they opened the door was that?! 

With his shout, the singing inside the karaoke room stopped, and the others went up to the door and peered at what happened. 

"Holy cow, what in the world happened here— are you okay Xiao Xiu?" Wen Liling asked the girl who was facing their room's door with her hair still being grabbed by someone. 

"I'm fine, they started it first." 

"We started it?! You're the one who slapped Lai Li first!" 

"It was you who slapped Lai Li and now we started it?!" 

"Do you expect her to do nothing after you slapped her?!" 

Hearing all their words, Jiang Xiu yelled back, "Then do you expect me to do nothing after all the crap you've said about my sister?!"
