The day everyone had been looking forward to finally arrived after two and a half weeks of waiting.0

Millions of third-year high school students around the country are nervously and eagerly awaiting the results of the National College Entrance Examination.

They had spent nearly every year of their lives preparing for this moment, believing that the outcome would determine their careers and futures.

Jiang Yue and Jiang Xiu were in their condominium, both busy on their laptops, waiting for the results— and Jiang Xiu was the only one doing so, as Jiang Yue was once again preoccupied with other matters.

Jiang Yue had been working on programming the Virtual Reality version of Altersky after the examination.

"What do you think my score is, Sister?" Jiang Xiu asked, opening another box of chocolate on the center table to calm her nerves.

Jiang Yue raised her head and replied, "Enough for you to be admitted to Capital University."

"I'm confident I'd be eligible to apply to first-tier universities, I'm just afraid my name will be far from yours... It would be nice to have our names next to each other."

"It won't be as long as you've done your best," Jiang Yue said, grabbing a piece of chocolate from the table, "any rank is already good as long as you've passed the cut-off score for the first-tier universities."

"Really?" Jiang Xiu furrowed her head as she couldn't help but ask, "Any rank is fine, then why are you aiming for a perfect score?"

"Haven't I told you that Master is the other head of the Research Organization? I want to enter, and I need to prove myself."

Jiang Xiu nodded, "Then does that mean that you'll be able to join the organization once class starts?" 

Her brows furrowed, not because of her sister's question but because of how sweet the chocolate was, "Why is this so sweet?" 

"Because it's chocolate, and chocolate is supposed to be sweet?"

"Well, it's too sweet," she grumbled, and replied to the girl's question, "Well, no, I have to do more if I want to be admitted to the Organization."

"That doesn't sound easy— Oh my, it's almost time!" Jiang Xiu exclaimed as she noticed the time on her laptop, a few more minutes, and the results would be out, "I wonder what the cut-off scores will be for each tier..."

"Sister, let's see our results together," Jiang Xiu suggested and Jiang Yue removed her laptop from her legs and sat alongside the girl who was already refreshing the page where they had to log in to get their results.

When the clock struck the right minute for the results to be released, Jiang Xiu didn't waste any second logging in with her student identification details, and a column soon appeared where her score in each of the subjects was listed. 

Seeing the numbers on each side of the subject caused her heart, which had been dangling due to anxiety, to burst from all the excitement and happiness she felt.

She scored 148 for both Mathematics and Foreign Language, 146 for Chinese, and a total of 296 on all of her elective subjects which are Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. 

Her overall score for the National College Entrance Examination is 738. 

Two points higher than her Mock Examination results. 

Although the Mock Examination questions were based on prior years' National College Entrance Examination questions, they were nevertheless significantly different from the actual ones, and most students received lower scores compared to their Mock Examination results.

So obtaining a score that was not only not lower but also two points higher than her Mock Examination results was much beyond her expectations!

"I got 738..." Jiang Xiu grumbled to herself, refreshing the website multiple times and seeing the numbers remained unchanged made her elated as though her heart was about to burst, "I really got 738!"

Jiang Yue couldn't help but chuckle when he saw her reaction, "You did very well."

Her sister turned towards her, and it was only then that she realized the girl began crying, her tears pouring incessantly, causing her to be restless in her seat because she didn't know what to do.

"I got 738... I never— I never thought I could even achieve that number..." Jiang Xiu exclaimed between gasps, as happiness started to overwhelm her, causing her tears to just flood out. 

Jiang Yue grabbed a box of tissue and gave it to her, "Why are you crying? Tears shouldn't be shed when you are happy." 

"I'm crying because I'm happy," Jiang Xiu whispered as she wiped her eyes with a tissue, "My heart felt so full seeing all my hard work finally pay off, and my tears just unconsciously fell."

"That happens?" Jiang Yue asked, raising her brow.

"Of course," Jiang Xiu nodded and returned her attention to the laptop, "Let's check your score Sister— hey, why does it only show a blank page?" she couldn't help but grumble after refreshing the page multiple times and it still returned to a blank page.

"What exactly is happening?"

"Let's wait a few minutes, it just crashed, most likely due to a traffic error," Jiang Yue said before returning to her seat to use her laptop.

"Oh, really? Then let's wait for a few minutes." 

However, Jiang Yue unexpectedly received a phone call, only to find out that it was Diang Ning's requestion for her to go to Allico Intelligence due to some concerns about the VR headset.

Since it was concerning the VR headset, she agreed. 

"Where are you going Sister?" Jiang Xiu asked when she noticed her sister had changed her clothes. 

"I just need to settle some business. I'll be back in a while," Jiang Yue replied, placing her small laptop in her black bag.

"Oh, then how about your results?" 

"I'll check it later." 

"Then take care," Jiang Xiu stated and tried to reload the page again, but it still displayed a blank page.

Jiang Yue took her car key from her bag and left the condominium.

It is only then when she got back that she realized she once again took Weibo by storm, but this time, taking up the top 5 trending topics of the platform.
