Xia Mingzhou who was taking a nap, was woken up by the ringing of her phone. Reluctantly, she fumbled for her phone on the bedside table and answered the call when she saw that the caller's name was 'Lai Li'. 

"Lai Li, what is it?" Xia Mingzhou questioned, groggily sitting up.

"Mingzhou, have you checked Weibo?" Lai Li asked with anxiousness in her voice. 

Xia Mingzhou, who was still groggy and attempting to make sense of her friend's remark, didn't hear Lai Li's urgency, "What?"

"I said, check Weibo! We're dead!" Lai Li yelled again on the other end of the phone, and Xia Mingzhou's thoughts, which had been fuzzy from sleep for a while, cleared up.

"Okay, okay, gosh, you could have just chatted to me about it, I was sleeping for goodness sake," Xia Mingzhou grumbled then she hung up the phone.

She opened Weibo without expecting anything because most of the comments were about Jiang Yue being the Nation's Top Scorer and achieving a perfect score and her issue with Zheng Qingsheng, which had been clarified. 

She had been staying up late at night commenting on posts about Jiang Yue in an attempt to remind people that Jiang Yue was not the type of person she is attempting to portray in public by bringing up the fact that the girl was disowned by her maternal family.

She stood up and headed down to the first floor, intending to have some food while checking Weibo.

Her notifications were constantly ringing from all the mentions and tags she was receiving, but she ignored them all. She thought it was because she had disclosed the two Jiang Sisters being disowned, which she had been receiving notifications about since the day she posted it.

A notification showed up that Lai Li had sent a message so she opened it which was a link. 

Xia Mingzhou opened it without thinking and when she saw the captions, her brows couldn't help but furrow. 

"What happened that night? Why is Lai Li even sending me this kind of post?" She mumbled to herself before grabbing a drink and sitting on the couch in the living room. 

She played the video that was attached first, and when she realized that it was the hallway of Nightingale Lounge, she couldn't help but straighten her back. 

What happened next in the video turned Xia Mingzhou's face as pale as a sheet as her other hand on the glass tightened.

It was the video of what happened that night, showing that it was Lai Li's group who started taunting and insulting the two sisters when they were just about to enter the room. 

Every word stated by the people in the footage, as well as every ridiculing and mocking expression on her classmates' faces, can be seen and heard clearly in the video, with the exception of Jiang Yue and Jiang Xiu, who had their backs to the camera, but that wasn't the worst.

What she couldn't accept was the fact that she had been captured while recording the incident. Despite having her back on the camera, her identity became apparent when her classmates called out her name.

Xia Mingzhou stopped the video and opened the pictures that had been posted along it, and there was even additional proof that it was she who posted the video under an anonymous account.

Anger coursed through her veins as she couldn't believe that the post had not only cleared the names of the two sisters but had also dragged hers into the mud.

She published that video with the purpose of staining mainly Jiang Xiu's name because she had taken first place in the mock examination and to further ruin Jiang Yue's reputation because she couldn't accept that the girl was Kai.

She despised the thought that some of the songs she had been listening to throughout the years had been created by that girl.

She doesn't want Jiang Yue and Jiang Xiu to live well after deciding to cut off ties with their family. 

Who are they to cut ties with the Xia Family? 

Who are they to cut ties with her?! 

It should be her and her family who should sever relations with them!

So, before the two of them could declare that they had severed ties with her family, Xia Mingzhou decided that she should be the one to share the news so she could manipulate it any way she saw fit.

And she was able to manipulate the story in any way she wanted to gain sympathy and attention from the public, and she even gained tens of thousands of Weibo followers after Jiang Yue's identity as Kai was revealed and her issue with Zheng Qingsheng began to circulate.

Xia Mingzhou opened the comments of the post and her eyes went cold when she saw that the post already has almost three hundred thousand likes and around sixty thousand comments. 

What upset her, even more, were the thousands of negative comments she received.
