He is in a mental hospital
"We finally found him?" Jiang Yue uttered more to herself as she was still in disbelief. 2
Sunshine who heard her words, nodded, "Yes! I saw him myself and he looks the same with the photo you've shown me, so there's no doubt about it. He was just skinnier this time and, of course, older."
Feng De was the only other clue that Jiang Yue have that could lead her to the person who is responsible for harming her family and her brother.
He was the only person that Ying Wei had ever tried to meet several times, other than her, Jiang Xiu, their father, and Mao Shi.
And most of the time they met, it was covertly, and the two avoided being captured on any kind of surveillance camera. If Jiang Yue weren't able to notice the pattern of her brother when he leaves his house, she doubts she would even be able to find out about this person.
Ying Wei would tell her to not come to his house because he has to leave on the 15th of every two months and this went on for more than one and a half years which made her notice and remember it. With this information, she use what her other Master, Sun Guang, had taught her and hacked into every camera surveillance in every alley and in every establishment to follow Ying Wei and Feng De's tracks.
She spent several years investigating the matter and attempting to figure out where Feng De is today, and it was always a dead end, so to finally know that they have found him seems like a dream come true.
"Well, have you talked to him?" Jiang Yue asked, her eyes brighter than ever, as if she had just discovered something she had been looking for all this time.
Sunshine who was grinning from ear to ear couldn't help but grimace as she said in a small voice, "Uh— we have another problem though. I did talk to him but he's in a state where he can't really reply or even understand what I was saying..."
Jiang Yue's expression changed into one of confusion, "He can't reply? What do you mean?"
"The girl who asked for my assistance in checking up on Feng De brought me to a mental hospital, where he is now staying, he appears to be psychotic."
"Seems to be psychotic?" her brow furrowed as she repeated the woman's words.
Sunshine nodded and explained further, "He appears to be losing touch with reality, and he would tend to experience hallucinations and delusions. However, that is not the only issue. Feng De is diagnosed with Aphasia, and that's what I mean when I say he can't understand nor reply to my questions, and even if he does, it doesn't make sense."
"What kind of Aphasia? From what I understand, there are different kinds, right? Has he ever suffered from any brain injury?" Jiang Yue inquired, hoping to learn more and find a cure. Although she is far behind Sunshine in terms of medical expertise, she is significantly more knowledgeable in terms of technology, and there is a possibility that Feng De can be treated.
"It's Global Aphasia," the woman said, her brows furrowed, "I've asked the doctors at the mental hospital about his case, and they said that when he was brought there, Feng De had no brain injury, nor had he had any before. You know that what causes Global Aphasia are injuries on multiple parts of the brain which is strange because Feng De had none."
"Where is this mental hospital?" Jiang Yue inquired, intending to see it.
"Just near Country Z's western border. They suffered from the earthquake as well, but thankfully, no one was hurt and the hospital did not collapse."
Jiang Yue nodded, completely agreeing with the woman's statements.
Although they had located Feng De, obtaining information from him will be difficult, and there is even a possibility that she may not be able to obtain any information from him, but at least nothing awful had occurred to the man.
As long as he was alive, Jiang Yue would do anything to get the information that she needed from the man.
"When do you have time? Let's go there," Jiang Yue said, drawing a scowl from Sunshine.
"Oh, I was planning to relocate to the Capital, but I could accompany you any day."
"You're planning to move here permanently or temporarily?" Jiang Yue asked as the woman staying in a fixed place permanently is close to impossible.
"Permanently."
"You don't intend to travel from one location to another?"
"Perhaps soon, once I've pursued my man, but for now, I'll be here permanently."
Jiang Yue wanted to say that it was not permanent if it still isn't fixed, but she simply nodded, knowing that the woman would change her mind soon enough.
"Then how about your identity? Are you going to use a real one or do you need me to fake one for you?" Jiang Yue questioned, as the woman always used a different identity when she moved from one place to another.
"I'll use my true identity because I don't want to fool him."
"Hearing those words from you, it seems like you're already head over heels for the man."
"Really?" Sunshine wiggled her brows at the girl, "Speak for yourself. You're the one who looks at a man with hearts in her eyes now. You just dropped a bomb on me a while ago to the point where I don't even know how to react, thank goodness I kept my composure."
Jiang Yue couldn't help but scoff, "That sounds too far-fetched," but her eyes softened as she thanked her friend, "But thank you, I was beginning to think that maybe I wouldn't be able to find Feng De. It's a good thing to have a friend like you who just travels from one place to another."
"Oh, please, you do that too."
"Mostly just moving from one city to another."
"That's because no one knows you've been traveling from one country to another."
"They don't need to know," Jiang Yue said, looking at her watch to discover they'd been talking for nearly 30 minutes. "I'll go now, Luo Zhelan is still waiting for me, and I wish you luck in pursuing your man."
"Thank you, I may need it. I'll introduce him to you once I get him."
Jiang Yue nodded and got out of the car, which then drove away from the building's parking space.
