Miguel then looked at Jordan and he said to him : "There are so many black particles in his body that the healing potion of divine grade gets eliminated before it can even start to take effect... Be honest, is there too much for you ?"1

Jordan then said to him before starting to examine him : "I know him, it's Atlas, he's the captain of Cassandra's elite guard... Do you really want me to try to save him, because take my word for it, I'm a small player compared to this big shot."

Miguel looked at Caleb and the girl he was holding, and he frowned when he detected something abnormal with her.

This girl wasn't a mage as he couldn't detect any energy reserves inside her body, however the particles of light seemed to be attracted to her like a magnet, and a high concentration of these particles constantly gravitated around her, it was very strange.

Caleb, who knew very well what Miguel wanted from him, immediately said : "All I can tell you is that he was willing to die to protect her, and given the wounds on his body, they could only have been made by Lilith herself or one of her Knights of Darkness."

Lena regained her senses and she then told them : "The one who did this to him is called Roman, and he has a black symbol on his forehead that looks similar of the one Caleb has on his forehead... Please sir can you save him I owe him my life.

She then added because the one called Jordan seemed reluctant to help him : "It's true he can be ruthless sometimes but he's always been fair, and he doesn't want to serve the Emperor of the Titans anymore.

He didn't tell me what it was, but he found out something that made him change drastically, and he said he didn't want to participate in their madness anymore."

Miguel then looked at Jordan and he asked him curiously : "You don't seem to like him, why ?"

Jordan then shook his head and he told him : "It's not that, and I don't really know him. Atlas is a legend on our world, he served the Emperor of the Titans long before I was born and he is the most respected, envied and feared mage among the Titans.

He was the one who recruited me to become a mage in the service of the Imperial Palace... And it was he who introduced me to Lilith and told me that she would make me stronger than I could ever imagine."

He looked at Miguel and he said honestly to him : "I will save him if you asked me to, but I will never trust him."

Miguel nodded and he said to him : "Go ahead and save him, and don't worry, I will take full responsibility for this decision and kill him myself if he turns out to be a spy."

Caleb never asked them anything, but he could see that he cared a lot about all the humans he met here, and this girl he had put his arm around her shoulders to comfort her, really cared about this Titan.

Plus, even though Caleb hadn't asked him anything he could see that he was interested in this Titan and as always he wanted to trust the Warrior Spirits' flawless instincts.

Isaac had been right about Jordan, and they had gained a very powerful mage in their ranks thanks to him, so it was worth taking a chance on this one too.

Jordan then asked him, snapping him out of his thoughts : "Can you lend me one of the biggest black crystals we found today.

They're not full, so I should be able to transfer the black particles from his body into one of those big crystals."

Miguel immediately took out the two biggest black crystals which, as Jordan had just said, were only half full because no matter how big the black crystals they had brought back from the red dungeon were, they were all filled with the same amount of black particles which were equivalent to 3 black pills of Lilith.

And it was the same for the golden crystals he had found inside the Angels.

With only 2 red dungeons they had already gained so much, without counting the 13 black crystals and the 15 golden ones, they had kept about fifty weapons made with unknown ores but which were really powerful.

He then handed the black crystals to Jordan who placed one next to him and the other directly on Atlas' chest, then he told him to help him and for Jordan to be as efficient as possible : "Since the black particles have spread all over his body and the defenses he has placed around his vital points are disappearing rapidly now that he is unconscious, start by removing the black particles that are around his energy reserve and his heart, if we can secure that area it should be fine."

Kelan, once he saw that Jordan had started to remove the black particles, stepped forward and bowed his head respectfully to Miguel before asking him, completely ignoring Caleb : "Master, my brothers and father are still fighting up there, can I go join them, our mission here is over and we can't be of any help to you."

Caleb's men joined Kelan and they too bowed their heads to Miguel, they all wanted to participate in this battle, they had been waiting for this moment for a very long time and they didn't want to stay in this basement while the others were fighting.

Miguel could understand them so he immediately opened a teleportation portal and told them : "Be careful and protect each other."

Caleb let go of Lena immediately and he stopped Kelan before he went through the portal.

All of his men hurried through the teleportation portal which did not escape him, and he wondered why they seemed to be running away, because he could not find any other words to describe their behavior.
