The car sped past through the road with a high speed. 

At this time of night, the roads were almost empty. 

He Jian's face was cold as he drove the car inside which except him there was no one. 

In his ears rang Shi Fengjuu's words and his knuckles were almost white as he held the steering wheel tightly.

At the same time, he remember Mo Roulan's calm face when she had expressed her fears of being with him. 

In the end, she was right. 

It had not been even a day since she had started dating him, Shi Fengju, his close friend already said such words about her. 

He Jian was angry as well as disappointed. 

He was also scared as he wondered if Mo Roulan had heard such words about herself she would never be willing to see his face who was the reason behind her insult. 

Soon, He Jian stopped the car in front of the building. He didn't bother about parking the car in the garage. 

The drive must have followed him in a taxi and he would do it. 

He just wanted to see Mo Roulan as soon as possible. 

It felt as if he didn't reach her soon then she would disappear forever. 

For the second time in his life, He Jian jumped across the balcony to see a girl and invaded her room. 

It was slightly funny and creepy how he had promised himself last time that that time would be last but at this time, he couldn't think about anything. 

His steps were silent and careful as he slid the door of the balcony and stepped inside the room. 

Disapproval flashed through his eyes when he realised that she again didn't lock the door. 

However, he was at the same time, fortunate as he would not have been able to see her otherwise. 

Mo Roulan had actually started to lock the balcony door every day since the day He Jian had entered her room front the balcony. 

However, today had been so exhausting for her that it had drained her out emotionally. 

A large part of her heart was in conflict and wondered if she did right by accepting He Jian's proposal of dating for three months. 

In the end, she slept while thinking all this. 

She was deeply asleep and hence she never realised when He Jian sat on the edge of the bed. 

His blue eyes were filled with intense warmth and love as he stared at her face. 

"I won't let you be wronged."

He whispered as he stretched his hand out to touch her face but in the end, didn't do so in fear that she would wake up. 

He still needed to win her trust. 

If she woke up and saw him entering her room like this, then she would never be able to trust him again and he didn't want that. 

He just sat there for a long time thinking about Shi Fengju and his Lanlan's words.

This incident also made He Jian realise that he needed to wait. He needed to be slow in this relationship and make sure that Mo Roulan would first feel fearless and secure in this relationship. 

He needed to make her feel confident of being his girlfriend first. 

Only then he could tell everyone else that they were together. 

If he tried to hurry then he would perhaps lost her together. 

Mo Roulan fears were reasonable and he needed to clear them out altogether. 

His eyes flickered with coldness when he remembered Shi Fengju's words again. 

They think that she was not capable of standing by his side, don't they? 

In fact, in his eyes, it was he who was not capable of standing by her side. 

He couldn't flirt like the boys of her age. He didn't know many things. He needed to learn a lot.

He was just looking out for He Jian. 

In his frustration, he called Shen Yiling. It was only she who would understand him because she had the same thought regarding Mo Roulan. However, he didn't realise that such thoughts were filled in his mind by the same Shen Yiling. 

Shen Yiling was sleeping. She frowned in irritation when she saw Shi Fengju's name on the screen of her phone but still slid the screen to answer the phone. 

Shu Fengju was the only link to He Jian these days for her so she had to bear with him. 

"Hello, Brother Fengju."

Shi Fengju felt guilty because he could feel from her voice that she had been sleeping. 

However, the news he wanted to tell her was also important so he told her. 

"Yiling you were right. Mo Roulan is not that simple as she shows herself to be. Don't know what she did…but now she and He Jian are dating each other."

And on the other side, Shen Yilinh's sleep had disappeared completely when she heard Shi Fengju's words. 

She sat up on the bed. Her eyes were sharp and cold as she said sharply 

"What did you say?"

  After Shi Fengju told her everything, he didn't hear anything from the other side for a long time. 

He was worried when he remembered how Shen Yiling looked like when He Jian had refused the engagement. 

He couldn't help but call out her name. 

"Yiling…"

"Yes…"2

Sure enough, when Shen Yiling spoke again, her voice was slightly breathless as if she was crying. 

"Don't worry. I am investigating her. I am sure that I will surely find something against her."

Shi Fengju immediately tried to provide some comfort to her.

However, Shen Yiling only said a few words

"Alright. I will sleep."

And then hung up on him.

It was not doubtful that if Mo Roulan was in front of her then Shen Yiling would have tear her body without any hesitation.
