"Did she look satisfied with the change of job?"

"Yes, Boss. Miss Mo looked very happy. She couldn't wait to go to the designing department and start working."

Chu Feng told his boss honestly. 

He Jian who heard his assistant's words imagined the girl's black-brown eyes filled with brightness and a wide smile on her lips, his lips curled up unconsciously. 

"Good." 

Though he felt slightly upset that now he would not be able to have her around him continuously, in the end what mattered most was her happiness. 

"Send her all the requirements of the client and ask her if she need anything else."

Chu Feng's lips twitched as he wondered if he was Miss Mo's assistant from now on. However, he didn't dare to ask this question from his boss and silently did as the latter said. 

He was already having goosebumps these days seeing him smiling so suddenly. Chu Feng thought that the world was coming to end. 

He never knew that his boss could also smile like this.

When Chi Rong returned to Chi Mansion for lunch, he was informed by Butler that Lin Qianru was still asleep. 

He was surprised but felt happy and relieved that she was resting. 

A thought suddenly came to mind and he entered the kitchen. 

When the old butler saw his master's actions, he couldn't help but follow. His eyes went wide when he saw his master taking some vegetables and eggs out as he realised what his master wanted to do. 

"Master, what are you doing? Let me do it. Miss Lin has actually prepared everything. I will make lunch for Master in a few minutes."

When Chi Rong heard the butler, he saw that Lin Qianru had already made some arrangements. 

He nodded his head and said to the butler. 

"You can leave. I know how to cook. If I would help I will call you."

The butler felt helpless seeing his master's firmness. He didn't leave as his master said and waited there. 

However, as time passed, he was shocked to see that his master actually knew cooking. 

"When did master learn this?

He never knew that his master could also cook. 

Chi Rong smiled on hearing Butler's shocked voice and said 

"I only knew some easy dishes to cook. Had to learn during my college since I was alone."

The butler sympathised with his master when he heard this. He actually knew that his master's parents had left this world long ago and it was actually his master's uncle who had taken care of him. 

That's his master cared for his uncle so much. 

After he had finished cooking the lunch, Chi Rong decided to go and wake up Lin Qianru. He didn't know why but he felt slightly excited on thinking how surprised Lin Qianru would look when she would see the lunch cooked by him. 

Chi Rong first knocked on the door. However, after he knocked on the door for four to five times, no one opened it. He only thought that she was deeply asleep and carefully stepped inside the room. 

Sure enough, she was deeply asleep. Her back was facing him. 

Slowly, he walked toward the bed. 

"Qianru…"

Chi Rong called out softly but Lin Qianru didn't even move. He called her name out again and again but the result was the same. 

Confused, he walked to the other side of the bed to look at her. 

However, when saw her red face, his eyes flashed with worry, and without thinking anything, he put his head on her forehead. 

When Chi Rong felt the temperature of the skin under his hand, his face went somber and his lips were pressed in a thin line. 

He seemed to be upset with himself as he shouted for Butler. 

When the butler came and saw Chi Rong's head on Lin Qianru's forehead, he was confused for a moment but came out of his trance when Chi Rong asked him to bring a thermometer. 

The butler brought back the thermometer immediately.

When he glanced at the temperature on the thermometer, the butler was also worried and said 

"I should have guessed when Miss Lin's face looked so pale before. She must be feeling very uncomfortable."

Chi Rong didn't say anything and asked the butler to bring him a few things. 

After the butler had left, he took out his phone and called a doctor. 

The butler came back with a bowl of water and a cloth. After giving it to Chi Rong, he said 

"I will go and make some porridge. The medicine would need to be taken after some food."

Chi Rong only nodded his head as he put the cloth on Lin Qianru's forehead. The doctor came soon and checked Lin Qianru. 

The doctor was a friend of Chi Rong and he looked slightly stunned when he entered the room and saw Chi Rong putting the cloth on a woman's forehead. 

"Who is she?"

He couldn't help but asked as he took out some medicines from his bag for Lin Qianru.

However, Chi Rong didn't give him a straight reply and said 

"Someone you don't need to know about."

The doctor sighed knowing that he is not going to get to know anything and shut his mouth. After telling Chi Rong which medicine needed to be given and at what time, he stood up to leave. 

However, Chi Rong stopped him and asked seriously 

"She collapsed suddenly a few days back and now this…do you think that there can be something wrong?"

The middle-aged doctor raised his eyebrows when he heard this and looked at Lin Qianru again as he said 

"I can't say anything just like this but you can bring her to the hospital once. We can do some tests."

"We did."

Chi Rong said.

"I went to the hospital last time and the doctor in your hospital did some tests but she said everything was alright. She just needed some rest."2

"Is that so?"

The middle-aged doctor frowned when he heard this. He didn't know what he could say. After a few moments, he just said 

"Bring her again to my department when she gets better. I will personally do the tests this time and tell you."

"Alright."

Chi Rong said and the doctor left. 

Looking at the unconscious woman, Chi Rong didn't know why but he felt slightly afraid for the first time. He pushed aside this feeling and went back to change the cloth on her forehead. 

Everything is alright. She just needs some rest and he would make sure that she would have that.
