"What are you thinking?"

Lin Qianru blinked and raised her head to look at Chi Rong. She put on a smile and shook her head. 

"Nothing. I am just thinking of leaving a text for Mo Roulan that I will be late."

"Hmm…you should."

Chi Rong said as he drove the car. 

They were coming back from his uncle's house just after telling him that they were soon going to marry. 

Chi Rong's uncle was very happy after getting this news. He only let them return in the evening when Chi Rong told him that he had a meeting early in the morning so needed to go back. 

Lin Qianru typed the text and then put the phone in her bag. 

She raised her head and looked at Chi Rong again. 

There was a smile on his lips. In fact, during the whole day she didn't seen him without the smile on his lips. 

He was happy. However, his happiness increased her guilt. 

She was using him for her purpose. 

She again came out of her trance when she heard Chi Rong asking her 

"When are you taking me to meet Roulan and Chenchen? I want to tell them about marriage together with you."

Lin Qianru stiffened at his words. 

In fact, she had not thought about how she would talk about all this with her children. 

Perhaps Chi Rong felt her conflict.

He immediately stopped the car at the side of the read and then turned to look at her.

"Qianru, I can understand why you are scared. If they were reluctant, I can understand them. But I promise you that I will always treat them as my children. They will belong to Chi family after our marriage. I will love them so much that they will not be able to help but accept me."

Chi Rong had a big assuring smile on his lips when he said these words. 

Lin Qianru was actually shocked when she heard him say all this without any hesitation on his face. 

He was so ready to accept her children as his. 

But was it not why she decided to say yes? 

She opened her mouth to say something but her throat seemed to be blocked with something. 

She closed it and took a deep breath. 

As a person who had loved someone crazily in her life, she was able to see that Chi Rong really loved her.

Chi Rong's smile disappeared. 

He knew who Lin Qianru was talking about.

"My Qianru is very strong. I will pamper you in the future. Our children will have a father and I will always treat then good."

As she looked at his assuring smile, Lin Qianru felt her eyes going hot. Her heart seemed to be blocked with something and she only nodded her head. 

As the car started, she again wondered if whatever she was doing was right or not. 

For the sake of her children, was betraying Chi Rong right?

Inside the dimly lit room, a figure walked toward the hospital bed where Shen Youlin was deeply asleep. 

The figure, dressed in patient clothes, stopped near the bed.

A pair of eyes looked at Shen Youlin's face intensely. 

"Youlin…I am so sorry, baby. I left you alone. I won't do this in this life, Youlin. We will be together again."

Song Xinyi whispered as she looked at the girl lying on the bed with red eyes. 

Her head was wrapped in a bandage. The accident from the day before had left her on the brink of death. 

Her face was pale and it could be seen that she was having difficulty while standing but she still came to see Shen Youlin as soon as she came to know that the latter was here. 

"I will protect you from now."

She promised Shen Youlin in a firm voice. 

Her hand couldn't help but reach out to touch Shen Youlin's hand but she stopped at the last moment as she was afraid to wake her up. 

She didn't want to scare Shen Youlin. 

Shen Youlin didn't know what all she knows. A smile full of despair graced Son Xinyi's lips as she remembered whatever she saw in her dream. 

Last night, she remembered everything about her past life. 

Her eyes couldn't help but close and tears slid out from them as the picture of Shen Youlin falling from the building flashed in front of her eyes. 

Opening her eyes, she looked at the girl again.
