The Guilty Lin Qianru

The next morning, Lin Qianru had just stepped out of the elevator to go to Chi Mansion when her phone rang. 

She saw that it was Chi Rong calling her. 

As she slid the screen to answer the call, she walked towards the exit of the building. 

"Hello"

"Hello, Qianru, are you ready?...Never mind, Just walk straight."

Lin Qianru didn't understand what he was saying. It was only when she raised her head, did she realise what he meant to say. 

A car was standing outside the building and she knew that it belonged to Chi Rong. Sure enough, he stepped out of it and smiled at her when she approached him. 

Lin Qianru smiled back and wished him 'good morning'. Chi Rong wished her back. When he opened the door for her to sit inside and even put his hand on the roof of the car to protect her head, she felt awkward. 

In fact, she didn't understand why a man like Chi Rong would like her. 

However, she didn't want to ponder over that because it increased the guilt inside her heart. 

Chi Rong started the car. 

It was a few minutes later that Lin Qianru said 

"Roulan wants to meet you."

Chi Rong was surprised to know that she had already talked to Mo Roulan. But he was also happy. 

He was so happy that he didn't know how he could express his happiness. Everything was turning out to be so beautiful. 

He had not imagined that Lin Qianru would agree so easily. He had thought that he would have to pursue her and he was ready to do that. 

However, she agreed. 

He had decided to give her all the love after their marriage. He will pamper her a lot... and their children as well. He had met Mo Roulan and Mo Chen once and they were sensible and intelligent according to him.

"Just tell me whenever she is free. I will pick you all and we all can go to some nice place."

Lin Qianru hummed and no longer said anything. 

She was looking out of the window silently when she suddenly realised that the way was different. 

Surprised, she asked Chi Rong about it but she was shocked when she heard him say 

"That day when you had fever, I had called my friend to come to check you. He said we should get some medical tests done so that we can rest assure that you are completely fine."

"There is no need for that. I am completely alright."

She said immediately. However, Chi Rong shook his head and said firmly 

"Qianru, Let's do it. I am also worried about you. A few days you collapsed and then you suddenly had a fever. Even if everything is fine, there is nothing wrong in doing this."

Lin Qianru couldn't find any words to refute him. 

A moment later, they were already in front of the hospital. 

When they were walking inside the hospital, Chi Rong hesitated and then finally held her hand. 

He was afraid that she would not like it but when she didn't pull away, he sighed in relief. 

But then he felt how cold her hands were. 

Chi Rong frowned as he held her hand more tightly. 

And she says that she is completely alright. He just wished that she just needed some rest. 

Almost three hours later, they were done with all the tests. 

Lin Qianru was slightly relieved when the doctor said that the reports would come in two days. She could think of something in two days. 

With these thoughts, she sat inside the car. 

When they went to Chi Mansion, she was about to go to the kitchen to cook when Chi Rong suddenly held her hand to stop her.

"I hired a new cook. You don't need to cook now."

"What!"

Lin Qianru was shocked when she heard this. 

"But…what about me?"

Chi Rong felt funny when he saw her so shocked and worried. He felt the suddenly urge to hug her and so he did. 

Lin Qianru's body went stiff. Before she had been nervous so she didn't feel much when he held her hand …but a hug was too strange for her since she had not come in such a close contact with a man for so many years.

However, she knew that she had to bear with it. 

From the above of her head came Chi Rong's gentle voice.

"Well you are soon going to be my wife. I can't bear to see you working like this."

Lin Qianru shook her head as she tried to pull away finally. 

"There is no problem with that. I can…"

However, Chi Rong interrupted her and said 

"In fact, I have some other work for you."

Lin Qianru frowned and looked at him in confusion. 

She was dazed when Chi Rong told her the work.

"Change this mansion. Change whatever you don't like and make it the way Roulan and Chenchen would like it."

When she registered what he said, she was moved. 

Tears filled her eyes and she blinked vigorously. 

Chi Rong sighed when he saw her like this. She ought to be moved by the slightest things. 

He only held her hand and told her that the Butler would call the people who will do everything. She just needed to order around and tell what was needed to be done. 

After the workers came and Chi Rong saw that she was busy, he finally left for the office. 

When he left, Lin Qianru took out her phone and called at the hospital. 

She talked to the staff and changed the delivery address of the report to her own apartment and she also told them the particular time when she would be at home to receive it. 

After doing all this, she finally sighed in relief. She knew that she was doing wrong to Chi Rong. She was perhaps the sinner to take advantage of him like this.  0

But she would hide it as long as she could.
