Lin Qianru To Get Married Soon

Lin Qianru wanted to know what her children thought about Chi Rong but the following day, they didn't say anything while having breakfast. 

She didn't know how she should ask them. 

Later at Chi Mansion, when Chi Rong asked her about the same, she could only shake her head. 

However, Chi Rong asked her to wait patiently and give them some time. 

It was not easy to accept a new person, let alone a new father. 

Lin Qianru understood. 

On the other hand, Mo Roulan was informed by He Jian that Chi Rong didn't have any bad intentions. 

However, one thing that He Jian got to know from the investigator was that Lin Qianru was actually working as a chef in Chi Rong's mansion. 

He knew that Mo Roulan didn't know about this but he didn't know if he should tell her or not. 

In the end, he decided not to do so. Because according to him, it should not matter anymore if Lin Qianru and Chi Rong married each other. 

When she returned from the office, Mo Roulan told her brother everything who nodded his head and asked his sister

"So should we tell Mom our decision?"

Mo Roulan was silent for a moment before she nodded her head. 

At dinner, she told her mother that they didn't have a problem with Chi Rong and she could remarry. They would try their best to accept him as a member of their family. 

Lin Qianru was happy. 

When she went back to her room, she saw that Chi Rong had called her so she called back immediately wondering if everything was right. 

"Mr. Chi, is everything alright?"

She asked as soon as the call connected.

"Yes"

Chi Rong answered and sighed when he heard her asking

"Then why did you call me so suddenly?"

He was silent for a moment before he accepted honestly 

"Because I wanted to talk to you."

Lin Qianru didn't know how she was supposed to respond. At such moments, she felt she was actually very cruel to Chi Rong. She could have completely destroyed his hopes by refusing him but she didn't do so. 

However, she was not even giving him herself wholly. She was using him. 

Was she any less than the man whom she had once loved? 

"Qianru…"

Chi Rong spoke again when he didn't hear her say anything. 

Lin Qianru came out of her trance. She didn't know what she should talk about but then she suddenly remembered something and said 

"Roulan and Chenchen said Yes."

  There was a long silence on the other side and then Chi Rong suddenly said in a somewhat blank voice

"They really said yes. I can't believe it."

He had actually thought that he would have to wait for a few months but he was proved wrong.

"I can't wait to marry you.'

In his excitement, he spoke out whatever he was thinking and feeling. Chi Rong had never been so out of control. 

However, he was nervous when he didn't hear any response from Lin Qianru. Just when he was about to call her name again, he heard her whisper 

"I too can't."

Chi Rong was so happy to hear these words that he couldn't express it. That night, he even discussed with Lin Qiianru about their marriage. 

When Lin Qianru told him that she wanted a very simple marriage. They could just go to the marriage bureau and get the certificate, he was slightly disappointed. 

He had wanted her to give her a grand marriage. 

But he accepted her wish. 

After some time, he cut the call asking her to rest. 

Chi Rong thought that Lin Qianru wanted to marry early because she also liked him. She also couldn't wait just as he couldn't wait but he didn't know everything. 

All in all, they decided to get the marriage certificate on Saturday which was just a day after tomorrow. 

Tomorrow, Chi Rong wanted to go to meet his uncle, with Lin Qianru, and tell him the truth. 

He had not told his uncle that Lin Qianru had two children. He had actually wanted to go alone but Lin Qianru insisted that she would accompany him.

In the morning, she left early after preparing breakfast for her children. 

As Mo Chen and Mo Roulan sat in the dining room, Mo Roulan heard her brother say 

"Jiejie, why am I feeling as if I had a daughter who no longer cares for me alone?"

Mo Roulan's lips twitched when she heard her brother's dramatic words. Actually, she herself felt like that. 

However, both of them needed to be reasonable. 

He Jian came soon to have breakfast and when he saw the silent brother and sister, he felt that they were not in a cheerful mood. 

He looked at his girlfriend and suddenly texted Chu Feng while to Mo Chen, he said suddenly

"Mo Chen, We can drop you off today if you …" want to go with us." 

He Jian didn't even need to finish when Mo Chen raised his head and nodded his head vigorously saying 

"Yes, I want to go with Brother Jian. Brother Jian is great." 

Mo Roulan was no longer surprised by her brother's attempt of currying favor with He Jian like a concubine. She had gotten used to of it. 

They dropped Mo Chen at school. 

However, when they reached the office building she was surprised to see a bouquet of roses in front of her. 

She looked at He Jian who smiled and said 

"Don't be sad."2

His grandmother had told him that girls like these things. And he felt proud when he saw Mo Roulan smiling while looking at the roses. 

However, He Jian didn't know that Mo Roulan smiled because she was moved by his words. He noticed that she was slightly upset. She had not expected him to know of this. 

She accepted the bouquet of roses and thanked him in a low voice. 

The roses stayed on her table inside the vase that used to be empty for the whole day. 

Whenever she looked at them, she couldn't help but smile.

'Don't be sad.'

She won't be sad.
