Wang Weimin Meets Lin Qianru

Late evening, Chi Rong talked to Mo Roulan and told her that Lin Qianru wants to talk to her and Chenchen. 

Since she was in New York, Mo Roulan and Mo Chen had to talk to Lin Qianru separately. She told her mother the same excuse she had used for Mo Chen. 

However, Lin Qianru was immediately worried when she heard that Mo Roulan was out of China alone. 

How could she not! Her daughter had never lived on her own. She had bought a house in the city just because she couldn't bear to leave Mo Roulan alone in the city when she was admitted to the University C.

Mo Roulan had to assure her mother again and again that she was alright and there was no need to worry. 

In the end, Chi Rong had to step forward and say that he can send someone to the place Mo Roulan was living to look out for her. 

Lin Qianru was immediately relieved when she heard this. 

After she hung up, she looked at Chi Rong and smiled slightly. Chi Rong was relieved to see this because it meant that she was not worried anymore. Although he felt guilty because of lying to her, he knew that he couldn't tell the truth as well. 

For the treatment to go well, they couldn't let Lin Qianru's emotions fluctuate much.

"Tomorrow is uncle's surgery."

Chi Rong told Lin Qianru as he peeled fruits for her. Lin Qianru looked at him immediately and said 

"Then you should stay with him tomorrow. I also don't need to undergo chemotherapy tomorrow."

Chi Rong looked at her and smiled before he nodded his head. 

He liked how understand Lin Qianru was. Both of them, his uncle and Lin Qiantu, were equally important to him. 

He didn't want to lose even a single of them. 

Having two of his close people suffering from such a grave disease had left him scared. Fortunately, Lin Qianru's treatment was showing some positive signs now. 

Hence, the next morning, after leaving a nurse by Lin Qianru's side, Chi Rong went to the ward his uncle was admitted. 

Lin Qianru really wished that everything would go well. Chi Rong was a very good man and she didn't wish to see him sad. 

Amidst all this, she was unaware that a huge disaster was awaiting her. 

The nurse had left only for a few moments to bring the lunch for Lin Qianru, it was then Wang Weimin entered the room. 

Seeing Lin Qianru's pale face as she leaned against the headrest with closed eyes, Wang Weimin felt his heart aching inside his chest. 

"Ruru…"

He called out gently and Lin Qianru who was on the bed stiffened immediately. 

She could never forget this voice. After all, this was the voice of the man whom she had loved unconditionally once...whose children she had carried not once but twice. 

Opening her eyes slowly, when she saw the man standing inside the room, she couldn't believe her eyes at all. 

"You…what are you doing here?"

Her voice came in almost a whisper and her face was paler than before. 

"Ruru…I..I…how are you feeling now?"

Wang Weimin asked with red eyes. He took a few steps forward in her direction, however, Lin Qianru shouted immediately 

"Don't come here. Leave!"

She didn't care about his purpose behind he coming here. But she knew that she didn't want him here. 

Wang Weimin was startled to see her behaving like this. He was silent for a moment before he said

"Ruru…I know you are …sick. I have talked a doctor. He is my friend. I came here to take you with me. …I know I have done many wrong things but …"

Wang Weimin felt so ashamed to say further but he knew he needed to. 

"Just come with me, Ruru. Everything will be fine. I will find the best doctor for you."

Lin Qianru was silent hearing him say everything. 

The memories of past flashed in front of her eyes and her heart went cold. Before she couldn't bear to see even a flicker of worry in his eyes but today even though he was standing there with tear filled eyes, she didn't feel anything for him. 

Perhaps the time had finally removed his traces from her heart. 

After he stopped talking, she said calmly

"Are you done? Then you can leave."

However, Wang Weimin didn't seem to hear anything. Only he knew which world he was living inside as he seemed to be so determined on the fact that Lin Qianru, the woman he had left behind so many years ago, would look at him again and come into his life foolishly. 

"Ruru…I know you are angry. But nothing is important than your health. I…I won't mind any punishment you will give me later on. Just come with me now. I have arranged everything."

His every word only disgusted Lin Qianru. She didn't like how he called her. 

She took a deep breath before she looked into his eyes and said strictly.

"I am very good here. Mr. Wang might not know but I am now married to some other man. He is a very good person who can take care of me. So you can leave from here."

Wang Weimin froze when he heard Lin Qianru's words. 

He was not aware until now that Lin Qianru had remarried already. 

Although he had seen that man by her side that day, he never believed that she could remarry. 

His Ruru would never forget him. He was so sure.

But she said that she was married to someone else. Something flashed across his mind and he immediately shook his head and said 

"That's not possible. We didn't divorce. How can remarry when you are still married to me!"

Lin Qianru looked at him as if he was a fool when she heard these words. 

"Perhaps you don't remember, Mr. Wang…But I had sent you the divorce papers after signing it the same day it reached to me."

Wang Weimin eyes narrowed in confusion. He …he never sent any divorce papers to her. 

"You are lying…"

He whispered and hearing his words Lin Qianru felt very furious. She could already feel the pain in her stomach and seeing Wang Weimin was making her more and more angry. 

"Just get out."

She couldn't help but shout loudly. 

"Ruru…"

Wang Weimin wanted to walk forward when he saw her holding her stomach but at this moment, the footsteps were heard and the door of the room opened suddenly. 

A soft voice which was full of worry was heard  0

"Mom, is everything alright?"

Lin Qianru was shocked when she heard this voice.

"Roulan!"

And Wang Weimin who heard her words also looked at the girl who was standing at the door. 

This girl…she was his daughter…Mo Roulan!
