Mo Roulan Meets Wang Weimin

Late at night after Lin Qianru had fallen asleep, Chi Rong had called Mo Roulan and told her that he would need to stay by his uncle's side who was undergoing surgery the next day. 

Mo Roulan never knew about Chi Rong's uncle's surgery. She was surprised but immediately told Chi Rong that he didn't need to worry about her mother. 

She would go to the hospital and stay outside the room just to ensure that her mother will be alright. 

After making this arrangement both of them were relieved. 

Since she didn't have anything to do in this new city, Mo Roulan could stay in the hospital for the entire day. And she really wished to stay there as she knew that she wouldn't be able to stay here as she would constantly think about her mother. 

The next day, when she reached the hospital, she realized that Chi Rong had still called for a nurse to stay by her mother's side. 

Mo Roulan smiled when she saw this. 

It was around afternoon that she decided to go and have a look at Chi Rong's uncle's side. Though she had been angry on Chi Rong for hiding from her about her mother's condition, she was aware that he had been taking care of her mother during this whole time solely. 

If there were chances of her mother getting treated today then it was solely because of Chi Rong. 

Then it would only be right for her to go and meet his uncle who was suffering from not any less grave disease. 

Thinking this, Mo Roulan went to ward Chi Rong had told her. Chi Rong had told her that she could find him in this ward just in case she needed him. 

However, she had not known that just as she left, the nurse would also leave to bring lunch for Lin Qianru. 

And hence Wang Weimin would get a very suitable opportunity to meet Lin Qianru. 

She returned soon as Chi Rong told her that his uncle was still inside the operation theater and the surgery was still ongoing. 

Hence, she decided to return after staying for some time. But when she returned, she heard a shout from the hospital room her mother was living in. 

Mo Roulan froze instantly and ran towards the door but she hesitated if she could open the door. 

What happened? Was the nurse not inside the room?

However, when she heard the next shout, Mo Roulan's hesitation disappeared altogether. At that moment, she was worried about her mother. 

So she opened the door. 

When she saw her mother's eyes that had tears as well as anger, Mo Roulan was confused …until her eyes fell on the man who was standing inside the room. 

The face was somewhat familiar to her…but she couldn't recognize the man. 

"Roulan, what are you doing here?!"

She heard her mother's question and immediately looked at her. Seeing the worry and panic in her eyes, Mo Roulan's heart sank down inside her chest. Chi Rong had told her that they couldn't let her mother stress. Remembering this, she was about to comfort her mother when she heard the man speaking

"Xiao Rou…is that you?"

Mo Roulan's face went blank and her body froze completely. 

Xiao Rou…there was only one person who called her this way and that was her father. 

Her eyes unconsciously went to the man again. Seeing his eyes that were full of fatherly love didn't make Mo Roulan feel anything. 

After a moment of silence, she silently looked away and walked to her mother. 

Lin Qianru was still shocked to see her daughter all of a sudden. 

Mo Roulan hugged her mother, placed her head on her chest, and comforted her like a child. 

"Mom… don't overthink. Everything is alright. Take deep breaths."

Lin Qianru did obey her. She breathed deeply and could feel herself calming down. Mo Roulan was relieved to see this.

At this moment, the nurse finally entered the room with lunch. Seeing the two unfamiliar people inside the room, she was baffled and asked in pure English.

"Who are you? What are you doing inside?"

Lin Qianru immediately held Mo Roulan's hand and said to the nurse

"She is my daughter."

The nurse looked at Mo Roulan and nodded her head and then she looked at Wang Weimin who was looking at Lin Qianru and Mo Roulan silently. 

Seeing that, Lin Qianru didn't give an explanation for him, the nurse frowned and asked her 

"Ma'am, do you know him as well?"

Lin Qianru didn't even look at Wang Weimin before saying coldly 

"No."

Wang Weimin's heart broke when he heard her words. 

The nurse looked at him suspiciously and said 

"Who are you? Tell the truth otherwise I will call the security."

Wang Weimin could handle himself and answer

"I came to visit my friend. His surgery was to be done today. I entered this room by mistake. Here is my permission slip."

What Wang Weimin said was also true. He had been entering the hospital to meet Chi Rong's uncle these days and hence he had a permission slip to enter the hospital. 

That's why the nurse no longer doubted him and said politely.

"Please leave the room. 

Though unwilling, Wang Weimin could only do so. 

He glanced at Lin Qianru and his daughter's back for one last time before he finally left the room. 

The nurse put the lunch on the bedside table and Mo Roulan immediately told her that she would feed her mother. The nurse nodded her head and said that she will come back after some time. 

After she had left, Lin Qianru immediately held her daughter's hand and looked at her with nervous eyes. 

Mo Roulan smiled when she saw this. Even if she wanted to stay angry at her mother for hiding such a big thing, she couldn't do so after seeing her like this. 

"Mom, let's have lunch. I am also hungry."

Lin Qianru immediately nodded her head. However, as she had her lunch, her eyes never left her daughter. She was just waiting for Mo Roulan to speak and scold her.

However, what she had been waiting for never happened. 

Her daughter looked calm and she was even smiling while taking care of her. Slowly and slowly, Lin Qianru's heart relaxed. 

It was good. She was relaxed to see that Mo Roulan didn't cry. She didn't want her daughter to be upset. 

After they were done, the nurse came back and said that she needed to give some injections and medicines to the patient and Mo Roulan had to leave. 

Mo Roulan nodded and looked at her mother.1

"Mom, I am just outside. You can call me if you need me, alright?"

"Hmm"

Lin Qianru hummed as she saw her daughter leaving the room. Perhaps it was because she saw her daughter after so long, she even forget the incident regarding Wang Weimin. 

She felt happy to see her daughter. 

While outside Mo Roulan was now standing in front of Wang Weimin who never left from there.
