Who is Zhuzhu?

"Zhuzhu…"

Mo Roulan frowned in confusion and looked at He Zhuang who was staring unblinkingly at the woman holding her hand. 

Before anyone could think anything, He Zhuang suddenly stepped forward and held the woman's arm and turned her in his direction to look at her face.

"Ahhh…ehhh…"

The woman started shouting again making the people in the corridor look at her but He Zhuang was too engrossed in looking at her face.

"Zhuzhu…"

He whispered again.

His eyes were filled with shock.

He looked at the woman's face which was marred by a fresh wound, then at her thin body…and his eyes slowly went red.

The woman was struggling to get out of his hold but He Zhuang looked as if he couldn't sense anything.

Mo Roulan was shocked when she saw a tear slipping down from his eyes.

And then He Zhuang hugged the woman tightly in his arms. Her face rested against his chest, his lips were in her hair as he whispered while crying

"Zhuzhu…I am so sorry Zhuzhu…"

He said this again and again while Mo Roulan realized that even the woman had stopped struggling and was now completely still in He Zhuang's arms.

No one knew what happened.

The woman suddenly went unconscious. When He Zhuang realized that, he picked her up in his arms and shouted for the doctor like a crazy man.

Mo Roulan with Chi Rong and the police inspector were standing a few steps away from the bed while He Zhuang was holding the woman's hand and stroking her hair continuously as the nurse put the needle in the woman's hand.

"She is afraid of those things…"

He even said that when he saw what the nurse was about to do. But the nurse said that it was urgent and since the woman was unconscious, she wouldn't really feel anything.

He Zhuang's eyes were filled with distress as he watched the nurse put the needle.

Mo Roulan was still trying to comprehend everything.

It was still the police inspector who walked to He Zhuang and asked in a low voice considering that there was a patient nearby.

"Mr. He, do you know this woman?"

He Zhuang finally moved his eyes away from the woman lying down on the bed and said something which shocked Mo Roulan to the core.

"She is my wife…He Mingzhu."

The police inspector also looked surprised when he heard this.

"How long it has been since she disappeared then? Did you file any complaint?"

He Zhuang was completely silent at these words. He closed his eyes suddenly. When he opened them they were emotionless and he told the inspector

"It is a long story, inspector. Can we talk later?"

The police inspector could see that He Zhuang was not in a good condition. He himself looked shocked at seeing his wife so he agreed considerately.

However, before leaving he called one of his subordinates and asked him to stay around to ensure that no one tries to harm the woman.

If she was He Zhuang's wife, then it could mean that He Zhing did it intentionally.

As long as they could collect evidence, He Zhing will get a server punishment for his wrongdoings.

Mo Roulan was shocked after she heard He Zhuang.

But she decided to leave them alone after seeing that his whole attention was on He Mingzhu.

After she stepped out of the room, she looked at Chi Rong and felt guilty again seeing the exhaustion on his face.

"Dad, you should go and rest. I am fine now."

Chi Rong looked at her and then said coldly.

"Since you are fine, I am leaving China now. I just came because I had promised my wife that I will take care of our children."

Mo Roulan was startled by his cold and detached behavior all of a sudden.

"Dad…"

But before she could even finish what she wanted to say, Chi Rong had already turned around and started to walk away.

Mo Roulan looked at his back with a lost expression. A few moments later, she sighed and shook her head.

Even though Chi Rong still looked angry, she was relieved.

He still cared for her. Otherwise, he would have never come here.

She will apologize to him as soon as this ends and she will not stop bothering him until he forgives her. 

Mo Roulan smiled when she thought this. At the same time, she felt disappointed again remembering that Chi Rong didn't tell her that her mother had moved her fingers.

If it was not for Mo Chen then she would have never come to know of this.

It seemed that he was really angry so she would have to work hard.

But she was ready.

After all Chi Rong had done for her and her family, she could understand his anger and she was ready to bear it as well.

Lost in her own thoughts, Mo Roulan stepped inside the room only to hear He Jian's cold voice.

"Where is Lanlan?"

"Mr. He, Mrs. He must be around. You should lie down and have rest."

The nurse said to He Jian who was trying to get up from the bed. Mo Roulan's eyes widened upon seeing this scene and she immediately walked to the bed and made He Jian lie down on the bed.

"What are you doing?"

She said in a reprimanding voice.

"Your wound is healing. It will open up if you will move so much."2

He Jian however ignored her words and asked instead

"Where were you? You said that you will be at my side when I will wake up."

"I was…"

Mo Roulan stopped amidst her words suddenly.

It will not be good to tell He Jian everything that happened outside. She thought so she changed her words and said

"The inspector came and wanted to ask me a few questions so I had to leave."

He Jian nodded his head though the frown from his forehead still didn't vanish. He held Mo Roulan's hand as if he was afraid that she will leave again.

Mo Roulan's heart melted at these actions.

But at the same time, the doubts that she had been ignoring before started to shadow her heart again.

Could she really stay with He Jian and keep her family safe at the same time?
