2Shen Yiling had not expected that she would be caught. 

In fact, even when she was caught, she had not expected that Shi Fengju would be merciless enough to send her to prison straight.

Shen Yiling still had hppes of getting He Jian even after she heard the news of him getting married to Mo Roulan. 

She thought that she could still make them divorce. 

However, when she attended one banquet to meet He Jian, she heard someone saying that Mo Roulan was pregnant. 

Shen Yiling was scared when she heard that. 

If Mo Roulan bore an heir to He family then she would have no chance left. 

However, she had no way to reach Mo Roulan. She followed her but Mo Roulan was always well protected.

Neither did she get any chance to get closer to He Jian. 

In frustration, she called Wang Weimin saying she wanted to see Mo Roulan. Even though not by blood Mo Roulan was her sister because of how she had called Wang Weimin Dad for so many years.

But Wang Weimin refused her sternly. 

"Stay away from Mo Roulan, Yiling. I don't want you even near her shadow. I know you have loved He Jian always but he is married now. Go and find someone who will love you back."

Saying this, Wang Weimin had hung up. 

Shen Yiling was furious. 

How could he talk to her like that!

He had always put her first before. Though it was because she had been the only child who accepted him. 

But still, she was furious that now he was protecting Mo Roulan. 

Hence, she made this plan. 

But she never thought how she would escape. She thought that she would be able to escape easily once Mo Roulan would fall down because everyone attention would be on her. 

However, when had she expected that Shi Fengju would suddenly come there and save Mo Roulan. 

"Why did you save her?"

She blurted out with gritted teeth. 

Shi Fengju sneered coldly as he continued walking. 

He heard her words very clearly. 

He couldn't believe that he believed her so easily in the past life. 

He had been such a fool. 

Without looking back at her, Shi Fengju strode inside the police station. He would make sure that Shen Yiling resides on the other side of the bars for the rest of her life. 

He had helped her a lot so he had all the accounts of her wrongdoings as well.

Shen Zhilan returned from the office with a completely upset face. 

When she stepped inside the house, she saw her father seated in the living room silently. 

She was confused to see him so lost and walked to him to ask

"Dad, what are you thinking?"

Grandfather Shen came out of his trance and looked at his daughter. 

Zhilan…"

He spoke his daughter's name in a low yet serious voice. Holding her hand, he pulled her to sit down beside him. 

"I wanted to tell you something."

Shen Zhilan was also very worried and wanted to tell her father about something but seeing her father's somber face, she shut her mouth and listened to him before. 

"Zhilan…I don't know why but Yiling suddenly seems to be a stranger to me."

The words made Shen Zhilan frowned and she asked in confusion.

Grandfather Shen sighed and told his daughter whatever he had heard from Shen Yiling's mouth in front of Wang Weimin.

He saw how she took money from him and her mother saying that she needed books but he never saw her coming inside the house with books in her hands. He even checked her room and he had been shocked to see new dresses in her almirah which were costly. 

Grandfather Shen doubted that Shen Yiling used that money on buying clothes and cosmetics instead. 

He actually didn't have any problem. He could understand that as a girl she desired for such things. She had been living in luxury before and now she no longer had such things. 

So he tried to understand his granddaughter. 

But a few months back, he saw her with a boy stepping out of the restaurant. He didn't mind it. 

Instead, he was happy that his granddaughter was trying to move on from He Jian. 

But then only a month later, he saw her stepping out of the same restaurant with a different boy. 

This time, he stayed there. 

He saw as the boy bought Shen Yiling many things from the shopping mall. 

He saw how she stuffed them inside her bag and then came home and lied to him and Shen Zhilan, how she was tired from studying all the day in library. 

Grandfather Shen didn't mind if his granddaughter was spoiled and desired luxurious things. 

What he minded was that she fooling them! 

She was not only fooling them, she was also fooling many boys. 

Because from that day, he started to follow her out and saw how she didn't even go to college sometimes and roamed around with different boys every day. 

As if it was not enough, he even heard her talking to the boy about him and Shen Zhilan. 

His blood boiled when he heard her say that she was sometimes even beaten by Shen Zhilan and him.
