Seeing the Leviathan coming out of the portal, no one was able to say anything for a while. It was the biggest creature that Alex had ever seen and in the last few weeks, he had the honour to even fight a wyvern.

The Leviathan floated in the sky and Chitauri soldiers were hanging on it. Sensing the right moment, they jumped off from the Leviathan to the buildings as people's dreadful screams filled the whole city.

'Stopping that will be hard.'

He thought and looked around.

There were dead bodies lying around him. Some people were killed by the Chitauri, some by the falling debris and some were just unlucky.

But he was sure that if he didn't do much, more people would be the same and even if they managed to defeat the Chitauri, it would be a pyrrhic victory at most.

"Stark, are you seeing this?" Steve asked in his earpiece.

-Seeing. Still working on believing. Where's Banner? Has he shown up yet?

Tony asked and Steve shook his head.

"Don't know. Probably on his way."

-Just keep me posted. I will try to do something about that thing, whatever it is.

After saying that, Steve looked at the rest of the Avengers. In the sky, Chitauri chariots were everywhere and every minute, more and more people were dying.

"What are we gonna do about this?"

Clint asked, glancing at Natasha and Steve.

"We have civilians trapped in there." Steve said and at that moment, some chariots flew just above their heads. On top of one of them was the person who had started all of this. "Loki!"

Suddenly, Alex suddenly spoke up.

"I can do some things."

"What?" 

The three of them looked at him as he suddenly took out a book out of nowhere. The book was black and was tattered. On top of it, there were strange symbols drawn on it and it gave out an eerie feeling.

'Book of Dark summoning!'

Alex smiled, thinking about the item he had gotten from the Tower of Eraskis as a reward. 

He opened it and started reading out some words written in it. The words were incomprehensible but Alex was able to speak it out loud. As he read out every word, the book started shining in red and floated in front of him.

"What are you doing? Some kind of voodoo?" Clint asked and just then, summoning symbols appeared out of nowhere in front of them.

From those symbols, beams of green light shot out and those lights suddenly took shape and became skeletons. 

Those skeletons let out a scream and held swords, spears and even guns in their hands. Leading them was a big skeleton warrior wearing armour with a sword and shield in its hands.

"Are those… friendly?" Natasha asked, not able to believe her eyes. She was almost ready to shoot those undead if they tried to move towards them.

"Yeah, they are called the Skeleton army and I have full control over them. They should be able to protect the civilians from the Chitauri for a while." Alex explained while chuckling, enjoying their reactions.

"I won't turn into one of them if they bite me right?" Clint asked.

"They are not undead. Don't worry they are–"

As he was speaking, some Chitauri soldiers suddenly approached them. Steve was ready to throw his shield but before he could do anything, his Skeleton army rushed towards the Chitauri.

One of the gunmen fired a force bolt against them while the others jumped on top of them, using their swords to slash at the Chitauri.

The Chitauri tried to fight back but their attacks were blocked by the Skeleton warrior who used it's shield to block the ranged attacks and then, took the soldiers head by a slash of his sword.

Seeing this, Natasha muttered.

"Now they look a bit cuter."

"They would be a huge help to you. I have told them to listen to you two and help out." Alex said and Clint looked at him with a confused expression.

"When did you tell them?"

"Oh, they are mind controlled." After saying that, he looked at Steve and said, "We need to move and help out the others."

Steve nodded and stepped on his jet board and he took off. Everywhere, there was chaos and it was hard to move around.

"Do you have something like those Skeleton army? We would need all the firepower required for the Chitauri." Steve asked while using his Shield to push a Chitauri soldier off his flying chariot. Unsurprisingly, the shield landed right in his hands after that.

"Don't worry, I did say I was calling some friends. They will handle some areas around New York!"

In Hell's kitchen, New York

The scene was of complete chaos. Suddenly, the sky had teared open and from it, aliens had come through, destroying everything in its path.

"Help me! Help!"

"Fuck! The end of the world is here!"

"Get out! I need to reach my family!"

In the middle of it was Matt who had already been informed of this by Alex. Now hearing the cry for help, he couldn't help but frown.

'Matt, listen to me, I'm in the middle of a big mess and soon, the whole of New York would be too. I'm working with some people and we are trying to go after a God who wants to unleash an alien army on New York. I know it sounds crazy but it's all real. I don't know if I would be able to stop him but if the alien army does come, be ready and help out the people in Hell's kitchen.'

He thought of the call he had with his friend as he rushed towards the sound of screaming. Crazy things were happening and he needed to save his neighbourhood.

He stopped when he sensed a man running through the streets. He was crying and besides him were things that he had never sensed before.

They were not humans and felt like machines but they were living too at the same time.

'Crazy times really!'

He jumped in front of them while frowning.
