I lay on the grass in the clearing of training ground 2…2

'Well… what am I supposed to do now! If the village decides to go through with it there is nothing I can do anyway… What about Temari...'

I actually didn't know how to react to the situation… 'I crippled one of her brothers and her second one is sporting 2 fake limbs because of me… if this thing happens I'll be soo screwed...'

I lay there for a while just living in my thoughts until I sense Kurenai-sensei and Yugao-nee approaching my location…

'Guess they know...'

I stood up and walk towards them when suddenly Yugao-nee hugs me tight and started crying… 'that's a little extreme for a reaction… right pregnancy hormones...'

"It's alright Yugao-nee don't cry..." I started to rub her back as her sobs slowly subsided and she let me go…

"So I am guessing you guys have heard about the proposal..." I ask them as Yugao-nee finally got control of her emotions…

"Yeah, I am sorry Tobi-kun!" Kurenai-sensei hugged me next and I felt a little lighter after this…

'Right, I still have my friends and family… it will be okay!'

"What do you think will happen!" I ask Kurenai-sensei while sitting back down in the shade of the tree…

"I think Konoha might accept this after a few more clauses! Suna is looking to get hold of your bloodline but to be true they already have that bloodline through Gaara… or should have if Gaara was not so bloodthirsty… They are right about one thing though, neither Suna nor Konoha can afford a war with Iwa and Kumo accumulating power..."

*sigh*

"Thank you, Kurenai-sensei" I gave her a grateful look before closing my eyes and lying down...

"Do Shino and Hinata know?" I continue the conversation as I lay there and Yugao-nee started stroking my head…

"No, the younger generation do not know! Toad-san told us so we can find you and talk to you!"

'And probably judge how I'll take the news...'

"It's alright, I guess, if it happens, then they will know in due time anyway… this week has been a rough ride..."

We continued chatting about random things in order to distract ourselves…

'I didn't expect to be here...'

I was currently sitting at the negotiation table instead of monitoring it from the shadows, Temari was sitting in front of me, there was little emotion on her face but upon seeing me sitting in front of her, a little bit of rage was leaking through!!

"So then Danzo-san have you thought about our proposal!" Chito-san started the talks today, I detected a hint of anxiety in her as she eagerly looked forward to a reply…

"We might if there are some changes done to the alliance clauses!!" Danzo-sama continued in his same monotonous tone…

'Well, I guess my fate's sealed…' I turn to look at Temari and she also had a resigned expression on her face…

'Well! At least she's pretty...'

I chuckle inwardly as the talks continued between the elders and we both just sat there like figurines or Shouji pieces for them to play...

"...Suna accepts your demands, Danzo-san..."

"Then, Konoha accepts your alliance request..."

All the members of the party shook hands and I stood in front of Temari, neither of us relenting but seeing that everyone else is ending their greeting I sighed and extended my hand forward…

'You don't need to glare at my hand, just get this over with...'

We shook hands, and while I was admiring how soft her skin is our eyes met… there was still fire in her eyes as she subtly glared at me and I couldn't help but smirk a little…

'She's quite a character though...'

We turn away from each other and went back towards our own delegation… The Suna's delegation was led to the room where Gaara was kept as I went back to Taichou and asked, "How is Gaara! I disabled him, I don't think Suna will like that!"

"Let this be another Lesson Tobi, Jinchurikis are virtually indestructible, as long as one is breathing and still has a demon inside them, they would be fine after enough rest and treatment!!"

'... so gaining a tailed beast gives you access to limitless chakra, advanced regeneration, and specific abilities of the tailed beast itself… do they have like an auction or something, I totally wanna buy one...'

"You are dismissed for the day, Tobi! Meet me tomorrow at the ANBU headquarters at 7 AM"

"Yes, Taichou!" I shunshin out of the room and arrive on top of the Fourth's head…

'You sacrificed yourself and your son for the village, Lord Fourth! The least I can do to maintain that peace is this…'

I sat there silently watching Konoha and the construction going on around the village when I sense Danzo-sama making his way to talk to me…

I went down on a knee and said, "Danzo-sama!"

"Get up Tobi!" I stood up and look up towards the half bandaged man standing in front of me…

"I have a very important mission for you!"

"Whatever you want Danzo-sama!"

"The talks will continue after they have monitored Gaara's condition, the date of the marriage will be determined and you will probably have 3-5 years before the day as you are still kids! What I want you to do is kill Temari after the birth of your first child and mask it as an accident!"

'...what!'

"I am sorry Danzo-sama but I do not..."

Before I could say anything I felt a bit of Deja-vu and a vaguely familiar message appeared in front of me!
