"What should I call you?" Han Ye asked. He never named anyone in his span of infinite life.

"I am darkness, emptiness. I am something that is feared by everyone," Han Ye said. "So you will be my opposite. You will be the one who is well loved by everyone, and nobody will ever hate you."

"Your name is now Bai. That means white, because I will be the darkness, and you will be the light."

After deciding on the name, Han Ye was satisfied with his creation. 

"It took me so long to create you. So, give me some good entertainment, okay?"

Han Ye created a new world. This one he created meticulously because this would be the place where his rival lived. So he created a unique world with cultivations, monsters, and a few realms within that world. 

After he was done, Han Ye put his rival, Bai, into the world, and Bai was born as a baby to a pair of cultivators. 

Bai's parents named him Bai Shijue. But he also had a small name only his parents knew, Bai Yunyu. 

Han Ye could spend his time creating a new world out of boredom. But this time, he wanted to see what his rival would do. So he watched Bai Shijue grow from a baby to a young adult. 

At 900 years old, Young adult Bai Shijue became the new sect leader of Plum Blossom Immortal Sect, the original cultivation sect in that world and the strongest. 

He was well-loved by all his disciples and was worshiped as the God of Purity and Prosperity by the people in the mortal realm.

He was untainted, with all the goodness in him, which interested Han Ye so much. 

Han Ye kept watching Bai Shijue's life from when he woke up until he went to sleep. He didn't miss one second and started wondering about some of Bai Shijue's actions.

"Look at him trying to revive a dead squirrel with his power just because he accidentally killed it during training in the Forest of Lost Mist," Han Ye commented. He found it stupid, but Bai Shijue looked serious until that squirrel finally recovered and was alive. 

Bai Shijue sighed in relief and released the squirrel before returning to training. 

Han Ye watched everything in confusion. He'd just snap his finger and make the squirrel vanish into thin air if it was him. 

After all, it was just one dead squirrel. It wouldn't change a thing in this world. 

But that action made Han Ye even more engrossed in watching Bai Shijue. He entered the world and started following Bai Shijue everywhere as an invisible entity. 

Han Ye followed Bai Shijue to eat, sleep, manage his sect, help the mortals, and train to improve his skill.

He also watched Bai Shijue taking a bath in the clear lake. 

He watched Bai Shijue take a bath once or twice, which didn't disturb him.

Because Han Ye was the one who created Bai Shijue, including his skin and body, he just saw Bai Shijue as a toy instead of a living being for a while.

But after following him closely for years, Han Ye started feeling weird when he saw Bai Shijue's fully naked body. 

He felt his lower half start hardening, and he found Bai Shijue's body to be… very attractive.

His skin, his gorgeous face, his perfectly sculpted body. Everything about him attracted Han Ye so much that he couldn't take his off of Bai Shijue anymore. 

"Why is he so attractive now?" Han Ye asked himself. "He's just one of my creations. I can make a thousand more versions of Bai Shijue. But this one…."

"This one is special…." Han Ye mumbled while he kept watching Bai Shijue. 

God Han Ye wanted to get closer to Bai Shijue and talk to him. He wanted Bai Shijue to notice him. After all, they were supposed to be rivals initially, right?

Thus, Han Ye used momentum when Bai Shijue started his mission to find a successor for his sect.

He was still young and would be able to lead the sect for centuries to come.

But he was afraid that misfortune might befall him and the sect would fall into disarray as the sect elders fought to be the new sect leader. 

Thus, Bai Shijue had to find someone to be the heir to his position. 

Of course, he knew he could find a female cultivator to marry and produce an heir. But he had no intention of being involved in that kind of debauched activity.
