As Long as You’re All Right

Long Sijue turned and left the ward. Su Qianxun's gaze fell upon her younger brother. Su Jiye suddenly raised his head and looked at the man who was heading out.1

"Jiye?" Su Qianxun was somewhat surprised. Her younger brother was actually showing some reaction again.

Su Jiye turned around and lay down with his back facing her. Su Qianxun felt a little helpless. He was throwing a tantrum again.

The moment Long Sijue walked through the door, Mu Bai walked over from the opposite side. He swung his fist at Long Sijue, but Long Sijue lifted his hand and grabbed it without any effort.

Mu Bai wanted to pull his fist back but realized that he could not move at all. He was rather surprised by the man's strength! 

"Anything?" Long Sijue lifted his other hand and removed the cigarette between his lips as he stared expressionlessly at Mu Bai. 

"Are you Qianxun's boyfriend?" Mu Bai pulled back his fist forcefully, and this time, Long Sijue let it go. 

"What do you think?" Long Sijue stared coldly at the man before him and curled his lips up sarcastically. 

"Qianxun's a good girl. She's not the kind of woman you can toy with. If she owes you money, I can pay you back on her behalf. Or you can just state how much you want!" Mu Bai stood in front of him. 

"Get lost!" Long Sijue spat out those words coldly. His gaze had turned supremely cold. 

Mu Bai's expression changed all of a sudden. He never thought that the man would actually be so unreasonable. 

With an expressionless face, Long Sijue bypassed him and left. Mu Bai clenched his fists tightly, and rage was burning in his chest. He knew for sure that this man definitely would not cherish the young woman.

When Mu Bai returned to the ward, Su Qianxun was talking patiently to Su Jiye. When she heard the sound of the door opening, Su Qianxun's body turned stiff and she became extremely uncomfortable. She felt so embarrassed that she just wanted to disappear on the spot.

"Doctor Mu… thank you for yesterday." Su Qianxun stood up and thanked him with her head lowered. She clutched her hands together in anxiety.

"Why didn't you come to me when you were having a hard time?" Mu Bai asked anxiously. 

Why? Because she never wanted to trouble anyone, and because when she was forced into a dead end by those people, she happened to be in Long Sijue's territory. At that moment, only he could save her and Jiye.

"Why don't you continue talking to Jiye? Call me if you need anything." Mu Bai stared at her for a few seconds, then turned around and left.
