I’m Getting Married

Su Qianxun was in an extremely terrible mood right now. Those horrible people hurt her kind and sweet family and trampled on her hopes and dreams without mercy!1

As she walked down the street in a daze, her mobile phone rang. She only realized it after a while. She took a look at the screen and immediately answered the call.

As Su Qianxun had just found out that those wicked people changed her preference in the university application form, her hands were still shivering with rage when she answered the phone. 

"Hey, Mian Mian. Where have you been lately? I've been worried sick!"

"I'm in a bar now. Come over and have a drink with me." Gu Mian's voice was filled with despair, which was uncharacteristic of her.

Su Qianxun took a cab to the bar. She was worried that if she asked the driver to send her to the bar, the driver from Jin Garden would turn her down. 

When she arrived at the bar, Gu Mian was already tipsy. The moment Gu Mian saw Su Qianxun, she started to laugh. "Qianxun, you're here. Be happy for me and wish me luck, because I'm getting married!"

"What are you talking about? Who are you going to marry?" Su Qianxun sat down and gazed at her with concern.

"A man!" Gu Mian picked up the wine glass before her and continued to drink. 

"Stop drinking. You're drunk!" Su Qianxun reached over to stop her. 

"No! I'm not drunk. I can keep drinking. I'll keep drinking! It's just marriage, right? I'll marry whoever it is— be it golden toad or an ordinary frog."

Gu Mian lifted her wine glass and emptied everything into her mouth. When Su Qianxun saw how upset Gu Mian was, she did not try to stop her again. If getting drunk makes Gu Mian feel better, it was best to leave her be.

To be honest, Su Qianxun was rather envious of Gu Mian, for she did not even have the luxury to get drunk! 

No matter what happened, she could only brace through the storm for her younger brother's sake. She had to be courageous and determined in the face of adversity till the end of time! 

In the end, Gu Mian got so drunk that she blacked out. Just as Su Qianxun planned to bring her home, a commotion suddenly erupted at the entrance of the bar.

Two groups of bodyguards marched through the crowd in the bar where everyone was dancing drunkenly. They forced the crowd to part and make way for Long Sijue. The man walked in with a cigarette between his fingers. His devilishly handsome face, angular facial features, and sexy and sturdy body emanated an air recklessness.

The people around him were stunned by his aura. It did not matter if they were drunk or not. Everyone thought that they were hallucinating, because they were looking at the most handsome and flawless man they had ever seen!

When Su Qianxun spotted Long Sijue, her heart sank. 'I'm scr*wed. I took a cab here to meet Gu Mian without telling him. He's definitely going to fly into a rage.

When Su Qianxun thought of how aggressive he was in bed every night, she could feel her legs go limp. Su Qianxun glanced at Gu Mian, who was already drunk and dozing off with her head on the table, and she felt a quiver in her chest.

Su Qianxun even forgot what she was supposed to do. Instead, she stared stupidly at the stony-faced man as he strode towards her. His thin lips were slightly curled into a cold smile. "What's her name again?"

A shrill male voice rang out and interrupted Su Qianxun. Tang Zui, who was walking behind Long Sijue in a relaxed and nonchalant manner, suddenly stepped forward. He fixed his eyes on the drunk girl's side profile.

Su Qianxun was startled. She did not expect such a huge reaction from Tang Zui. She glanced at Long Sijue and then at Tang Zui. She asked, "Mian Mian's my friend. What's wrong?" 

"Gu… Mian!" Tang Zui said with difficulty, as though he was forcing those two words out of his throat.
