"Wait… should I contact your family members and ask them to come over?" Seeing that she was alone, the doctor was quite concerned. 

"It's fine. I can go home on my own." Gu Mian thanked the doctor for his kindness. She forced herself out of bed and left the Emergency Room. 

Tang Zui could not figure out why he kept coming to the hospital. He tried to convince himself that he was there to visit Long Sijue, not Gu Mian. In fact, he could not care less whether that woman was dead or alive. 

After Gu Mian left the hospital building and was waiting for a cab, she suddenly felt dizzy and almost blacked out. 

A pair of strong arms enveloped her. She raised her head and saw Tang Zui's face. His eyebrows were slightly furrowed. 

Gu Mian immediately wanted to push him away, but she did not have the strength to do so at all. He barely budged when she tried to shove him. 

"What are you doing here?" Tang Zui noticed that she was frail, and it seemed like she was about to faint. He gradually scrunched up his eyebrows. 

"I'm going home. I'm waiting for the cab," Gu Mian said flatly. 

"Where's the family servant?" Tang Zui saw her pale drawn face and grew frustrated for no reason.

"Young master, why are you here?"
