Once Su Qianxun finished speaking, she picked up her pace and stalked off. Qiao Yiren's face was purple with rage. She could not chase after the young woman, for she was wearing high heels and might sprain her ankles if she were to walk too fast.0

"Qianxun, Qianxun..." Su Qianxun heard a familiar voice. When she turned around and saw Gu Mian running towards her, she was pleasantly surprised.

"Mian Mian, you're finally here! That's awesome!" Su Qianxun immediately ran towards Gu Mian and grabbed her hand excitedly. 

"Hm. I'm very glad too. This is really great, we will be able to hang out again." Gu Mian tightened her grip around Su Qianxun's hands happily.

"Do you need to register to enrol into the university?" Su Qianxun thought that since Gu Mian was a new student, she would need to go through the registration process.

"I have no idea. Where should I go?" There was a clueless, puzzled look on Gu Mian's face. She knew nothing right now. The only thing she had received was a phone call that informed her of her admission to the university.

"Follow me." Su Qianxun held Gu Mian by the hand and guided her towards the registration office. 

As Qiao Yiren entered campus, she glared at the two young women who were walking away hand in hand. A hint of disdain flashed past her eyes. 'Hmph. They're just two pathetic, disgraced b*tches.' She heard from her father that things were not going well for the Gu family. As it seemed, they were about to go bankrupt.

By the time Su Qianxun and Gu Mian arrived at the registration office, the door was shut. Su Qianxun knocked on the door for a long while but no one responded.

"Is nobody in there?"

"I don't think so."

Just as Su Qianxun was about to call the office on the phone, someone opened the door. Zhou Ji appeared at the doorway. He furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at the two young women on the doorstep. When his gaze fell upon Su Qianxun's face, his expression became slightly unfriendly. 

"Hi, Student Council President Zhou, I've brought my friend over for programme registration," Su Qianxun spoke very politely. She did not harbor any romantic feelings towards this fellow student who had pursued her for two years.

Zhou Ji glanced at the young woman beside Su Qianxun expressionly and said, "Come in."

Gu Mian tugged at Su Qianxun gently and directed an inquiring gaze at her. Su Qianxun shook her head slightly and guided her friend into the office. 

When the two of them walked in, they realized that there was another person in the office. The campus belle, Qin Mengge, was sitting in the chair behind the office desk. One of the buttons near the collar of her shirt was unfastened.

When Qin Mengge saw Su Qianxun, the expression on her face became hostile. She then looked at Gu Mian. 'Who is this girl? Why is she so pretty as well? Su Qianxun alone was already too much to handle, and now there's another one!"

"What are you guys here for?" Zhou Ji asked. His gaze lingered on Su Qianxun the entire time.

"My friend, Gu Mian, was admitted into the university. She is here to register herself."

"Where is your letter of admission?"

"I only received a phone call. There was no physical letter. Due to some personal issues, I have not been able to come over until now," Gu Mian answered. 

"Hehe, do you think that this university belongs to your family, and that you can come over whenever you please? We can't process your registration because it's way overdue. Get out of here!" Qin Mengge leaned back in the office chair with a smug look on her face. 

"Who do you think you are? Are you a staff here? What makes you think that you can chase us out?" Displeased, Gu Mian glared at this unreasonable woman.

"Qin Mengge, even if you're part of the student council, you are merely a committee member in the art and literature department. What makes you think that you can sit in this chair?"

There was a look of contempt on Su Qianxun's face as well. This woman had always been provoking her, and she had never responded. But now she would not stomach this for Mian Mian's sake!

"You..." Qin Mengge was so furious that her face turned red. 'How dare these two b*tches talk to me like that!'
