"Shouldn't you be a little more sincere when you're thanking someone?" Tang Zui turned and stared at her.

Gu Mian froze for a moment before she quickly extended her hand to take the towel from Tang Zui. "I'll wipe your hair for you."

However, as though she suddenly thought of something, she immediately withdrew her hand and looked nervously at him. "Can-Can I?"

When Tang Zui saw how careful she was being, he felt agitated for some reason. But he did not know why!

Tang Zui shoved the towel into Gu Mian's hand and sat down. After Gu Mian took the towel, she started drying Tang Zui's hair earnestly.

Gu Mian tugged lightly at Tang Zui's hair with her small hands, and Tang Zui could feel how soft they were. Only then did he feel slightly more at ease.

None of them spoke a word, and the only sounds that lingered in the room were the soft rhythm of their breaths. When Gu Mian saw that Tang Zui's hair was almost completely dry, she withdrew her hands. She was about to put the towel away when Tang Zui suddenly grabbed her hand, dragged her towards the bed and climbed on top of her.

Gu Mian sucked in a sharp breath. She looked a little anxiously at the man on top of her and said, "I-I haven't showered yet."

"Doesn't matter. You smell really good." Tang Zui's voice was a little hoarse. He slowly lowered his head and buried his face against her neck.

Gu Mian was so nervous that her entire body stiffened. Tang Zui was breathing heavily, and the air he exhaled was terrifyingly hot. Gu Mian's breathing, too, became heavier and heavier.

Tang Zui landed a kiss on her neck. He then slowly slid downwards as he left a trail of kisses on the fabric of her blouse. Gu Mian felt super flustered. She really wanted to let out a shrill scream and flee, but she knew that she was not in a position to do so. She had no choice but to let Tang Zui do whatever he wanted as she clutched the sheets tightly.

When Su Qianxun woke up the following day, Long Sijue was already dressed. He walked over to the bed, took his wristwatch from the bedside table and wore it.

From the beginning to the end, he did not spare the young woman on the bed a single glance. Su Qianxun pursed her lips tightly. Right before he was about to leave, she suddenly grabbed his hand and tightened her grip on it.

Long Sijue froze. He then turned and stared coldly at her. Su Qianxun stood up abruptly. She then looked at him with a determined gaze and said, "We have signed a childbirth agreement, and I have to stay with you throughout the duration of the agreement. So, you shouldn't be messing with other women either. Or else, you would be violating the contract!"

When Long Sijue heard this, he suddenly withdrew his hand forcefully. As his hand slipped out of the young woman's grip, her heart sank.

"Why? Are you not done using me yet?" Long Sijue smiled mockingly.

Su Qianxun froze when she heard what he said. Long Sijue was about to turn and leave, but the young woman ran towards him and wrapped her arms around him. "What do you mean by this?" 

"It has only been a few days. Don't tell me that you have forgotten what you said when you were outside the hotel!"

Su Qianxun suddenly remembered the time Gu Mian asked him if she liked Long Sijue the night they had dinner at the hotel. 'What did I tell Gu Mian? I don't really remember. I only remember denying my feelings for him…"

Su Qianxun slowly let him go, walked towards the bed and sat down. She said bitterly, "You were with your fiancee that night. What could I have said? Even if I do like you for real, do you think that I was in a position to admit it?"

"What were you saying!?" Long Sijue turned abruptly and looked at her. But he calmed down after a moment.

'She's only saying this to me right now because she still finds me useful.'

"I was saying that-"

"Enough!"

Long Sijue suddenly cut her off. He lifted the young woman up and walked into the bathroom. Su Qianxun was dumbfounded once again. She did not know what on earth he was trying to do.
