Long Sijue suddenly released her, immediately turned and walked away. Su Qianxun stared at him as he left furiously. She quickly chased after him. However, due to their particularly rough lovemaking last night, her legs were still sore and limp. She could not possibly walk as fast as he could.

By the time she ran to the hospital entrance, Long Sijue had already left in his car. 

Su Qianxun felt a tightness in her chest and an ache in her heart. But she could not chase after him now. She had to take care of her younger brother and bring him home first.

Xia Chuxi was already unconscious. When Xia Xinruo and Qiao Yiren rushed to the scene, Qiao Yiren said to Xia Xinruo purposefully, "It must be Su Qianxun, that little sl*t, who caused your older brother to faint."

Xia Xinruo heard what she said and instantly burst with rage. She stood up and went to teach Su Qianxun a lesson.

Only when she saw this did Qiao Yiren call some nurses over to help carry Xia Chuxi back to his ward while she stayed behind to watch the scene unfold.

As Su Qianxun headed back into the hospital in a dejected manner, she sensed that someone was stomping towards her furiously. By the time she raised her head and saw Xia Xinruo, the latter had already lifted her hand and swung it at her. 

Su Qianxun immediately grabbed Xia Xinruo's forearm and shoved her away. "What the h*ll are you doing?"

"Su Qianxun, you sl*t. My older brother is already done with you, but shameless as you are, you still won't let him go. Now you even caused him to get injured and faint. I'll avenge my older brother today!" Xia Xinruo aimed at Su Qianxun and tried to strike her again.

Su Qianxun was already in a particularly awful mood and there was nowhere to vent her frustration. When Xia Xinruo's hand swung at her once again, Su Qianxun beat her to it and slapped her across the face.

Su Qianxun had learned a lot of things from her previous experience. When she fought, she learned that her first attack ought to be particularly vicious so that the opponent could not fight back. Therefore, with just one slap, she struck Xia Xinruo so hard that the latter fell on the floor. Xia Xinruo was startled. When she realized what just happened, she cried out loud and started bawling like a baby. 

Su Qianxun took a cold look at her, turned and immediately walked away.

She and Xia Xinruo had always had an antagonistic relationship. Xia Xinruo used to like Su Qianxun's older brother. In the beginning, she kept begging Su Qianxun to set her up with her older brother. However, Su Mochen already had a childhood sweetheart. As his younger sister, Su Qianxun would never sabotage her brother's relationship with his lover. 

Because of that, Su Qianxun and Xia Xinruo almost became mortal enemies. Xia Xinruo even routinely sowed discord between Su Qianxun and Xia Chuxi. As a result, the latter often tried to find fault with everything she did. 

Su Qianxun glanced at Qiao Yiren from a distance. Her relationship with Xia Xinruo had deteriorated to this extent. She had that woman Qiao Yiren to thank.

As it seemed, when Su Qianxun let her guard down around these people, they had already started scheming and planning to set her up.

After Su Qianxun went back to the emergency room, she and Aunt Zhang put Su Jiye in a wheelchair and took him away for an intravenous therapy.

Su Qianxun was feeling unsettled the entire time. When she recalled the angry look on Long Sijue's face, she could barely breathe, as though there was a weight on her chest.

Xia Chuxi was carried back to his ward. He woke up shortly after and felt frightened for unknown reasons. He knew very well that the man he encountered earlier was no ordinary human!

"Big brother, you're finally awake. You scared me to death. Look at my face," Xia Xinruo sat down by the bed and shouted furiously.

Xia Chuxi was already feeling miserable due to his injuries. Now he had a headache because of how loud she was. He glanced at her and asked, "What happened?"

"That little sl*t, Su Qianxun did it!"
