Someone poured a bucket of cold water on Su Qianxun. She shuddered abruptly and could no longer pretend that she was unconscious. She slowly opened her eyes. 1

The young woman's gaze fell upon Su Ran's face. There was a cold, indifferent look in her eyes. 

Su Ran tossed the bucket in her hand aside angrily. She walked over, pulled Su Qianxun towards her and slapped her across the face multiple times!

Su Qianxun felt a burning pain on her cheek and a bloody taste in her mouth. As it seemed, Su Ran had slapped her really hard just now. However, Su Ran was not satisfied yet. She began punching and kicking the young woman. 

Su Ran was battering her in a fit of frenzy. All Su Qianxun could do was to curl up so that the blows would not land on her vital organs. Seconds and minutes passed. Su Ran spotted a baton in a corner of the warehouse. She picked up the baton and began to hit Su Qianxun with it in an unhinged manner. 

It was only when someone came over to stop the hysterical Su Ran, snatching the baton away from her and tossing it onto the ground, that she finally stopped beating Su Qianxun and started panting. 

Su Qianxun no longer knew which parts of her body were aching. She only knew that every inch of her body was in pain. She was finally able to breathe. The moment she opened her mouth, she spat out a mouthful of blood. 

"That's enough. If you continue beating her, her face will be ruined and my buddies will lose interest in her."

The man's words made Su Qianxun break into a cold sweat. She knew what he meant. If these disgusting men were going to force themselves upon her, she would rather have Su Ran beat her to death right now.

"You have promised me that after you're done with her, you'll leave her to me – while she's still alive!" Su Ran said as she panted. Seeing the flustered look on Su Qianxun's face, she felt morbidly delighted. 

"Don't worry. My boss has made a promise, and he will keep his word. He'll be back soon. You don't want to beat her up too badly and make my boss lose interest in her, do you?"

After the man was done talking, he glanced at the injured young woman on the ground and left for now.

Su Ran and Su Qianxun were left alone in the warehouse. Su Qianxun struggled to sit up with all her remaining strength and leaned against the wall behind her. She looked at Su Ran. 

Su Qianxun suddenly sneered. "Su Ran, I have always treated you with respect and kindness. I have never wronged you, not even once. Why do you keep trying to set me up and harm me?"

When Su Ran heard that, she started laughing loudly. The wide grin on her face seemed twisted and psychotic. Su Qianxun merely stared at her coldly. After a moment, Su Ran stopped laughing and looked at Su Qianxun with hatred in her eyes. 

"Why? Because I hate you! I hated you since I first met you! I hate that you always appear sophisticated and arrogant. You came to school everyday in limousine. My surname is Su, and so is yours. But why did you get to be born in a rich family and get adored by everyone, while I had to be a peasant who was despised and looked down upon by others?"

"You're simply insane!" Su Qianxun glared at her coldly. Ever since she had seen Su Ran's true colors, she no longer felt surprised to learn about the ludicrous thoughts on her mind. 

"I hate your pretentious behavior even more! You pretend to treat everyone very kindly and gently. Every time you gave me money, I felt very disgusted by you!" Su Ran said angrily.

"Since you're disgusted by m, you could have turned the money down!" Su Qianxun was genuinely repulsed by Su Ran right now.

"Huh, why should I turn the money down? I'm not stupid. I took your money and then ridiculed you. It's more satisfying that way!"

Su Qianxun was dumbstruck. She had nothing else to say to this woman. Su Ran's mind had become twisted that it was pointless to talk to her.

"Didn't you always pretend that you're very generous? Why did you refuse to give me some money when I told you that I wanted to study abroad?" Su Ran questioned her furiously. Her eyes widened to a terrifying extent, as though they were about to pop out from her eye sockets. She appeared extraordinary horrifying.
