Su Qianxun was left speechless.

Xiao Mingyan smiled, "Don't be so serious, alright? I heard that you have just had a miscarriage. Look at how thin you are, you need to eat more meat."

Xiao Mingyan personally placed two slices of meat on Su Qianxun's plate.

Su Qianxun stared at the meat on her plate but did nothing, and she said, "Thank you for your kindness, madam, but my appetite is not good now, so I can't eat meat."

Xiao Mingyan had just finished speaking when the servant beside her served a bowl of soup to Su Qianxun.

"It's quite good." Su Qianxun's intuition made her feel that there was something wrong with this old woman.

"Then, you should drink more of it." Xiao Mingyan started smiling.

Su Qianxun took two more sips. This was when Huan Huan suddenly rushed in. She said, "Young mistress…"

"How dare you! Jin Garden is truly becoming even more disorderly now. Everyone dares to shout impudently before the mistress of the house!" Xiao Mingyan slammed the table, displeased. 

"Huan Huan, what happened?" Su Qianxun looked at her with furrowed eyebrows.

Tears were welling up in Huan Huan's eyes as she said, "Miss, Long Xiaoxun is missing…"

Su Qianxun suddenly felt a sense of suffocation in her chest. She stared at the meat dish and the bowl of soup before her.

Xiao Mingyan suddenly threw a small bell onto the dining table and said, "I feel that the dog would taste good, so I captured it and made it into stew. Didn't you just have a miscarriage? It's time to nourish your body… I heard you are the one who owns the dog. Doesn't dog meat taste amazing when the dog is yours?"

Su Qianxun could only feel her stomach churning vigorously, and she suddenly vomited violently. She lay on her stomach and vomiting incessantly. She had already vomited out the few sips of soup she had just drank, but she was still vomiting. It was as if she was about to start vomiting bile too. 

"Someone come and take that servant girl away. Slap her hard across the face!" Xiao Mingyan's gaze was sharp when she stared at Huan Huan, who she deemed nosy, as she still wanted Su Qianxun, that little sl*t, to eat a few more slices of meat.

The servant Xiao Mingyan brought with her caught Huan Huan, and an old female servant walked over and started to slap Huan Huan's face. The sounds of her face being slapped echoed throughout the dining hall.

Su Qianxun tried hard to suppress the urge to vomit as she rushed over with the intention of saving Huan Huan. Xiao Mingyan gave the servant beside her a look, and Su Qianxun was dragged away. She fell to the floor, and her stomach started to churn again. 

Ye Gu suddenly rushed in and saved Huan Huan. He raised his leg and kicked the old woman who was slapping Huan Huan, and the force sent the old woman flying. With a painful shriek, the old woman fell onto the floor and fainted immediately.

Huan Huan could only feel scorching pain on her face. She raised her head and looked at the man beside her, there was a surge of warmth in her heart, and her heart started to pound with emotions.

When Long Sijue came in, he saw that Su Qianxun was lying on the floor. He quickly walked over and helped her up, and Su Qianxun said in a trembling voice, "Long Xiaoxun, Long Xiaoxun…"

Su Qianxun wanted to vomit again after saying a few words. She was leaning on him, and although she clearly could not vomit anything anymore, she was still retching incessantly.

Long Sijue gently patted her back. He looked up and stared expressionlessly at Xiao Mingyan. He said, "Someone come and send my mother out of Jin Garden. In the future, without my orders, no one is allowed to let her in again!"
