She Will Never Love You

After they left the ward, Tang Zui was still holding Gu Mian's small hand tightly and refusing to let go. He was heading towards the elevator with Gu Mian behind him.1

When they entered the elevator, Gu Mian noticed that his grip had relaxed and seized the opportunity to quickly withdraw her hand. Tang Zui sensed that his hand was empty and furrowed his brows slightly.

Once they got into the car, Gu Mian initiated the conversation. "Have you had dinner? If you haven't, I'll buy you dinner."

"What are you buying me for dinner?" Tang Zui switched on the ignition and drove away from the hospital.

"Whatever you want." Gu Mian thought that since Tang Zui had saved her father, she ought to buy him a meal.

"I want to eat the dumplings you make."

For a moment, Gu Mian did not know what to say.

"Okay," she replied. There were still some leftovers from the dumplings she had wrapped earlier. She just needed to cook them once they got home and the dumplings would be ready to serve.

The car drove back to the apartment and stopped outside the building. The two of them got out of the vehicle and walked towards the entrance. Gu Mian was walking behind Tang Zui.

A car suddenly turned on its headlights, and the two of them stopped in their tracks. Gu Mian immediately raised a hand to shield her eyes. Tang Zui fixed his gaze on the car and saw Tang Ming's face.

Once Gu Mian's eyes recovered from the momentary discomfort due to the brightness, she spotted Tang Ming too. She suddenly grew anxious. 

Tang Ming opened the car door and got out of the vehicle. He looked at Gu Mian and said, "Mian Mian, I want to talk to you."

"I thought I had already made things clear with you. There's nothing else to say. Go home."

Gu Mian looked at Tang Ming's pale face and furrowed her eyebrows. As it seemed, his illness was quite serious this time.

"I don't believe in what you said. You said those things just because of him, didn't you? Tang Zui, Mian Mian doesn't love you at all. She will never love you! Let us be together! If you're willing to give Mian Mian back to me, I can leave the Tang family!" Tang Ming suddenly looked at Tang Zui and pleaded with him.

Tang Zui let out a cold laugh and suddenly pulled Gu Mian towards himself. He looked at Tang Ming as he lowered his head to kiss the young woman. Gu Mian's body went stiff. She turned her head away, knowing that Tang Zui was trying to humiliate her and Tang Ming on purpose.

Tang Zui saw that she was avoiding his kiss. He reached out his hands to grab her cheeks, lowered his head and kissed her on the lips. He shifted his gaze towards Tang Ming with a mocking look in his eyes!

Gu Mian wanted to push him away very badly, but she did not move. She stood stiffly and let him kiss her.

Tang Ming could not hold back his rage any longer. He rushed over and swung his fist at Tang Zui.

Tang Zui immediately shoved Gu Mian away. He grabbed the fist that Tang Ming threw at him and balled his other hand into a fist. Then, he threw a punch at Tang Ming with force!

Tang Ming had not recovered from his illness. When Tang Zui hit him, he fell to the ground and started coughing vigorously. Tang Zui glared at the man on the ground with rage. All he could think about was what Tang Ming had said earlier: "Mian Mian doesn't love you at all. She will never love you!"

He dashed over and tried to kick Tang Ming. Today, he would beat this culprit who killed his mother to death!

But when he tried to kick Tang Ming, his foot did not land on the latter's body. Instead, he accidentally kicked Gu Mian, who rushed over and stood between the two men.

Gu Mian felt a sharp pain in the back of her waist. At that very moment, she almost screamed out loud. But fortunately, she managed to hold it in.

"Mian Mian, how are you?" Tang Ming quickly held the young woman whose face was crumpling up in pain. He felt his heart break. He said, "Mian Mian, I knew that you still loved me!"

Gu Mian was in so much pain that she could no longer say a word. When Tang Ming was feeling agitated and upset, Tang Zui suddenly walked over and dragged Gu Mian away. He carried her in his arms, turned around and left.

"Tang Zui, let go of Gu Mian! You bastard!" Tang Ming wanted to dash over and snatch Gu Mian from him. But he heard Tang Zui say coldly, "I spent five billion RMB to buy her. If you want her, hand over five billion RMB!"
