Blood is rewarding

Seeing Saizou charging right at them, Demolus picked up Moka in his arms and jumped to the side avoiding the guy. He put her down and smiled at her while telling her to let him take care of this.2

Demolus was excited this was his first fight in a while, he wanted to try some things out while thinking how much blood to take from the guy. Saizou who's charge was avoided was furious he didn't care about anything anymore and looked at Demolus with eyes full of bloodlust.

"Bleed for me!" Demolus said while taking a boxing-like stance.

Saizou, while enraged, ran up to him and tried to punch his face but failed as Demolus moved to the side and kicked him. Saizou didn't mind the kick and regretted it the moment it collided with his right leg.

After his kick landed Demolus moved back and started punching the mass of muscle in front of him. Saizou on the other hand couldn't keep up as he got slower and slower while he could feel only pain.

Demolus on the other hand was a bit disappointed he expected at least some sort of fight. But it was very one-sided. It seemed like Saizou had no fighting style, only charging and trying to punch his opponent which was disappointing.

Having enough of this Demolus elongated his nails and stabbed the guy right in the chest. As he did so he started storing the blood of Saizou in his inventory but stopped after the system warned him that if this continued Saizou would die.

Demolus stopped not because of the system or anything else but because he could take his blood from time to time and killing the guy might attract too much attention to him. After all, he wasn't the strongest in this world and he knew his limits. There was no need to hurry.

As His nail became small again Saizou fell on his back barely conscious. Demolus walked to him and told him something to which Saizou started nodding as hard as he could in his condition.

Moka and Demolus were walking to the dorms from the forest while talking, which was mostly Demolus telling Moka to be more careful and not to follow just anyone around who she didn't know.

"Are you sure you're alright?" Moka asked him with a worried expression on her face.

"Yes, you shouldn't worry so much. I'm not the strongest but I'm not weak either," Demolus responded while smiling.

The two continued to talk and time passed by without them knowing. It didn't take long before they reached the dorms and it was time for them to separate after all the dorms were separated by gender.

The two said their goodbyes and went to their own rooms in their respective dorms. Demolus entered his room and decided to give the system the blood he got from Saizou. As he did so he was surprised by his reward.

Looking at what he got he couldn't help but smile after all the reward could be very good or bad so he decided to save it for later. Demolus knew that he needed to get blood and he would get rewards. But this reward only made him want to collect some more blood and exchange it for rewards.

Waking up in the morning Demolus took a shower and prepared for school. He was thinking of what to do with Kurumu and how to approach her, how to resist his instinct and how to stop them from raging. He had no idea where to start while he walked to school.

But his thoughts were interrupted by Kurumu who was standing right in front of him while waving her hand and smiling at him. Seeing her made him freeze for a moment but it seemed like keeping his instincts in control was far easier than before.

"Morning, Kurumu, how are you doing this morning?" He asked her while smiling.

When he smiled the girls who saw his smile started cheering, fainting and many more exaggerated reactions were witnessed by other students.

"Good morning, I'm doing great by the way I made you some cookies!" She said cheerfully while lifting her handmade cookies in a neat package.

"Thank you, but why did you make them for me?" He asked knowing the answer, but he wanted to make sure he understood why.

"Well because you are the one, you are my destined one! And I will make you fall for me!" She declared loudly with confidence.

Demolus understood what she meant and smiled. "You know I'm going for a harem so you'll have competition," He said while taking a cookie from the bag and eating one.

Kurumu didn't expect this kind of answer but she wasn't going to back down. "Then all I have to do is make you fall for me so hard you won't be able to think of anyone else but me!" Kurumu declared while puffing out her chest.
