3.1 Horns And Wings

Warning: this arc is extremely self-indulgent and there will be lots of sexual content. I mean, lots, literally *wipe sweat* and also many kinks including but not limited to furry kink, anal sex, creampie. When Lu Yizhou opened his eyes again, he wasn't faced with the familiar ceiling of his house that was in the rest station but a vast expanse of...light, fluffy clouds? He blinked blankly, his mind still reveling on the way Theodore's body slackened and the blood which trailed down the wound on his chest.

The last few seconds before his body completely disintegrated due to the holy sword Nightfall, he chose to self destruct and killed the protagonists. Meaning, he had broken one of the rules and should have gone back to the beginning to go through the world all over again. Just the mere thought was enough to make him exhausted. He admitted that was an impulsive move but with the corruption on his tail and the bloodied Theodore in front of him, Lu Yizhou was unable to think straight. He was fueled with rage and the only thing he wanted was to bring everyone down with them.

Speaking of self destruction, it had been quite some time since he heard 666's voice inside his mind. The corruption messed with his mind and the subsequent event which followed didn't give him time to take a breather. Lu Yizhou seemed to have heard the system's panicked cries a few moments before everything ended but he wasn't sure now.

[666, are you there?]

Instead of the familiar shriek, what entered his ears was a static fizzle similar to a rusty machine.

[Bzzz...Bzzz...trying to reconnect with Host. Please wait for a few moments...bzzz...bzzz…]

What happened? Did he really return to the beginning? No, more importantly, where was he? This wasn't the dense forestation he was in when he woke up as Raphael. He glanced around weirdly and took in a room that was similar to a bedroom if not for the open ceiling which allowed him to see the sky clearly. The spacious room had nothing except for the huge bed which he was currently laying on. It was soft and silky, he ran his hands through the mattress.

One thing for certain, Lu Yizhou didn't feel the way he did when he was a vampire. There was none of the constant itch and hunger and… He reached out to touch his neck. It was empty, his hair no longer reaching his waist. His skin also wasn't as pale as Raphael anymore; instead, it was the healthy bronze color of someone who was often exposed to sunlight. It was more muscular too, packed with muscles that were both hard and masculine.

He had barely let out a sigh of relief and sat up on the bed when he felt an even heavier weight on his head. What was it again now? Furrowing his brows, he swapped the weight away but his hand ended up bumping into a solid, hard thing followed by a force which tugged on his scalp.

Stunned, Lu Yizhou blinked for a few moments. What was this…? He probed along the smooth and hard surface atop of his head and felt uncomfortable all over. These...were horns?

He pulled on it hard and hissed. Okay, it hurts. These were indeed horns. He had a pair of huge, spiraling horns atop of his head. He thought that it was already the worst but when he stood up and felt something flapping behind his back, he froze once again. Turning around in dismay, he found—as much as he feared—a pair of huge wings with dark, glossy feathers.

What. The. Fuck.

Lu Yizhou gradually came to a few conclusions.

One: he wasn't Raphael anymore.

Second: he grew horns and wings. After a normal human, a vampire and now...what had he become? A demon?

Third: the system which was supposed to guide him was nowhere to be found.

Lu Yizhou dragged his feet to the window and saw nothing but an expanse of clouds along the horizon. He lifted his head and sighed exhaustedly. The single room he was in was hovering in the middle of the sky—or so it seemed.

There was no sign of life around and...if he wanted to reach the ground then he had to fly over. Lu Yizhou pressed his lips together. It wasn't like he was unfamiliar with it—he had even jumped across roofs in the previous world—but flying around the sky that was miles above ground? Hell, he couldn't even imagine himself doing it. However, as soon as the thought emerged in his mind, his wings subconsciously opened wide as if responding, creating a wave of gust that blew the curtain. His feet started to float in midair. At that moment he really felt as if he was going to shoot up through the clouds and crash like a meteor to the ground.

[Bzzz...bzzz...connection found.]

[666: HOST!!!!]

The sudden cry in his mind jolted Lu Yizhou and he lost control of his balance, almost tripping and falling flat on the ground. Fortunately, it seemed like his wings had gotten used to flying, thus they gently lowered Lu Yizhou's feet until he found solid ground to step on.

[666: OH MY, HOST!! YOU'RE SO COOL! LOOK AT THOSE WINGS AND HORNS!]

[Stop the capslock. I have many things to ask but first and foremost, didn't I fail the mission? So why am I here and...what am I?]

[666: Please wait a minute ah...bzzz...bzzz 666 is also confused by the sudden turn of events. When Host's corruption stopped at 99%, 666 couldn't reach Host anymore. You didn't respond no matter how hard 666 called QAQ it's so scaryyy… and according to the rules, you have eliminated the protagonists so you ought to restart the world again. It's weird bzzz….bzzz… 666 doesn't know why we ended up here and Admin God can't be reached either. You didn't receive the reward for the previous world and the willmeter hasn't shown up at all! Uuu, all of this is so weird!! Host, what should 666 do…?]

[...Why do you sound so rustic?]

[666: It's because 666 lost contact with the main server! 666 can't receive bzzz…bzzz… any updates from Admin God either! Noo, this hasn't happened before!!!]

Lu Yizhou massaged his brows. One incident happened after another and he hadn't got the slightest idea of what was going on. Well, not that it mattered anyway. He never cared about rewards nor did he give a damn about the willmeter. [So this is another world, correct?]

[666: Y—Yes, it should be so.]

[You can't connect with the server, does it mean that you can't provide the plot?]

[666: No! Of course 666 can do that! Bzzz...bzzz… the program has already been installed so 666 can still keep working even if 666 lost contact with Admin God. Don't worry, Host, 666 is here with you! Here's the plot!]

This was another fantasy world that was filled with beastmen. Thousands of years ago, their ancestors were animals but after going through evolution, their appearance started to change more and more to resemble humans until their ancestors' traits could no longer be found. That's why if someone were to show beastly signs upon birth—for example slit eyes, fur, or claws, they were revered and put into high pedestal as the beings that were closest to their ancestors. The beastmen were classified into six genders that were divided into main gender and secondary gender. Main gender was the gender that beastmen were born with, namely male or female.

And the secondary gender that would be identified when the beastmen shed their childhood; Alpha, Beta and Omega.

Betas made up almost 95% of the population. They were those who looked exactly like humans without any beastly traits and they weren't bestowed with the ability to sense pheromones either. Beta's reproductive capability was the lowest compared to Alpha or Omega.

Alphas were born to be leaders. Powerful, charismatic and commanding. They were at the top of the food chain. Throughout history, they had held many important positions in the country and contributed a lot for civilization. Alphas had high sexual drive and exceptional reproductive capability that could impregnate both betas or omegas. They exuded mighty and imposing pheromones which could repel fellow Alphas and charmed Omegas. They were also highly territorial and the beast signs they possessed also originated from predators such as lion, snake, whale, coyote and etcetera.

And lastly, Omega. They were even more scarce in population than Alpha. Usually, they tended to be weak, harmless animals such as rabbit, mouse or sheep. They were born with a very high reproductive capability. Once every three months, they would go into heat and exuded sweet smelling pheromones that could entice Alphas. If the Alpha bit them on the gland on their nape during the intercourse, a mark would be formed. This was often referred to as bond. A bond between Alpha and Omega would last a lifetime. A bonded Omega could only be appeased by their Alpha's pheromones alone whereas Alpha was able to mark several Omegas throughout their lives.

Omegas were vulnerable during their heat cycle and previously, a few Alphas had lost their mind and ended up forcing the Omegas to mate with them. The undesirable bond often put Omegas in a disadvantage because once bonded, they couldn't leave their Alphas anymore that's why the researchers came up with a gland patch which worked as the scent blocker and prevent Omegas from being marked against their will and heat suppressant for both Alpha and Omega to control their beastly instinct. Since then, the cases of forced bond had decreased substantially.

Beastmen who possessed beastly signs on their bodies were either Alpha or Omega. On the other hand, not all Alpha or Omega showed such marks.
