5.25 Justice For General Kai!

This was the first time the King of parasites had been subjected to such torture. He wished he could faint, curse the General's thirteen ancestors back or detach himself from Merrick's body and latch himself on the General's instead, sucking his brain matters whilst basking in the man's despairing plea. Letting Merrick savor the taste of his own sock to his heart's content, Lu Yizhou made his way to the sentinel that had tried to kill him and dragged him in front of the camera, pushing his shoulders down to the seat he had occupied earlier.

He bent down to whisper into the man's ear, his eyes gleaming in crimson. "Tell everyone who you are and what you have done, please."

Lu Yizhou fell silent for a beat before patting the man's shoulders. "You have five minutes starting from now."

As if breaking through the spell he was in, the man's murky eyes cleared and they darted around in panic as he tried to discern his surroundings. Colors drained from his face as he spotted the President through the corner of his eyes. No! No…! Alas, no matter how hard he struggled, he had no chance against the binding of the system's skill. 

His whole body was frozen as his mouth started to spit out one word after another. "My name is Ron and I was seventeen when I was recruited into the President's classified army. We are ordered to obey his every command and do the dirty work for him and in exchange, we are paid much more than what an ordinary soldier could make in his life. We are also guaranteed to walk free from the crimes we have done because we have the President supporting us. There are thirty of us…"

One sentence was more shocking than the other. The audience behind the screen was stupefied by the ugly facts surrounding their President whose image was perfectly clean in front of the public. The crimes were exposed in public, more often than not they had even seen it in the news before! Those accidents were sealed as cold cases as the culprit was never found! Who could guess that everything was actually the President's doing?! 

And then, when the sentinel got to where they were ordered to kill General Kai who was being treated in the hospital, they cursed with full capslock and angry emojis; the rolling comments almost blocked the whole screen. Why would you kill an innocent General who had fought with his life on the line for the country?! It was no wonder that he came to seek revenge in the middle of the night!

The sentinel pressed his lips tightly after five minutes and Lu Yizhou veeery gently tugged him out of his seat to have the man replaced. The sentinel all but crashed to the wall out of the camera's range and the doctor, much more cowardly, trembled even before Lu Yizhou reached him. When Lu Yizhou let go of the mind manipulation, tears instantly streamed down his face. There was no need for Lu Yizhou to use the 'Devil's Whisper' on him because the doctor directly confessed his crimes, regretting that he had been too greedy for wealth that he had indirectly caused many people to lose their lives. 

Ignorance was but another kind of sin, he deserved to wallow in regret for the mistake he had made until the day he died.

The ten minutes confession was done and the tides were leaning heavily in Lu Yizhou's favor. He finally moved from his place against the wall and marched toward the President. Shocked, the President jerked and almost caused the chair to tumble. Lu Yizhou held onto it in time and pulled the chair until the President entered the center of the frame and positioned himself behind him. 

"Now, what should I do with you?"

His mind was running through all kind of torture method but then he realized that Terra was watching right now. For his lover's sake, Lu Yizhou would keep everything PG. He sighed. What a pity.
