From the tendency his lover had let slip a few times in the past, Lu Yizhou gathered that he had special 'interest' in dominating others. While Lu Yizhou was perfectly willing to hand over the control, his lover hadn't seemed to be ready to take the last step.
That's why when Moshe cut his shirt to shreds, reducing the expensive material into rags clinging to his body, Lu Yizhou blinked, dejavu overcoming him in waves. There was no hesitation in Moshe's movement at all, he was decisive, precise and determined. Anger was blazing within his golden eyes so bright it was like witnessing the eruption of a thousand years old magma, fierce and unstoppable. Within them was also a flash of madness Lu Yizhou had only seen in Jillian when the latter promised hell to his enemy.
Lu Yizhou never expected that one day, he would have that gaze directed toward him. He swallowed thickly. Moshe's anger was burning the last bit of dark jealousy within him into bits and once again, Lu Yizhou started to see the light of the matter.
There were times when he chose to ignore his heart, to only let his logical mind direct his course of action. Call it a habit. Human's emotions were one precarious, fragile thing. They were easily manipulated, and in return, they would manipulate your mind too, covering your senses with illusions akin to a thick haze of curtain. As a result, you would no longer be able to see the truth and you would act hastily only to regret it later, and that's what people called 'stupid decision'.
Since he was young, Lu Yizhou had learned not to let emotion get into his decision-making.
He failed to realize that sometimes… when dealing with the matter of heart, especially the one whom he cherished more than life itself, he shouldn't ignore what his heart was clamouring. It was only when he looked into Moshe's slightly manic eyes that Lu Yizhou came to his senses. He had wrongly accused Moshe of being jealous of him.
It wasn't Lu Yizhou whom Moshe was jealous of, but Regius.
"Before me, you have kissed one person and with Regius, it's two. Where am I supposed to be, Aiden?" That one sentence had exposed Moshe's entire feelings and forced Lu Yizhou to see the crux of the problem.
Moshe had no idea that one person Lu Yizhou was talking about had always been him. Alas, before Lu Yizhou could rectify his mistakes, he was already dragged to the bed and tied up. Again.
"Rule number two." Moshe got off the bed and sauntered to the walk-in cabinet planted to one side of the wall. Lu Yizhou could see nothing from his current position and if it was someone other than him, they would have been jittery with anticipation of the unknown. Moshe's voice bounced off the walls, bland and flat as if he was reciting some lines from a textbook. "With every lie you tell, there will be consequences."
However, when he came out with a few additional things in his hands, his expression was everything but amiable. A wicked gleam flashed through his eyes as he deliberately dropped the items on the long table where Lu Yizhou could catch a perfect sight of them.
Slowly, deliberately, Moshe took his time to plop open the buttons of his shirt one by one, his back facing Lu Yizhou. "First question, why did you go out that night two days ago? Second question, how did you evade this place's tight security? Third, why were you bleeding all over? Fourth, why the entertainment district of all places?" He finally turned to lean against the table, snapping on a pair of black leather gloves and almost lazily, grabbed the leather flogger whip he had just fetched from the secret cabinet. "Think carefully before you answer, Aiden."
Moshe had only undid the three top buttons of his shirt, enough to display a glimpse of his toned, chiseled chest. Lu Yizhou blinked and tore his eyes away. He had to stare up the ceiling so that he could maintain his sanity. Nevertheless, the swirl of dark ink against that pale skin had been burned to the back of his eyelids.
"Five."
Moshe took slow, steady steps toward the bed. He beat the leather flogger against his palm as he counted.
"Four."
Lu Yizhou's mind buzzed and hot sweat beaded on his hairline. What excuse had he prepared again last time…? It was hard to think clearly when Moshe was looming above him like that, smiling sweetly with an angelic face.
"Thr—"
Lu Yizhou blurted out. "I wanted to come with you, but you didn't allow me to."
Moshe raised a brow. "So? You threw a huge tantrum and decided to run far to the cinema to watch Spongebob Squarepants with blood seeping through your wounds?"
Lu Yizhou shrugged as much as he could manage with his current predicament. What could he say? This was different from the previous world where Gods and mythical beasts existed, giving him an ample reason to enlighten Jillian's mind on the truth of the matter. This was but a D class world; a world without magic and supernatural creatures. Even if he said he came from another world, Moshe would most probably think there was something wrong with his mental development.
Alas, his casual attitude had apparently rubbed Moshe the wrong way.
Pa! The flogger landed on the inner part of Lu Yizhou's arm without warning, tearing a surprise hiss from his lips. The sharp pain rapidly morphed into a throbbing burn and Lu Yizhou's mouth went dry as the rope dug deeper into his flesh, sending numbness to the tip of his fingers.
Once again, Lu Yizhou found himself lamenting Cyrus' abscence in this world. He and Luan had been a great help to him before. If he was here, he would be able to swindle them out of this situation.
"What should I do for you to trust me?" Lu Yizhou asked, his voice turning hoarse.
"Hmm…" Moshe leisurely trailed the leather strips following the veins on Lu Yizhou's arm, and Lu Yizhou had to expand all of his willpower not to react to such a ticklish sensation. "Maybe all you have to do is spill the truth?"
Pa! The flogger struck Lu Yizhou's chest and it certainly wasn't a coincidence that the end of the thin leathers were scraping against Lu Yizhou's nipples. Lu Yizhou let out a muffled grunt, half from the pain on his chest and half from his cock who had decided to rear its head due to the stimulus.
Moshe's eyes darkened as he examined the red marks forming on Lu Yizhou's skin, satisfied yet still wanting more. "I can spend all night long just like this. What do you think, Aiden?" He drawled the words in an indolent tone. If someone else heard him now, they would think that he was an unemployed, idle man and not the head of a fucking empire with thousands of people's fates on his shoulders.
Lu Yizhou closed his eyes and counted to three before opening them again. He tried to distract himself from his burning lust to ponder on urgent matters… yes, such as Zion and the bug. There were a lot of things he hadn't confirmed yet. For starters, did Zion manage to meet the other male protagonist? What about Regius the bug? What was his role in this world?
No… Lu Yizhou gazed at Moshe deeply. The most important question was, could he make it out of this place in one piece?
As if sensing the line of Lu Yizhou's thoughts, Moshe's smile deepened, cloyingly sweet and deceiving. "Rule number three. For disobedient pets who are dead set on biting his owner's hand, punishment is a must."
"Question number one, why did you go out two days ago?"
"I told you…" Lu Yizhou breathed. "I wanted to follow you."
"Wrong answer," Moshe answered coldly. That was all the warning Lu Yizhou got before the flogger came down again on him, right on his nipple this time. Lu Yizhou bit his lips tightly.
"Question number two…"
"Question number three…"
Moshe had known — he must — that Lu Yizhou wouldn't be able to give him a satisfactory answer. He must not have cared too much either, judging from the gleam in his eyes that burned brighter and brighter with every mark he put on Lu Yizhou's body.
Lu Yizhou's wrists were chaffed now, he could catch a faint whiff of blood; coupled with the increasingly heated atmosphere and the weight of Moshe's gaze on him, Lu Yizhou's blood boiled, every single cell in his body was surging as if his skin could no longer hold their excitement back. His hair was dampened with sweat, sticking to his flushed face.
Perhaps it was because he had just caught a fever two days ago, perhaps it was the sharp pain intermingled with pleasure until the line between them gradually blurred, or perhaps it was the obvious reaction he could see on Moshe's lower part despite his calm expression, Lu Yizhou's defense came crumbling down around the ninth or tenth strike. He clenched his fists tight, lips biting down a muffled groan as he released with a shudder. His vision whitened for a second; it was as if he was truly floating amidst the soft fluffy clouds, head empty save for the blissful pleasure that coursed through every single nerve on his body.
"Oh…?" Moshe swept his gaze across Lu Yizhou's trembling body before it landed on the obvious dark patch on his light gray colored sweatpants. His tone was airy and light, totally unrepentant. "What is this?"
Moshe had always struck Lu Yizhou's upper body, concentrated on the area of his arms and chest. He strategically avoided the most severe wound on Lu Yizhou's stomach as well as the very noticeable part below Lu Yizhou's abdomen. But now, he deliberately dragged the flogger down Lu Yizhou's torso… glided past Lu Yizhou's pelvis… and circled around the massive bulge, never quite breaching the center.
Lu Yizhou sucked in another breath and subconsciously bucked his hips to chase against the friction.
Pa! Moshe hit his inner thigh in warning. Lu Yizhou groaned as he could feel the pain shot up to the top of his head, numbing his scalp with hot white pleasure. His energized cock gave another twitch, hardening under Moshe's gaze akin to a flower shyly showing its most radiant blossom, releasing an essence so potent that it caused Moshe to gulp.
Moshe didn't even hit him that hard but perhaps due to his lingering orgasm, Lu Yizhou still couldn't stop shuddering. He had never known that such a agonizing torture existed.
As he was bemoaning his fate, Moshe hummed and asked as if confused. "Have I given you permission to come, pet?"

Lu Yizhou, at his wits' end. [Help me.]
[666: *gasp* this… this is the first time Host has ever relied on 666! What should 666 help you, Host? Just say it and 666 will do anything for you even though 666 can't see anything right now!]
[...]
[...Can you do something to distract him?]
[666: Err… how?]
Lu Yizhou heaved out a long-suffering sigh. [Just create a disturbance somewhere or make someone call him away. You have hacked into the main server. Surely, something like this will be easy for you right?] The sarcasm in his words was so strong that only the deaf and the blind could miss it. Sadly, 666 was exactly a deaf and blind system.
Despite sensing something off in its Host's, 666 didn't think much of it. It was more focused on the challenge Host had issued. When he said it like that, how could 666 back down?! 666 would prove that it deserved its serial number as the most wonderful, capable and handsome system!
[666: Okay! Leave it to me, Host!]
