7.34 Share With Me?

The resting lounge was akin to a luxurious hotel room. A huge chandelier hung on the ceiling. A 146-inch thin television took up the entire space of the wall and opposite it was velvety sectional sofas, giving off the vibes of a home theater. Not only that, there was also a bar lounge where Mr. Agenor's proud collection of wines sat, sitting inside the glass cabinet like a war trophy.  2

Zion's footsteps were muffled due to the thick carpet. He instantly made his way to the sofa and plopped himself down, crossing one leg atop of the other in a regal pose akin to a royalty. And when Lu Yizhou stepped in following him, the door was abruptly slammed behind him followed by a click.

"I—I'm sorry. Truly, I am very sorry!" The waiter cried out again and again, his voice and footsteps gradually sinking away until only heavy silence dragged on between the two men locked inside.

"Exactly how naïve are you? Or should I say… stupid?" Zion drummed his fingers atop of his thigh and lit up another cigarette. The flicker of flame casted shadows over his face, making his already cold expression become all the more frosty. "Didn't your master warn you not to follow everyone as you please? If not… maybe he doesn't cherish you as much as you think he does." He tilted his head back, white smoke billowing out of his lips. "Did he not warn you that… I, Zion Tenley, never let anyone who has offended me off the hook?"

The corner of Lu Yizhou's eyes twitched. What was up with this opening speech? If he wanted to act then just act. Why the lengthy words? "Oh, he did warn me about you," Lu Yizhou said with an airy tone. Almost careless. The lack of caution on his face was making Zion frowned. "It's the sole reason I am here, you know. My master said that… if there's anyone repulsive, then I am allowed to bare my fangs toward them. And in this place, I found nobody more repulsive than you, Mr. Tenley."

Zion clearly didn't take his words seriously. He casually let out a brief chuckle, the ice within his eyes hardening. As he had expected, this man was truly gutsy… Well, there's a very thin line between gutsy and stupidity. Zion would make sure to teach him the difference between the two. "Last chance…" He drawled out lazily. "Come here and kneel in front of me. I want to see how much Moshe had taught you. Who knows, if you're obedient enough… I may let you out of this place in one piece."

The sound of Lu Yizhou's snort rang out loud and clear like a hammer. The veins on Zion's forehead popped out. He had already been cornered like this and he still had the audacity to laugh?! Zion's knuckles whitened as he crushed the burning cigarette in his hand.

"I'm sorry but…" Lu Yizhou shook his head, mirth apparent in his eyes. "No matter how many years I have lived, some people really amuse me to no end." Before Zion could truly comprehend what he was saying, Lu Yizhou lifted his eyelids and his pupils seemed to grow crimson. *Hey… it looks like you have good stuff inside your pocket. Care to share it with me?"

Lu Yizhou's smile deepened as Zion's eyes slowly turned dazed. Amidst the brightly lit room, his crimson eyes glowed eerily, enchanting. Truly… like a devil.

It took Moshe all of his willpower in this lifetime as well as the one in his next life not to punch Regius on his repulsive face. This wasn't his territory, he told himself. He needed Mr. Agenor on his side. He had been working on this for years and tonight, it wasn't only his effort. His pet… he was the one who had charmed his way into Mr. Agenor's heart, opening a clear path for Moshe to proceed.

Moshe couldn't let his anger ruin everything, not after how far he had gone.

Feel free to use me however you want, Moshe recalled what Aiden had said. At that moment, Moshe recalled those silver eyes, so clear akin to crystalline; the sharpness in them, the wits, the hidden power… Somehow Moshe slowly found himself calming down. That's right, Aiden was strong. It was evidently shown in the way he carried himself, the flash of danger Moshe had glimpsed upon in his eyes. Yes, he ought to trust Aiden.

Moshe schooled his expression and offered Regius his trademark smile, making the latter's smile falter for the unsuccessful attempts of provocation. "I'm sorry, you suddenly stood in my way and started to talk nonsense. I am actually wondering who you are all these while."

Quite a bunch of people had been attracted to their current exchange. At first they thought that Mr. Tenley's partner had had some history with Mr. Morelli — whom everyone knew was his nemesis. They had been waiting for juicy gossip when in fact, this man was just another lousy someone who wanted to entice Moshe! Heavens, was this man not satisfied with Mr. Tenley to desire his nemesis of all people?

These people had taken to test Regius just like they did to Lu Yizhou and ckckck… the result had been immensely unsatisfactory. The man had a glib tongue when it came to sweet talking and he was pleasing to the eye, but his knowledge on the upper echelon was a huge zero! Worse was Zion's other partner, who looked so nervous that he couldn't form a proper sentence. Every time he was asked a question, he would stammer and blush like a sheltered maiden. Pathetic!

The two of them might be beautiful, but these people had seen too much beauty in their life that it became tedious.

It was still Moshe's companion that really appealed to them. Not only was his appearance extremely attractive, he also carried himself with such elegance and poise. Truly an exceptional gentleman!

"Mr. Morelli, do you need help with something?"

"Yes, do you need us to call the security?"

They spoke whilst giving Regius a belittling gaze, full of contempt and derision. Regius had been caught off guard that his offensive remarks on Moshe didn't manage to faze the man in the slightest and now with these wealthy people looking down on him as if he was a piece of trash, his face reddened further in shame and fury.

He gritted his teeth. "Do you think I am joking? Ha!" Mockery was evident on his face. "I have initially planned to guide you to him, to let you see how he looks when he hits rock bottom but now, I have changed my mind. I won't say anything even if you kill me! Just let Zion teach your pet a lesson and pray that he will be alive until then."

Hidden from sight, Moshe's knuckles cracked, nails stabbed deep into the flesh of his palm, trembling. Nevertheless, his smile didn't falter. "This is a defamation to my companion's good name. I'd like to ask Mr. Agenor to give me a proper account."

A crowd had formed around them, naturally alerting the master of the place. Mr. Agenor showed up with a somber look. Two bulky bodyguards emerged behind him to apprehend Regius, who belatedly realized that the situation had somehow gone out of hand.

"I apologize for the trouble you have experienced in this event, Mr. Morelli." Mr. Agenor inclined his head toward Moshe. "I will take responsibility and assure that your companion is unharmed. Men, search this place! I don't care even if you turn this place upside down. Find Mr. Morelli's companion as soon as possible!"

"Thank you." Moshe relayed his gratitude. "I'd like to search for him myself too. Please excuse me." As soon as he turned away from the crowd, his smile vanished in an instant, replaced with a murderous look that promised murder. His jaws tensely clenched, veins popping up on his neck. The waiters who had the shitty luck to witness Moshe like this all scampered away in fear.

Where…? Where would he be? Aiden had said he was going to the bathroom so Moshe made his way there in large, brisk steps. He paused when he noticed an obvious stain on the carpet, as well as glass fragments that hadn't been put away yet. People were too busy socializing in this place, unwilling to waste even one second away from the hall but still, it was illogical for the waiter to leave such a mess behind.

He narrowed his eyes in thought and decided to go check the bathroom. It was empty. Damn it! Moshe raked his fingers through his hair, destroying the perfectly elaborate hairstyle. Frustration was quickly brewing within him and in a fit of anger, he plucked the glasses off his face and smashed it against the wall. It shattered to pieces along with the control of anger he had on himself.

Zion…! He seethed, the mask of composure fading to show extreme fury, hatred and a hint of fear. If he touched even a single strand of hair on Aiden's head, Moshe would definitely make him regret every single day of his life!

After taking a few deep breaths to clear his mind, Moshe started his search again. Think… where was the place where Zion could take Aiden to? He was straining his eyes and ears in case he would hear something when a familiar cry drifted to his ears.

Moshe froze in his tracks. Before his mind could process it, he had already run to the source of the voice. The closer he was, the louder the cries were. There was no mistake about it… this was Cheryl's voice! Moshe had no time to ponder as to how Cheryl found her way to this place because she was crying whilst clinging onto a random waiter's pants. Her little face was red and blotchy, tears streaming down her face.

"You bad guy! I hate you! I hate you so much!"

"Cheryl!" Moshe rushed to her, checking her from head to toe for any injury. "What happened here?" The last question was directed toward the pale faced waiter who was trembling like a quail as soon as Moshe's eyes laid on him.

Cheryl's eyes lit up at the sight of him and she finally let go in lieu of clinging onto Moshe instead. "Save my da—brother!" She pointed angrily at the waiter who looked seconds away from passing out. "He's a bad guy! I saw with my own eyes that he locked my brother with a scary looking guy inside a room!"
