6.11 Grant This Wish

When Jillian returned later that day, it was almost midnight. Lu Yizhou had remained in the same position, watching as the carriage with the Duke's insignia drove in through the gate, followed by Jillian whose clothes and hair were slightly disheveled compared to when he had just left early in the day. Show yourself again in front of me, Regius…" Jillian whispered his name again and again, longing bleeding into his every word.

It's a sincere plea. A wish. A prayer. Power surged through Lu Yizhou's body just like the first time Jillian prayed for someone to save him back in the forest. He could choose to grant it or ignore it and—
