That was the sentence Lu Yizhou heard in his mind when his consciousness climbed to the surface. Relief flooded his heart in waves and his heart that was hanging midair could finally be put down. 

He was actually gambling when he told Ellen to kill Baines. If it went according to his prior experience, then he would be transported to the rest station even after he died because his mission to save the villain had been deemed completed. The worst case scenario was to return to day one and start everything all over again. Either way, Lu Yizhou already outwit Baines and beat him at his own game.

The only downside was that his lover had indirectly killed him…

Lu Yizhou's heart ached just by the thought that his lover would retain this painful memory in the end. He could not imagine how Ellen's reaction was when he found his corpse. Yes, Lu Yizhou indeed had a plan, but it included dying in his lover's arms. If he had told Ellen firsthand, there was no way he would agree with Lu Yizhou's plan hence he had no choice but to tell a little white lie.

Ellen must have been so angry with him... Lu Yizhou let out a heavy sigh. There was already a promise of 'no sorrys' between them, so all Lu Yizhou could do was to make it up for him.

Already deciding his next course of action, Lu Yizhou belatedly realized that his whole body was weighed down by thick fatigue and sluggishness. It was not only the physical kind but also psychological. For the past forty hours, his nerves had been strung taut by the events that happened one after another. He had not even had a respite until the last second. He wished he could sleep again but his mind had grown fully alert. Going back to sleep was not a choice then. 

Lu Yizhou was not unfamiliar with this sensation. After all, he used to have severe insomnia which could only be cured when sleeping with his lover. He shoved the discomfort to the back of his mind and tried to reawaken his numb senses.

The next thing he noticed, he seemed to be… swaying ever so slightly?

As though sensing his doubt, the mechanical voice sounded once again and doused a bucket of cold water over Lu Yizhou's head.

What the…? It was not over yet?!

Lu Yizhou snapped his eyes open to see a creamy ceiling engraved with delicate patterns on the corner. In his peripheral vision was a window which overlooked the boundless clear blue sky that spread as far as he could see. There were even a few seagulls flying around. 

Shock was not even adequate to describe what Lu Yizhou was feeling right now. In the end, he could only mutter out, "...Fuck."

His mind was buzzing noisily again. [666!]

[666: Guh…?]

Nice, the system sounded like it had just gotten a good night's sleep. Lu Yizhou closed his eyes and took a few steadying breaths. He gritted out. [How come we're still stuck in this world?!] 

He had already saved the villain so it was only logical to wake up in the rest station rather than being in this… in this room in a cruise ship!

Lu Yizhou painstakingly propped himself up by elbow and leaned on the headboard. The series of simple movements already took a heavy toll on his body to the point where sweat beaded on his hairline. His head felt like it was being hammered again and again, and his breathing was uneven as though he had just run a marathon. His stomach churned and he got a strong urge to vomit.

This was even worse than when he was a congenital heart disease patient CEO Lu! What kind of role had this shitty simulator given him this time?!

Sensing the turbulent storm in Lu Yizhou's mind as well as his face that was as dark as the bottom of a pot, 666's codes shuddered violently. It had been a long time since it saw its Host being in a real bad mood! So scary… QAQ

[666: H–Host, will you believe it if 666 says that 666 doesn't know what is happening either? Hic! The last thing 666 remembered was you tying Baines with that creepy white silk! Wait… Where are we?! We have left that terrifying mansion?!]

The word 'useless' was hanging on the tip of his tongue but Lu Yizhou firmly held himself back. He was a principled man who always kept his words. Back then, to send 666 emotional support for its ultimate battle against system bug 404, he had promised not to call 666 'useless' again. Alas, he regretted it a bit now. He should not have casually said something like that at the spur of the moment…

[666: Host, you do realize that 666 can sense your thoughts, right?]

Lu Yizhou surveyed his surroundings. The room he was in was clearly a single room that consisted of a bed, cabinet, a set of table and chair, and also a door that led to the bathroom. He let out a sigh of relief. At least, the world did not assign him a roommate. 

He had not actually been to a cruise ship before but he heard that some people would choose cheaper accommodation and in exchange, they would stay in a bunk bed with other people. Lu Yizhou's skin crawled just by the thought that he had to share his personal space with others in the next few days. Fortunately, it did not happen, otherwise he would have to search for another place to stay.

Right now, the thing that worried him the most was his body. What the hell was wrong with him?

Lu Yizhou closed his eyes to take a short respite. [Scan my body and see if there's something wrong.]

Lu Yizhou not so discreetly rolled his eyes. Once again, why should he know this kind of thing? 666 acted as if he had committed a heinous crime or something. Just by the name alone, he could guess that it was not anything good.

Before he could ask 666 to explain, another prompt appeared in front of him.
