"Hmm…?" Lu Yizhou raised a brow and a meaningful smile spread across his face. If Ellen could see him now, he would realize the wicked gleam of Lu Yizhou's eyes indicating that he was up to no good again. "So… it's okay to do whatever I want as long as I don't leave any mark?"

Ellen froze, seemingly only realizing what kind of atrocious thing he had said. He hastily tried to rectify himself. "N–No, I don't—"

Unfortunately, Lu Yizhou did not give him any time to react as he abruptly spun Ellen over and parted his legs so he was straddling Lu Yizhou's torso, his muscular arms coming around Ellen's body in a drop of a hat. 

The water sloshed wildly around them, spilling all over the bathroom floor yet none of them could care less about it now. Ellen's expression was still frozen in a state of shock, misty golden eyes widened in the face of the sudden turnover. His cheeks were suffused in an alluring pink and his lips swollen from being bitten too hard. Droplets of water clung to his dark lashes, blanketing his eyes in a layer of mist. He really exuded the aura of a flower that was roughly manhandled, helpless and wretchedly lovely.

Just a few moments ago, he was clearly such a charismatic, aloof man but at the moment, he had long been light-headed against Lu Yizhou's persistent attack. That muddled appearance of his was so adorable that Lu Yizhou couldn't resist yanking him closer until they were flushed against each other. With his arm behind Ellen's back, there was nowhere Ellen could hide into anymore. In this position, their lengths brushed against each other, equally hot, even the warm water could not compare. 

Ellen blinked once, twice, and then he stiffly looked down. "You… That is…"

"Yes?" Lu Yizhou leisurely raked his wet fingers through his hair to push his hair back. He did not want even a strand of it getting in his way to see his lover's reaction. Lu Yizhou's face became tense. He grasped Ellen's chin and forced the man to look up. Alas, just one look on Ellen's face almost sent him reeling in delirium. 

His lover's eyes were hooded in intense desire, thick lashes framing his golden eyes and casting shadows onto his flushed cheeks. His teeth were latched firmly on his bottom lip, and his brows were furrowed as though resisting the carnivorous hunger within him…

Ellen's brows furrowed lightly, annoyed at being interrupted. "Not felt. Seen."

"Seen," Lu Yizhou mouthed with growing dread. He recalled the innocent and pure Ella. As soon as he thought of how he had corrupted the little girl with the naughty things he had done to her other self, he had the urge to cough out blood. His voice shook, flustered. "Then… what about Ella? Back then with Ellie and now… can she see them like you do too?"

Ellen blinked; once, twice, his mind still in disarray. And then as he fully perceived Lu Yizhou's question, a horrified look etched onto his face and he sputtered. "Of course not! She… She is just a child. How can… How can we—"

"Alright, I understand." Lu Yizhou hastily rubbed his back to soothe his agitated emotions. This was the first time he had seen Ellen show such a vivid emotion and to think that it was because of his mindless question… Lu Yizhou did not know whether to laugh or cry. He just didn't want to take a risk, okay? "So, Ella will not be able to see us?"

"No." Ellen put on an ugly look. Presumably, the thought that their… activity could be seen by a ten years old child sent his mood plunging into the mariana trench. "She can't. Nobody can."

"Not even Ellie?"

Ellen showed a contemplative look. "Sometimes. On occasion where she's stronger than usual. But she's asleep now. Both of them." He placed a palm above his chest and his expression became wistful as though he was cupping a precious treasure in his palms. "Ellie has worked hard to protect Ella, but she is not strong enough. That's why I exist."

"Mn," Lu Yizhou pressed his lips to Ellen's forehead. He was not too surprised by Ellen's answer because somehow, he had already guessed that early on. And that's why he felt even more distressed for the man in his arms. Still with his lips pressed onto Ellen's skin, he promised, "And from now on, it will be my task to protect the three of you. You can rely on me." 

Ellen blinked at him, stunned. And then he quietly averted his gaze with a nonchalant hum. Lu Yizhou knew that he still could not bring himself to trust others, not when his life was filled with betrayal and difficulties, but Lu Yizhou swore, on his life and every breath he took, that he was going to offer his lover the security he had longed for his whole life.

Nobody, not even himself, was allowed to hurt them anymore.

Now that Lu Yizhou knew their bedroom matter was not leaked to Ella, Lu Yizhou relaxed again and showed a crooked grin, earning him an alarm look from the other.

Ellen had grown a bit soft from their earlier conversation but Lu Yizhou did not give him a chance to escape as he trapped him squarely in his arms. Then with one hand, he took hold of both of their cocks.

I've promised, I will give you everything you don't even know you need."
