Lu Yizhou sensed something was off with his reaction. Why did he sound so surprised? Pulling away slightly, he was surprised to see the genuine bewilderment on Ellen's face. "...You don't know?"

Lu Yizhou fell into thoughts. Previously, even though Ellen was chained, he claimed that he could see everything that had happened inside the Knox Residence. In a sense, if there was a hierarchy among the three personalities, then Ellen would be the highest because the power he held was greater than the other two. But now… it was different. Ellen really had no idea what had happened last night. How could that be?

Lu Yizhou studied his expression and said tentatively, "Last night, Ella woke up."

"Ella…?" Ellen blinked a few times, bamboozled. "Ella woke up? Why didn't I notice…?"

Was it because they were finally in one body that their power would be divided equally? Or perhaps… was it this world's influence? Before Lu Yizhou could say anything in response though, Ellen suddenly got angry again. "So, did you make her cry?!"

"I didn't…" Lu Yizhou tried to defend his innocence, helpless. "Ella had a nightmare and woke up crying."

Ellen gave him a skeptical look, clearly doubting the truth in Lu Yizhou's words. Lu Yizhou did not know whether to laugh or cry. Exactly what kind of person was he in Ellen's eyes? Just as he opened his mouth to soothe the leopard's bristling fur, the doorbell rang. Ellen obviously knew who was on the other side of the door because he chose to let Lu Yizhou go and turned to face the mirror again, cursing. "Oh damn, I am so dead…"

Truth to be told, Lu Yizhou did not find anything different with Ellen's face. He still looked gorgeous the same except for his slightly swollen eyelids. However, it only made his foxy eyes a little softer and gave him the impression of a sleepy and indolent young master. But Ellen clearly begged to differ because he started to rummage through the cabinet while grumbling, "Don't think that I will let you go so easily. We will talk again later." He took out a bottle of cream Lu Yizhou did not recognize and smeared it all over his face, glaring. "Why are you staring at me? Go and open the door. It should be my manager, Sister Chen."

Lu Yizhou nodded and went out to open the door before the bell could burst through the ceiling. A slightly chubby, middle aged woman stood behind it, together with the young man who had led Lu Yizhou to this room yesterday, Xiao Qi.

"What takes you so long? Do you know what time it is now?! You—" Sister Chen was originally looking down at her phone, furiously typing at something while grumbling. Then the door opened and she lifted her head, the anger instantly replaced with jaw-dropping shock. Sister Chen could not react for a while as her round eyes were trained on Lu Yizhou's face before slowly trailing down to the obvious bite marks on his neck. She looked like she was one step away from fainting due to the shock. "You… You…"

The assistant Xiao Qi merely coughed and averted his gaze away, the tip of his ears were red.

Sister Chen jolted out of her trance and did a double take on the room number. It was still 305, the room she had booked for the most willful supermodel under her wings, so where did this high quality man pop out from?! Why… Why was he in Ellen's room so early in the morning?! And those dense teeth marks on his neck… 

Having worked with Ellen for a few years, Sister Chen could confidently say that she knew the man pretty well. Ellen had always cherished his time alone and he had a severe phobia toward others' touch. Even the make-up artists had to try their best not to challenge his bottom line otherwise he would hiss and bare his teeth like a cat whose tail was being stepped on. Never had she pegged him for someone who would take a boytoy for a night…

And judging from this man's specs, was he another model or actor?! Oh goodness, this was not good!

Unaware of the complicated thought in the manager's mind, Lu 'boytoy' Yizhou opened the door wider and welcomed them in as if he owned the place, making the corner of Sister Chen's eye twitch.

The two of them entered one after another. Sister Chen immediately marched to the living room and looked around sharply. "Where is Ellen? He can't still be sleeping right?"

Just in time, the bedroom door opened and Ellen strolled out with a green sheet mask on his face. He lifted one hand in greeting. "Good mor—"

Sister Chen shrieked like a chicken who had its feathers plucked. "Oh my God, what happened to your face?!" She rushed to Ellen and hovered around him anxiously. "I told you to come back and take an early rest yesterday because today's photoshoot is equally important as yesterday's so why didn't you listen to me?!" Sister Chen held her forehead and glared at Ellen and Lu Yizhou back and forth. "I know young people can't control their hormones properly, but can you still take your job into account? How will I explain it to Photographer Song?!"

Ellen jumped in shock like he was being electrified and tore the sheet mask off his face, sputtering. "W—What are you talking about?! He's my… my new personal bodyguard!"

"That's even worse!" Sister Chen let out a horrified gasp. "Ellen, I thought you're someone who can separate your private affairs and business properly!"

Ellen was so enraged that his face flushed red like a ripe tomato. He wanted to rebuke righteously that he was the textbook example of a hardworking model but when his eyes caught sight of the bruises on Lu Yizhou's neck that was especially conspicuous under the sunlight, all the words got stuck on his throat. Oh goodness, he had forgotten all about the hickeys! But why did he have to take the blame?! It… It was Lu Yizhou who had bullied him yesterday! And most importantly, why did Lu Yizhou only stand there and not help him rebuke anything as if he wanted to fan the flames higher?! 

Ellen glared at him, intending to transmit his brainwave and telling him to take responsibility for his roguish action. However, Lu Yizhou only looked at Sister Chen and Xiao Qi back and forth with an indecipherable look on his face, totally not noticing the SOS signal Ellen sent him.

The little leopard was angry! How dare this man ignore him?! Were Sister Chen and Xiao Qi more good-looking than him?!

Poor innocent Lu Yizhou was staring at Sister Chen and Xiao Qi purely because he suspected that both of them could be the bug. They fulfilled all the criteria; inconspicuous, wouldn't arouse suspicion and could get close to Ellen easily. He looked at Sister Chen who was less than one meter away from Ellen and could not rest assured. What if she were to poison Ellen like the guest yesterday? She had many chances to do so!

With a serious frown on his face, Lu Yizhou strode forward to forcibly tug Ellen five meters away from Sister Chen and Xiao Qi. 

Three pairs of eyes snapped to him in shock. Sister Chen's expression was particularly twisted when she stared at Lu Yizhou's arm that was intimately hooked around Ellen's waist. On the other hand, Xiao Qi's face was red, not daring to look anywhere except his own feet…

Ellen secretly pinched his waist, hissing in a quiet voice. All of his anger turned into embarrassment. "W–What are you doing?!"

Lu Yizhou raised a brow. "I am your new bodyguard, am I not?" 

Ellen: "..." He was just saying it in a spur of a moment! How could he expect this man to take his role so seriously?! 

Ellen showed an exasperated look. "Sister Chen is my manager and Xiao Qi is my assistant. There's no need for you to be so defensive against them!"

Lu Yizhou hummed but did not let go. Instead, he pushed Ellen into the bedroom. "Go and doll yourself up. Didn't you say that you have a photoshoot to do?"

In the end, the photoshoot that was supposed to start at 9 am ended up being postponed to 10 am. Ellen's bloated face had fully recovered by then and he returned to being an aloof little prince who despised human beings. Lu Yizhou adapted into his new role like a fish in the water. He tailed Ellen everywhere like a shadow; from the bedroom to the dressing room, the photoshoot scene, even to the bathroom, staring coldly at anyone who was in a five meters radius around Ellen.

Lu Yizhou counted inwardly. Including Sister Chen, Xiao Qi, the photoshoot crew, and the surrounding bodyguards, there were at least 50 people who could very well be the bug in disguise. Dr. Feng and Cyrus had said it — the bug would be hiding somewhere close to Ellen so Lu Yizhou only had to stick closer to him to catch the bug.

But the most important question was, who might it be?
