It was purely due to Lu Yizhou's request that Ellen allowed these two strangers into his room. If Sister Chen were to catch wind of this, no doubt she would get another heart attack. It seemed like Ellen could forgo all of his principles as long as it involved Lu Yizhou. How infuriating!1

He stared at the two people with utmost caution and grabbed Lu Yizhou's shirt tighter, ready to drag him away as soon as these people showed the slightest bit of provocation. "I don't know you," he said coldly. 

The man who introduced himself as Cyrus did not seem offended by Ellen's unwelcoming demeanor. As for the silent man beside him, Ellen found that he could not read anything from that deadpan face. These two people should be unfamiliar to him yet as soon as he saw them, strange emotions surged up in Ellen's chest. If he did not know himself better, he would think that it was… happiness. 

He, happy to see them? Ellen snorted for how ridiculous it was. 

He shoved the useless emotions deep inside his chest. Those feelings were unnecessary. No matter how Ellen's heart told him to trust these two men, his defensive personality would not allow him to lower his guard just like that. He had been through a lot and would not so easily trust in his own feelings. Feelings could be manipulated and Ellen would not let himself be fooled the second time.

…He trusted no one but Lu Yizhou in this world. And because Lu Yizhou seemed to trust them, Ellen would give him face and tolerate their presence.

"It's okay," Cyrus said good-naturedly. "I didn't expect you to remember. Actually we are not here to talk about old times." He turned to Lu Yizhou and directly got to the point. "I have the information you needed."

Lu Yizhou nodded and led them to sit on the couch. He and Ellen occupied one whereas Cyrus and Luan sat opposite them. All the time, Ellen stared at the two of them in vigilance as though fearing that they would pounce at Lu Yizhou at any moment. Lu Yizhou had no idea whether to laugh or cry. "Do you want to stay here and listen to us?" 

"Of course!" Ellen harrumphed coldly. "This is my room. Why should I go?"

"I'm sorry." Cyrus put on an apologetic smile on his face that would definitely work on anyone else beside Ellen. "We understand that you're uncomfortable so we will try to finish this as soon as possible."

Ellen would have rolled his eyes if he did not have a supermodel image to uphold. He was not stupid. The fact that Cyrus and Luan could knock on their door must be because Lu Yizhou had told them. They had to discuss some important business and there was no place safer than Ellen's room. He just wished that no paparazzi would take pictures otherwise there would definitely be scandal that he was involved in a foursome... On second thought, it was best to wrap this up as soon as possible. Ellen crossed his arms and said curtly, "Start."

Cyrus nodded and turned to Lu Yizhou, his expression turning serious. "Luan has followed them down to the bottom deck. There's an 80% possibility that they're heading to the engine room. But then, because the path is too narrow, it was not possible for Luan to continue without alerting them so he could only go back."

"It's okay, you have narrowed the possibility a lot," Lu Yizhou said. The cruise ship was so huge, who knew where they could have locked the werewolves in? Lu Yizhou tapped his fingers on his thigh and decided, "I will go and investigate tonight. Don't worry, I will definitely be able to escape if anything happens." He still had 'Invisibility Cloak' skill that could hide him for ten minutes. It was already more than enough.

Ellen looked like he wanted to protest but Lu Yizhou gave him the look that said that they would talk about it later. In the end, he had no choice but to back down with a grumpy look on his face.

Cyrus and Luan nodded easily. They had guessed that Lu Yizhou had some kind of stealth ability from the original system so they were not so worried. "Then we will leave this matter to you. Don't worry, either me or Luan will guard this room so you can rest assured." 

Lu Yizhou nodded in thanks. If there was someone who wished for Ellen's safety like him, then it would only be Cyrus and Luan. Both of them had almost risked their lives for Izher in the sixth world so Lu Yizhou could be rest assured in leaving Ellen to them.

Ellen looked at them back and forth, flabbergasted. "Why are you discussing this like I am not here? I don't need either of you to protect me. No, scratch that, I am coming with Lu Yizhou later."

"No," Lu Yizhou rejected the idea in an instant. "It will be dangerous."

"Exactly because it's dangerous that I have to come with you!" 

Lu Yizhou narrowed his eyes. For a while, both of them were locked in a staring contest of willpower and perseverance. Lu Yizhou acknowledged that Ellen was powerful; more powerful than him, perhaps. Ellen's strength notwithstanding, Lu Yizhou just could not bear to see him get hurt. Just having his fingers chafed was enough to make Lu Yizhou's heart ached. He could not imagine anything worse happening to Ellen or he would go crazy! Not to mention, there was not only one person in that body…

No, he definitely could not let Ellen go with him!

Unfortunately, Ellen was equally, if not more stubborn than him. Lu Yizhou knew that no outcome would come out of this meaningless quibble. He finally heaved out a sigh. "We will talk about this later."

"Yes," Ellen echoed seriously. "Later."

"On a more serious note," Cyrus interjected with a smile. "I have known that Lu Yizhou's role is werewolf. I am a werewolf too, and Luan is a seer. How about you, Mr. Ellen?"

Ah, that's right. Cyrus' question had reminded him, if Ellen had not suddenly confessed about being the creator of the instances, Lu Yizhou would have asked about his role because that was what he originally wanted to talk about. As it turned out, the facts that Ellen exposed was too shocking that Lu Yizhou soon put the matter to the back of his mind. Following that was the voting in the dining hall and then the explosion… 

Lu Yizhou had completely forgotten about this. He turned to see Ellen's face darkening as he fixed Cyrus with a silent stare. Lu Yizhou had never seen such a threatening look on Ellen's face before. In an instant, alarm rang in Lu Yizhou's mind. "Ellen…?"

Why didn't he answer?
