8.115 Keep It There*
Ellen stared at the man's gorgeous visage, his heart thundering like a drum. They were so close that he could feel Lu Yizhou's breath fanning across his cheek. It would be so easy to lean in and press their lips together… yes, if there were not hundreds of eyes scrutinizing them…2
Perhaps the water around him was too cold, or perhaps it was the breeze caressing his drenched skin, Ellen's fingertips trembled ever so slightly as he grasped Lu Yizhou's arms. Taking advantage of the blind spot, he discreetly swept his lips along the line of Lu Yizhou's sharp jaws, whispering into his ear, "We still don't know… who is the one who gets to keep who."
The implication behind his sentence was as clear as day. Between them, it was Ellen who got to steal Lu Yizhou away and keep him in his gold palace. Or in other words, he was the one in sugar daddy's position whereas Lu Yizhou would be his sugar baby…
The corner of Ellen's lips lifted. The more he thought about it, the more satisfied he was with the arrangement.
Lu Yizhou was taken aback by the little leopard's sudden counterattack. A deep chuckle rumbled from his throat but before he could say anything in response, Photographer Song had called out and asked them to switch the scene.
This time, the elf prince would drag the King into the water and dance around him.
Ellen pulled the scene off magnificently. The gravity underwater seemed to hold nothing against him as he fleeted back and forth around Lu Yizhou like a water nymph, their long hair entangled with each other in an intimate dance.
The elf prince was nimble and teasing, his fingers caressing the king's cheek, arm wounding around his neck and body leaning close against him… His gaze, his touch, every gesture he made, all of them were focused on pulling the King into his orbit, to tempt and rile him up, to make the King head over heels for him… How could one ever resist him? The King was utterly charmed and fascinated by the elf's beauty and he could not help but catch the teasing elf into his arms and bend him down…
With the clear water surrounding them, the scene seemed one straight out of a fairytale, so magical that it made people enchanted.
"Good! Very good! Perfect!!" Praises poured out of Photographer Song's mouth incessantly. He did not even have a single complaint. "Next!"
Lu Yizhou paused a split second before his lips could touch Ellen's. After that, he decisively withdrew and pulled Ellen out of the water. Behind him, Ellen was pouting, clearly dissatisfied.
Two hours passed without them realizing and the next scene would be the last.
The elf prince and human king's encounter might be beautiful and their love burned brighter than the star. However, just like the star, it would burn itself to oblivion. Their love was beautiful precisely because it could not last. Tragically, fate did not lend its luck to the pair of star-crossed lovers.
The King held the elf prince in his arms and return to the sea where he first saw him. Step by step, he walked deeper and deeper, the water sloshing around him. Almost in an instant, crimson oozed into the otherwise crystal clear surface, coming from the wounds on both of their bodies.
The elf prince's long hair swayed by the crook of his arm, his face pale and bloodless. Forever, he would remain beautiful just like this.
The King gently lowered his elf lover into the water, his movement was careful and loving, oozing with deep sadness and grief. And then, he bent down to press their foreheads together and closed his eyes to kiss his lover's forehead for the last time. Slowly, both of them submerged into water, fading away from sight like the last ember of stars before dying. From where they disappeared into, the bubbling surface dissipated and the undulating waves turned calm once again…
Around the set, there were sounds of sniffling.
Photographer Song sucked in a breath and opened his mouth to wrap the scene when all of a sudden, a shrill scream pierced through the sacred atmosphere.
"AAAAAH! HELP!!"
Everyone was jolted from their trance by that terrified scream and subconsciously searched for the source. The originally solemn and mythical atmosphere turned rowdy with restlessness.
"W–Who's screaming?"
"Don't tell me…"
"Someone's dead? Again?!"
Ominous foreboding filled Photographer Song's heart and he opened his mouth to call his beloved models out of the water. As it turned out, he turned only to find Lu Yizhou already bringing both of them out. In his arms, Ellen was wrapped in a fluffy towel until not even his face could be seen whereas Lu Yizhou strode away from the set without any hesitation…
Photographer Song: "..." Right, he forgot that man was a bodyguard. Of course, he would take his employer to safety first.
He threw the matter to the back of his mind, waved his hand and dismissed the scene. "We will continue later! Good job, everyone!"
Because everyone was running to check out the commotion, the route to the VVIP suite was smooth sailing and not even a single person was around. Lu Yizhou made a beeline to Ellen's room, straight to the bathroom and turned on the shower.
Hot water blasted out from the head, drenching them further. Almost at the same time, their lips found each other with the urgency as though they had lost the air to breathe, rough and fervent. Lu Yizhou's fingers found their way into Ellen's hair, cupping his jaw as he coaxed the man's lips to part wider.
A strangled moan escaped Ellen's throat.
Lu Yizhou withdrew with a quiet gasp and thumbed his lover's ravished lower lip. "Are you okay?" He asked worriedly.
"Hmm…" Ellen murmured, breathing unevenly. His golden eyes were half-lidded and misted by passion. "Just cold."
Lu Yizhou made a split second decision and told him. "Take off your clothes."
However, even though that was what he said, he still helped Ellen to peel off the complicated layers of his outfit and tossed them to the basket. Warm mist filled the air and blurred the transparent shower stall. No matter how spacious it was, two grown male standing together still felt a little cramped. Ellen did not want to press his back to the cold tiles and hence, opted to lean against Lu Yizhou instead and act like a salted fish as Lu Yizhou gradually stripped him bare…
Anyway, it was not like the man had not seen it before.
As hot water falling down on him, his fair skin was flushed in a soft pink hue. Lu Yizhou carded his fingers through Ellen's tangled hair and cupped the back of his head, fingers pressing against his pulse to count them. "Still cold?"
"Yes." Ellen's paws started to tug on his shirt. "You're cold. Take these off."
Lu Yizhou almost forgot that he was still donned in full costume of the King. He chuckled and deftly stripped the clothes off him. After that, he was ready to pull his wig off when Ellen suddenly grabbed his wrist. "Just…" he hummed and hawed, eyes looking anywhere but Lu Yizhou. "Just keep it there."
"Hmm…" Lu Yizhou narrowed his eyes meaningfully.
