Zhao Bolin glared at him hatefully even though all he could see was Lu Yizhou's stupidly gorgeous side profile. Being provoked like this, how could Zhao Bolin not retaliate? Hackles raised, he could feel his spirit surging up to fight against that infuriating smirk. Unexpectedly, his panic receded and he could slowly think again. 

Be patient, Zhao Bolin. You can do this, you only need to solve the problems one by one! For now, there was nothing more important than sending Li Zhu away! 

Professor Zhao inhaled deeply and tried to recompose himself. He raised his voice slightly for Li Zhu to hear. "I am in an important stage of the experiment now. Do you need something?" Good, that was a very good excuse. Zhao Bolin almost wanted to applaud himself.

"No, there's nothing…" came Li Zhu's tentative reply. "I just want to ask you something, Teach. Can I enter?"

"No…!" He blurted out without thinking, alarmed by the sudden question. Damn it! He had answered too fast! It would surely induce Li Zhu's suspicion! Act natural, Zhao Bolin! You have to act natural! Ignoring how Lu Yizhou's shoulders were trembling from laughter, he imbued the professional harshness of a teacher into his voice. "I don't like to be disturbed at a time like this, Student Li. I think you should already know it yourself?"

Li Zhu's tone grew weaker, apparently starting to be swayed. "But Teach…"

"No buts," Zhao Bolin cut him off sternly. The more he said, the more convincing he sounded. If he had not known it himself, he would have thought that he was really in the middle of doing an extremely crucial experiment! Emboldened, Professor Zhao was ready to send his student away. "You should—" His voice abruptly ended in a sharp gasp and he shot an incredulous look toward the zombie above him.

Lu Yizhou was undoing his buttons! Again!!

"Teach…?"

Zhao Bolin broke out in sweats. Fortunately, he had an infamous reputation of being short-tempered when it came to his experiment. As such, he gritted out, "I don't have time to talk with you! If you don't understand something, then just leave it for later!" 

As soon as he said his fill, he immediately bit down on his lips, fearing that another shameful voice would come out of it. Lu Yizhou must be doing it on purpose! When he undid the buttons, he would deliberately graze the tip of his nails on the sensitive spot on Zhao Bolin's skin — the intimate place whom nobody had ever touched before!

Luckily, to his relief, this time Li Zhu was truly persuaded. "Alright… I apologize for disturbing you, Teach. I will go back and study the data. Please call me if you need something." After that, there was a series of receding footsteps down the hallway.

Zhao Bolin held his breath and kept himself still until he could hear nothing anymore before he snapped his most fierce glare to the zombie above him, hissing, "Bastard, you're going to pay for this!" 

Lu Yizhou was clearly toying with his bottom line and the most infuriating thing was, Zhao Bolin could not bring himself to be upset with him! Even when he was bound and stripped of his shirt and dignity like this, he still found his blood pumping with exhilaration! He really had no idea what was wrong with him! Was he such a masochist?! As Professor Zhao was unable to come up with a reasonable explanation for his physical reaction, he got angrier with himself and could only vent it on the culprit. Only Gods knew how much willpower Zhao Bolin had expended so as to not surrender to Lu Yizhou's teasing touches!

However, the other party was more brazen than he'd thought. Pretending he heard nothing, Lu Yizhou proceeded to undo all of the buttons on Zhao Bolin's dress shirt until his upper body was fully exposed. Under the glaring light, the pale sweaty skin looked like it emitted a faint sheen of luster akin to pearl which had just been fished out from its hard clam. Zhao Bolin shivered, both from the cold air caressing his skin and the hungry gaze Lu Yizhou gave him. 

"Enough…!" He tried to move his wrists to no avail. How could this binding be so secure?! He could not even budge a bit! "Last chance, Lu Yizhou," he glowered, trying to put up a strong front despite his collapsing spirit. "I am giving you one last chance. If you let me go now, I will—ah!" Zhao Bolin's eyes widened and it was like the button to his Achilles Heel was pressed, almost disintegrating his hard armor in an instant. He teared up from the overwhelming wave of pleasure that burned him inside out. Gasping, he rebuked, "Where… Where are you touching?!"

"This…?" Lu Yizhou chuckled deeply. He had the tip of his finger against the rosy bud of Zhao Bolin's chest. "Aren't you the best in studying human's body? How come you have no idea about this part of yourself?"

That was not what he meant! Flush spread across Zhao Bolin's cheeks, more and more tears gathered on his reddening eyes. Without waiting for him to react, Lu Yizhou pinched his right nipple and rolled it between his fingers, eliciting a shaky, erotic whimper from Zhao Bolin's lips. "No…!" Unable to endure it, his back arched off the ground. Alas, the movement just sent his chest even deeper into Lu Yizhou's naughty paw. "Don't touch—!"

"Unfortunately, I will never trust your dishonest lips again, Zhao Bolin…" Lu Yizhou claimed, his gaze deepening with intent. "Your body doesn't seem like it wants me to stop so… I won't." He then bent down and mercilessly blew on the perk bud, making it harden like a pebble. 

Professor Zhao's mind almost exploded with fiery pleasure from that teasing gesture. He totally did not register the words Lu Yizhou said earlier. All of the hair on his body stood on its end. And despite the raging flame in his veins that burned him down to bits, he could sense the unusual chill in Lu Yizhou's exhale. Not only that, the body that was pressing down on him was also steadily cooling down, like a blazing fire thrown amidst a vast expanse of snowy field. That… That was…

The revelation sobered him up in an instant. He turned to glance at the timer and found that the ten minutes' mark had almost passed! The antidote to deactivate the virus in Lu Yizhou's body had almost expired! 

He had just opened his mouth to warn the zombie, yet before he could get even one word out, Lu Yizhou already dived in and closed his mouth around the rosy bud he had just been playing with!

Li Zhu could not shake off the feeling that something was off with his teacher's tone. 

He knew that the pressure on Zhao Bolin's shoulders was tremendous. There was no doubt that he would be focusing all of his attention on making the vaccine. However, Professor Zhao had never turned any student away when they wanted to ask him a question. Li Zhu tried to believe Zhao Bolin's words when he said that he was in the crucial step, but… 

"What's wrong?" Without him realizing, he had walked downstairs to Commander Yang's office. The warm light cast faint shadows on the other's face, highlighting his high bridge nose, thin lips as well as the attractive features that always radiated coldness. Li Zhu's heart skipped a beat at how handsome and domineering this man was. "Come in and close the door behind you."

Li Zhu pursed his lips and obediently closed the door, faint color rising on his cheeks at the thought of being alone with this powerful man who was exploding in male pheromones. They were not actually close acquintances. He only met Yang Tengfei when he was going around the military basecamp, trying to appeal to the government for permission to enter Zhao Bolin's research team. Commander Yang had intimidated him from the start when he ordered his subordinates to point their guns toward Zhao Bolin. But who could have guessed that he would be the first one to voice his firm approval to Li Zhu's request?

It could be said that Li Zhu owed him a great debt but at the same time… he also harbored another secret intention…

"Commander Yang…" he called out demurely.

"Hmm?" Yang Tengfei's eyes turned infinitesimally gentler, making Li Zhu's little heart pound even quicker. "I thought you were upstairs working with Professor Zhao? Do you need something?"

Li Zhu was suddenly reminded of Zhao Bolin's weirdness. His brows furrowed in contemplation. Toward this man whom he secretly had a crush on, he could not help but confide, "I am not allowed to enter Teacher Zhao's laboratory but… that literature major's student can." A bitter smile hung upon his lips. "Tell me, Commander Yang, have I done something wrong?"

"No," the man's answer was so firm that it surprised him. "It's not your fault." 

Yang Tengfei got up from his seat, rounded the table and stood in front of Li Zhu. Due to their great height difference, Li Zhu had to crane his neck to look at him. He startled at the displeased frown on Yang Tengfei's face. Li Zhu stammered out, "Is there something wrong…?"

Yang Tengfei contemplated his choices before letting out a sigh. "Actually, I don't really want to resort to this kind of method, but I fear that I have no choice." Under Li Zhu's confused eyes, Yang Tengfei proceeded to tell him about Zhao Bolin and Lu Yizhou's secret flings in a concise and polite manner. 

When he finished, Li Zhu's face was ghastly pale and he was in the state of disbelief. "No… Professor Zhao is not someone like that!" He refused to believe that his most admired teacher was actually someone so promiscuous and immoral. However, when he thought of the suspicious sounds he heard earlier…

"How can you be certain?" Yang Tengfei's lips curled in distaste. "It's not like you are the one who share his bed." 

"That's why, I have a secret task for you, Student Li Zhu." Yang Tengfei held his shoulders and stared straight into his eyes with a penetrating gaze, sending his blood pumping in overdrive. "This is for the sake of humanity. Can you take up this important task?"
