What should he say in this kind of situation? He actually felt that what Percy said made perfect sense! He belonged to no one but himself, it's up to him whom he wanted to talk to! Alas, his instinct told him that… if he dared to say something like this to Lu Yizhou's face, then the one who would be torn into pieces was not Percy… but him.

Pandora was rendered speechless by his own thoughts. How was it possible for this human to dominate and oppress him?! It was very illogical!

Once again, Pandora felt a dire need to gain an upper hand between them. This was not allowed to go on any longer! Who knows what might happen in the future if he allowed Lu Yizhou to have his way? As such, he ignored the glaring warning in his mind, lifted his chin and haughtily declared. "He's right. I am not yours. Who do you think you are to tell me what to do?"

Almost immediately, he sensed the temperature around them plunged to the freezing point. He had expected Lu Yizhou to get humiliated at being rebuked, to lose his cool and get angry — or better, to realize that he had no authority whatsoever over Pandora and Pandora would always be the superior of the two. Then after that, the man might change his unruly ways and treat Pandora with the respect and fear he deserved. He had imagined so many reactions but… never had he foreseen that he would see an intense flash of hurt in Lu Yizhou's eyes, as though what Pandora said had struck him right on the gut.

Pandora's eyes became as wide as saucers and his breath hitched on his throat. What was—

Lu Yizhou's silver eyes dimmed considerably and he abruptly let go of the youth's chin. Then without saying anything else, he turned away and briskly walked out of the room.

An unprecedented sense of doom overwhelmed Pandora's heart as he stared at Lu Yizhou's retreating back in full-blown panic. His hand reflexively shot out to grab onto Lu Yizhou, but in the end, before it could make contact, Pandora forced himself to stop. His brows furrowed deeply. Why… did he want to hold Lu Yizhou back? Wasn't it good that he had made his point clear? Wasn't this what he had always wanted?

But why did he feel like… he had made a grave mistake?

"P–Pandora…"

Pandora withdrew his gaze from Lu Yizhou and looked at Percy. Ah, he had almost forgotten that this person was still here.

Now that Lu Yizhou was finally out of the picture, Percy became more excited. He could not help but take a step forward to approach this person who could bring him out of his misery. "Can you really fulfill my wish? You—"

At first, Pandora was only interested in talking to Percy to test if his power really did not work on this man. Lu Yizhou should also realize what he was going to do and hence, he did not do anything to stop him. As it turned out, there was nothing special about him at all. Now that Pandora thought back on it, wasn't this person the source of all trouble? If he had not blurted out that nonsense, then Pandora would not be put in a difficult situation and Lu Yizhou… he would not leave just like that. The more he pondered on it, the more upset he was. 

He did not have any patience to deal with Percy anymore. "Who told you that I can grant a wish? Are you living in a fairytale? Wake up, this is reality."

Percy was flabbergasted. "But you… earlier…"

Pandora had reached the peak of his patience. He belatedly discovered that… without Lu Yizhou by his side, everything did not seem to pique his interest as much as before. With a bored look, he sauntered past Percy and intended to catch up with Lu Yizhou. 

Pandora kinda regretted it now. In this place, Lu Yizhou was the only one who could hear his 'voice', so why did he have to argue with him? What if he did not want to talk to Pandora anymore? What if… he did not want Pandora anymore?

"Wait!" Percy reached out to grab him, unwilling to let him leave just like this. "Please! I can—" He instantly froze when Pandora's gaze landed on him. His blood ran cold and he let go in a hurry. "I–I'm sorry…" In that moment, Percy actually sensed a great danger coming his way. This feeling scared him so much that he did not even dare to breathe, it was as if… something extremely horrible would happen if he continued to insist on holding the youth back! 

His knees buckled and he staggered backward to regain his balance. By the time he came to his senses, Pandora had already disappeared and nobody remained in the tailor room except himself. "Oh my God…" he muttered to himself. "He really is Pandora! I am sure of it!!"

Percy's emerald eyes blazed in determination. Now that he already had a clear outlook on his goal, he would definitely exert all his focus on achieving that. He would not give up until he could escape from this place and exact his revenge!

The prisoners did not have much free space to begin with. After storming out of the tailor's room, Lu Yizhou could only return to the cell to brood over himself.

He never expected that hearing such words coming out of Pandora's mouth would hurt so damn much…

He could not figure it out either. It was not like this was the first time such a thing had happened. He had accepted the fact that his lover would not have any memory about their past. It was no different this time, Pandora was practically a blank paper waiting to be filled. His defensive attitude was nothing more than a harmless kitten's claws, it stung lightly but would not draw any blood whatsoever. Just a little lick and it would already heal the next day.

But when he said that he did not belong to Lu Yizhou, and demanded who he thought he was… it was akin to tearing out old wounds and smearing crystal salt across it, forcing the barely healed wound to bleed all over again. The sharp pain had taken Lu Yizhou off guard and he did not know what he would do if he stayed there. So, he left to cool his head. It was maddening how easily he would lose control of himself when it came to his lover. Just one word and one look from him was enough to turn Lu Yizhou's words upside down. Fucking hell…

Snap out of it, Lu Yizhou! What are you getting angry at him for? And also, leaving him alone with the protagonist… what are you thinking?!

[666: H–Host, are you okay? You know him, he definitely doesn't mean what he said!]

Hearing that, Lu Yizhou could not help but let out a wry chuckle. Did he look so pathetic that even 666 came out to comfort him? 

"Leonard." The quiet voice brought Lu Yizhou out of his reverie and his eyes widened in surprise when he found Pandora in front of him. How could he get so close without Lu Yizhou noticing? Moreover… the cell door was still closed! It would issue a loud creak every time it was pushed open and thus, it was impossible for someone to come in soundlessly. Lu Yizhou was surprised. Could his lover walk through walls without any hindrance?

"Leonard, are you angry?" Pandora asked again when he saw that Lu Yizhou was unresponsive. He pursed his lips and reminded himself to be the magnanimous one. After all, he was way older than Lu Yizhou so it was only right for him to let Lu Yizhou win once in a while. That's right, he should not be petty with the young! 

Steeling himself, he reached out to tug on the hem of Lu Yizhou's sleeves, his lashes fluttering as he peered up at Lu Yizhou with his soft golden eyes. "I was wrong…" he stuttered with adorable flushed cheeks. "I should not have said something like that."

"Something like… what?" Lu Yizhou asked with a blank look on his face.

Pandora could not read his thoughts based on his expression alone, and he was not inclined to use his power either. After all, he should be repenting right now. What if Lu Yizhou were to get angrier if Pandora forced him to tell the truth? But… how could Pandora say such embarrassing words out loud?!

The crimson in his cheeks deepened. "You know… back in the tailor room…"

"Hmm-mm?"

Pandora took a deep breath and gritted out. "I said that… I don't belong to you…."

Lu Yizhou suddenly grabbed his wrist and tugged him forward. Unprepared, Pandora lost his balance and stumbled forward. His eyes flew open in shock when he suddenly found himself sitting snugly across Lu Yizhou's lap. W–What was happening?!

Lu Yizhou's silver eyes blazed in a flame brighter than before. Inside the dark and oppressive cell, it was like a ray of dazzling sunlight had landed on Pandora's body, making him feel warm and tingly all over. Lu Yizhou wrapped an arm around the youth's waist to prevent him from escaping. "Then… have you realized your mistake now? Say it. Who do you belong to, hmm?"

Pandora was once again rendered speechless. After all of that twists and turns, how did they come back to square one?!
