[666: Host, the two protagonists have encountered each other again. It looks like… *cough* their relationship has progressed just like in the original plot.]2

Lu Yizhou had a strong urge to roll his eyes when he heard that. He had expected it to come sooner or later. He did not know how Percy and Christian ended up meeting when the latter was clearly half-dead when he was sent into the infirmary, and it did not matter. The simulation always had a way to force the plot back to its track.

He lowered his gaze and caressed Pandora's sleeping face with a gentle look on his face. Lu Yizhou had no idea what was happening but… Pandora had been asleep ever since their intimate time together. Even after the warden came to bring them lunch, the youth did not rouse as if he was currently deep in the dreamland, unable to pull himself away. If not for 666 reassuring him again and again that nothing was wrong with Pandora's body, Lu Yizhou might have already forcibly woken him up. As for the method… well, he had many ways to wake his lover up, one was more effective than the other.

Underground, he had no way to judge how much time had passed by but fortunately, he had 666, this high-precision timekeeping system, which regularly informed him of the time down to the exact milliseconds. 

As of now, Pandora had been sleeping for almost six hours and he still showed no signs of awakening.

Lu Yizhou patiently sat by his bedside and waited. Outside the thick metal door, shadows of prisoners walking back and forth could be seen once in a while, yet Lu Yizhou did not take his eyes off his lover for even one second. Even if he spent eternity simply gazing at this person, it still did not feel enough.

It was not until Pandora's brows were knitted deeply and he started sweating bullets did Lu Yizhou finally move closer and tentatively cup his face. "Sweetheart…" he called out with a concerned frown. "What's wrong? Are you having a nightmare?"

Pandora indeed looked like he was currently trapped in a nightmare. His head kept tossing and turning and in a blink of an eye, a sheen of glistening sweat covered his entire body. His long hair had long become messy and strands of it were stuck to his damp face due to his restless movement. 

Just as Lu Yizhou was ready to wake him up, Pandora's eyes suddenly snapped open and he let out a breathless gasp!

"Hey, hey… it's okay," Lu Yizhou cupped his face, trying to transfer some warmth into the youth's cold skin. "It's just a dream. You're here with me now," he murmured again and again in a low, soothing voice until Pandora's dilated pupils gradually returned to normal. Even then, his round golden eyes were still slightly dazed as if he had not managed to scrape together a semblance of consciousness. That silly look of his was so adorable that Lu Yizhou's heart gave a tight squeeze.

The corner of Lu Yizhou's lips curled up into the barest of smiles as he planted a kiss on the youth's forehead. "What did you dream about?"

Pandora's chest was still heaving violently. He did not answer Lu Yizhou's question. Instead, he stared at Lu Yizhou for so long with a pair of unfocused eyes. It was as if… Pandora was seeing something through him. 

Concern wormed its way into Lu Yizhou's heart again. He was ready to ask 666 to perform another physical scan when Pandora's chapped lips parted into a shaky exhale. He was murmuring something, but because his voice was too low, Lu Yizhou had to bend down and put his ear beside Pandora's mouth to hear him better.

"...have to… I have to go back to Z-level…"

Lu Yizhou was stunned. Go back to Z-level? For what?

Pandora suddenly grabbed his arm, so tight that Lu Yizhou had the impression that his bones were creaking under the force of the youth's grip. His eyes were slightly manic as he said, "I remember something…! I remember that I had left something very, very important in Z-level, but…" he showed a pained look and scrunched his brows tight. "I can't recall what it is. I have to go back to Z-level to find it!"

Lu Yizhou's gaze sharpened. He immediately knew that this matter must have something to do with the original curse. As such, he did not object at all. "Okay," he nodded. "We will try to go back there tonight. How about it?"

Pandora was utterly caught off guard and for a while, he could only stare at Lu Yizhou with a stunned look. 

He did not expect that… Lu Yizhou would agree so easily! Coming back to Z-level was not a matter to be trifled with. After all, it held so many unknown mysteries and dangers that could very well threaten their lives. Not to mention that they still did not have the slightest idea what happened to Pandora's bone skeletons down there. But this person… he did not hesitate at all to comply with Pandora's unreasonable demand! After interacting closely with Lu Yizhou during this period of time, Pandora already learned that this person would not act the way he had expected him to, and hence, he was able to recover faster than usual. 

His golden eyes, which usually contained high caution and detachment, softened ever so slightly when he looked at the other. "...Thank you."

Lu Yizhou chuckled and pinched the youth's soft cheeks. "Then give me a kiss."

It was then that Pandora's mind decided to give him a full review of what had transpired before he fell asleep. Eyes widening, he abruptly sat up and pushed the man off him. His face was so hot that steam could blow out of his ears. "Y–Y–You…" with the lack of words to say, he could only curse out, "...Shameless!"

"Oh?" Lu Yizhou was not deterred at all by a certain someone's bashful reaction. He pressed forward and replied with a provocative tone, "Then please remind me… who was it that kept begging me for more?"

Had he known that something like this would happen, then Pandora would have chosen to sleep until night time! At least, he did not have to be subjected to Lu Yizhou's embarrassing questions. Goodness! He could not believe… how could he say such a humiliating thing when drunk in passion?! In order to cover how mortified he was, Pandora could only put on a fierce exterior and tried to hit the other again and again. "It's you! You bully! Meanie! Jerk!"

Of course, compared to the strength he used to beat Christian up into pulp, Pandora's punch right now could be considered as a kitten throwing a little tantrum. Lu Yizhou could not resist this adorable reaction and pounced over again to give Pandora a punishing, deep kiss.

At 9 PM, the lights in the prison would be out.

Being a few meters underground, not having a source of light was akin to cutting off their vision thoroughly. Lu Yizhou had experienced it before. The surroundings were so dark that he could not even see his hand. The CCTVs switched to night time monitoring and an eerie green dot could be seen moving back and forth in a precise manner.

Amidst this suffocating darkness, a heavenly and ethereal voice echoed in the air.

The prisoners had no idea what had affected them. Because they could not hear Pandora's voice, they only felt a strike of intense sleepiness as soon as the light's out. One after another, they fell into deep sleep and the sound of soft breathing and loud snoring could be heard. As for Lu Yizhou, he was hugging Pandora in his arms, listening to his lover's melancholic song in close distance. It was so soothing that he almost succumbed to drowsiness himself.

"Hey!" Pandora pinched him on the arm and whispered angrily. "Don't you dare fall asleep!"

"Hmm…" Lu Yizhou turned his head and made himself comfortable on Pandora's bosom. However, his lazy act only served to add to Pandora's wrath, earning him a few painful pinches on his waist that would surely turn into bruises tomorrow. Giving the angry kitten one last squeeze, Lu Yizhou reluctantly let go and stood up. His eyes had almost adjusted to the darkness around. He offered his hand to Pandora and smiled, "Let's go."

He was also curious of what Pandora had left behind in Z-level.

Hand in hand, Lu Yizhou took the lead and pushed the cell door open. It issued an eerie, lengthy creak that echoed amidst the dark. The atmosphere was one straight out of a horror movie. Alas, Lu Yizhou did not even bat an eyelid as he walked out and surveyed his surroundings.

Who could have guessed that as soon as they headed toward the elevator, there would be a very miserable shriek resounding in the air?

"A–AAH! HELP—!!!"

Lu Yizhou snapped his head up in surprise. The scream had come from the upper levels. For some reason, it sounded awfully familiar…

[666: H–Host, that… isn't that the protagonist Percy's voice?!]

Pandora's face abruptly changed as he, too, realized whose voice the scream belonged to. "How can it be?!" He cried out in disbelief and bewilderment. "My hypnotic power really doesn't work on him?!"
