"What was that?!" Pandora asked breathlessly as soon as the elevator door closed and they could no longer see Christian and Percy's figures.1

He reached out to cup Lu Yizhou's face and stared right into his piercing silver eyes. The crimson light which held a formidable manipulative power and overwhelming pressure could no longer be seen. The light in Pandora's eyes dimmed slightly. What a pity, he wanted to see it a little closer… 

Lu Yizhou, with gorgeous ruby eyes, easily playing Christian right into his palm like a manipulative devil was just so damn sexy— wait, no, he should not focus on that matter! Pandora glared at him and protested, "You never told me that you have the same power as mine!"

"I haven't?" Lu Yizhou carefully dug through his memory and realized that he had not divulged the existence of 666 to Pandora. It just never crossed his mind. He gave a careless shrug and hooked his arm around Pandora's waist in an intimate gesture, pulling the youth closer to him. "I don't think there's a need to tell you something unnecessary like this."

"Unnecessary?" Pandora sucked in a breath. He was so angry that his vision turned black for a split second. He grabbed Lu Yizhou's collar and hollered, "You bastard! How can you deem it unnecessary?!" 

He had no idea why he was so enraged either. For him, there was nothing about Lu Yizhou that was not important. He wanted to know everything about this person, no matter how trivial it might be. What his favorite food was, what he liked to do in his meantime, what kind of life he was living outside the prison… and this power. It was clearly so mighty and effective so how could he say it was unnecessary?! Pandora simply could not accept it!

Lu Yizhou was taken aback by his lover's sudden outburst. He did not expect that the little kitten would get this angry. In order to extinguish the fire, he could only admit his mistake honestly, "...Okay, it's my fault. I will definitely tell you next time." He rubbed Pandora's back in an attempt to smooth his bristling fur. His voice was immensely gentle. "I promise I will tell you everything, but now… we need to focus on retrieving your belongings at Z-level."

"Hmph!" Pandora shot him a vicious glare. He knew that this person was just trying to coax him. However, the sensation of Lu Yizhou's broad palm stroking his back was just too comfortable… 

Heat crawled across Pandora's cheeks. He suddenly recalled that this same palm had fondled his ass just a moment ago. Not only that, he had clearly sensed Lu Yizhou's fingers pressing in on the seam of his pants, trying to tear it apart so he could get to— oh God! What was he thinking at a time like this?! Lu Yizhou was right. They had to focus on the matter at hand!

"Let go!" Pandora squirmed away to avoid Lu Yizhou's naughty paws. He put on a defensive stance and scooted to the corner of the elevator. "Y–You… You should stop touching me!"

Lu Yizhou quirked the corner of his lips into a tiny provoking smirk. "Or else?"

Oh damn, how could he be so gorgeous when he did something like that?! It was totally unfair! Pandora screamed inside his mind. However, his expression was full of frost and caution. 

T–There was no 'or else'! He did not have anything he could threaten Lu Yizhou with! It's just that… this person's touches and kisses were too addictive. One taste and Pandora would be intoxicated beyond return. Just like what had happened earlier. He still disliked the feeling of losing control of himself so he subconsciously tried to avoid being pulled along with Lu Yizhou's rhythm. However, he had a strong hunch that soon, he would not be able to keep it up any longer…

Fortunately, before Pandora could come up with a retort which might potentially send him to his doom, the elevator issued a soft ding and the metal door slid open. Darkness so thick that it was almost tangible showed up in front of them. 

Lu Yizhou had been here once, so he was only mildly surprised to perceive that the darkness seemed to have gotten more intense than before. As for Pandora, this was his home turf after all. What did he need to be afraid of?

The two people kept their naughty thoughts to the back of their mind and stepped out one after another. As soon as the elevator door closed, what little source of light was instantly cut off as well, submerging them into pitch black darkness that would make anyone suffocate. 

It took Lu Yizhou a little longer to adjust to the lack of light and as soon as he could faintly make out the silhouette of the massive cage in front, he immediately turned to Pandora and asked, "Your important thing, is it inside the cell?"

Pandora had not taken his gaze off the cage. Amidst the dark, his eyes seemed to shine akin to two pools of luminescent molten gold. It made him look more like a predator beast than a human. "En," he replied in a quiet voice. "It's inside."

Lu Yizhou nodded. "Then let's go."

He grabbed his lover's hand and was surprised at how cold it was. He could not help but squeeze it tighter in order to transfer some warmth. However, before they could take even one step forward, the distinct rattle of mechanism came from behind them.

Someone was operating the elevator!

Lu Yizhou was shocked. He had clearly implanted a suggestion for Christian not to follow him, so how did he catch up to them? Was it because of Percy? Because Percy was unconscious and hence he was not affected by the 'Devil's Whisper'? Damn it! He had been too careless this time!

"Hurry up!" Lu Yizhou's expression grew somber as he tugged Pandora along. Together, they rushed forward as if they had wind beneath their feet. A storm of dust and small debris stirred up as a result. Because Lu Yizhou had broken the padlock yesterday, there was nothing hindering him from kicking the gate open.

The metal door slammed against the wall, creating a loud thud which seemed to shake the ground beneath their feet.

Lu Yizhou's right foot stepped into the cell first, yet instead of solid ground, what he felt was… nothing. There was nothing under his feet! Lu Yizhou's heart leapt to his throat as gravity reached out like the devil's vines to drag him down. He could not recover his balance and his body started to tilt downward!

"Watch out!" In that crucial moment, he only had time to push Pandora away from him as he himself sank to the bottom of the abyss.

"Lu Yizhou—!!" 

Pandora's horrified cry echoed distantly in his ears. An overwhelming sense of weightlessness wrapped around his body, crushing the air from his chest. Lu Yizhou desperately reached out trying to grab onto something to cushion his fall, but it was as if he was sinking into a boundless sea of darkness. His hands could reach nothing as he was falling, falling and falling…

—Then there was a loud thud right beside his ears and he gasped loudly for breath!

Lu Yizhou's eyes snapped open only for him to shut them again with a deep groan. After getting used to the intense darkness, the dazzling light overhead stabbed right into his pupils like needles. It was so painful that moisture formed on the corner of his eyes. His brows furrowed deeply as he propped himself up.

He still remembered the exact moment when he was falling. The cell ground seemed like a huge gaping mouth just waiting for him to jump into. Fortunately, he had already pushed Pandora away… 

Lu Yizhou had only let out a little sigh of relief when his breath abruptly got stuck in his throat. 

The sight in front of him caused his eyes to widen in surprise. He was currently inside a familiar massive cage. However, different from the rusty and brittle cage he knew, the cage he was in was brand new and looked extremely solid. The black metal bars glinted sharply as they reflected the light. Just in one glance, he could tell that it would not be easy to break it down. 

A familiar passage spanned in front of him, yet it was also extremely foreign because the floor was spotless, devoid of the thick dust which had accumulated for years.

The entire space was lit up by fluorescent lamps. There were a few large monitors outside his cage that were packed with rolling data, and the swivel chair in front of them showed that it should be a place where someone conducted an analysis. The corner of Lu Yizhou's lips twitched. This setting gave him a very strong impression that he was a subject to be observed and experimented on by others…

From his position, he could see the elevator on the end of the hallway. Except for him, there was nobody else in this place. It was so quiet that all he could hear was his own heartbeat.

Confusion filled Lu Yizhou's heart.

Where was this? How did he get here after entering the cage? The layout in this place was 80% similar to Z-level, but it was also different due to the design interior and the bizarre computers.

He tried to call 666 inside his mind. [666.]

[666: *cough cough* Host, a–are you okay?! Oh my Admin God, 666 thought we were going to die when you fell from that place! How scary!!]

[Where are we?] Lu Yizhou did not beat around the bush. [What happened just now?]

[666: Um, wait a moment, let 666 check it first. What?! This… oh my Admin God, how is this possible?! Okay, 666 will tell you. Don't be shocked, okay Host? You have to remain calm!]

[666: Let's see… according to 666's observation, we seem to have gone back to a century ago… when this place has not yet become Nightingale Prison…]
