The two protagonists and Pandora woke up one after another. Pandora was feeling very comfortable being cradled in Lu Yizhou's powerful arms. Even if he was not sleepy anymore, he did not want to move a muscle, so he just conveniently used Lu Yizhou as a body pillow, his golden eyes squinting in satisfaction like a cat who got the cream.

Beside them, Christian did a set of warm up exercises whereas Percy learned to swing the metal bar in his possession. He realized that he could only rely on himself from hereon, so he was trying desperately not to be left behind.

The night continued to deepen and the guards eventually let their guard down. After all, Nightingale Prison could be considered as the strictest prison with layers of stringent security. Let alone a person, even a fly could not get out once it flew into the building! There had not been a history where prisoners had tried to escape before. As such, the guards had dozed off in their station. Even the dogs were curling comfortably inside their little houses. 

Christian gripped the metal bars with each hand as he led the group to the door. With a nod toward Lu Yizhou, he rushed out and threw out the bars akin to brandishing spears. They hit the dogs head-on. The trained animals did not even have a chance to make a sound before they slumped back to the ground. Only the dull thud of metal bars hitting flesh as well as the resounding clink as they rolled down could be heard. 

Christian held his breath sharply, the muscles in his entire body grew taut in the preparation to fight. He waited one second… two seconds… three seconds… there were no signs that anyone noticed this little disturbance. Luckily, the entire area was still as tranquil as a still lake. Smirking, he started to move toward the sleeping guards like a predator prowling amidst the dark.

As soon as Lu Yizhou confirmed that Christian could hold the ground, he immediately carried Pandora into his arms and shot out toward the watchtower. Standing on the corner of the prison ground, the tower's height almost reached 60 feet tall with a solid wall made of bricks and stones. 

Lu Yizhou pushed his feet off the ground and at the same time, he activated his skill 'Levitation' which he had obtained from the white witch Irene. Together with Pandora, they flew up to the sky as if the gravity was nullified around them.

Pandora's eyes were wide in astonishment as he looked at the scenery in front of him. He had never gone out of the prison building before so everything was very marvelous to him. In this height, he could see the beautiful night sky spanning far into the distance, the gentle rustles of treetops as well as the brightly lit city a few kilometers away. His lips parted in awe. 

The naïve child, who had forgotten the torment he went through, finally saw the world for the first time in his most favorite person's arms.

They were only floating for a short two seconds before Lu Yizhou brought them landing on the top. His feet gently touched the ground and he slowly put Pandora down as well. 

The small building in front of them was brightly lit with two guards inside. One was dozing off in his seat, while the other was watching a show on his phone with his back toward them. The guard failed to notice that two intruders in prison uniforms were standing behind him less than a meter away.

Soundlessly, Lu Yizhou slipped into the building and chopped the back of their necks with controlled strength. Before the guards could raise their alarm, their vision had already turned dark, unconscious. Lu Yizhou put their bodies aside, rummaged through the cabinet to find a rope and tied them together. 

Behind him, Pandora was excitedly touching the cool-looking sniper rifles as he looked over at the surveillance screens which were showing the situation on the prison ground live. 

"Hmm?" He bent down to scrutinize the screen closer and saw Christian dealing with the guards one after another and confiscated their weapons. His movements were fluid and so at ease, and he did it soundlessly too. 

Not bad. Pandora was satisfied with this human's excellent performance and shifted his gaze away to another screen. However, when he saw what was happening there, his face abruptly changed and he let out a curse, "Fuck!"
