Hearing this, everyone could not help but get confused. They felt like Lu Yizhou was talking in riddles. He had accurately guessed the truth about the traitor's role in this ambush, and then he suddenly knew who the other party was and even where he was hiding? How?0

The traitor trembled in fright and a hint of struggle appeared in his eyes. He fumbled to grab his terminal, yet he could not bring himself to send the message even after a while. He reckoned that Lu Yizhou was only tricking him. That's right, Lu Yizhou must be using reverse psychology to force the other party to show up! Otherwise how could he manage to pinpoint the other party's location so fast? Impossible! 

Should he do what Lu Yizhou ordered him to do? But what if he was the one who suffered from the aftermath? The other party had exploding crystal balls in their possession! It was evident that they were not ordinary people at all!

Seeing the traitor's hesitant demeanor, Lu Yizhou saw through him in a glance. He merely raised a brow, limped toward the edge of the rooftop and aimed the cannon at the building adjacent to the institute. It was a private villa which consisted of four floors, standing very magnificent and luxurious amidst the vast expanse of snow.

There were lots of similar villas around the institute and everyone could not help but stare at Lu Yizhou in confusion. Exactly what was he trying to do here?

Lu Yizhou started to count out loud. "Five… four… three…" The cannon in his shoulder started to emit heat. It was so intense that even the researchers who were standing a few meters away could sense it. They were shocked out of their wits. This man was not joking at all! He was truly planning to blast the villa up!

"Two…"

Beep— Beep—

There was an incoming call notification from the traitor's terminal. He glanced at it and his expression distorted for a split second. "I–It's them…"

Everyone was taken aback when they heard this. What were the odds that the call would come at such a timing? It meant that the other party had been monitoring them and what Lu Yizhou did had given them immense pressure! 

Oh god, was it possible that Lu Yizhou had indeed guessed the location right?!

Lu Yizhou did not lower the cannon. "Answer it," he ordered.

This time, the traitor did not dare to tarry. He immediately accepted the call and in the next second, a hologram screen popped up in front of everyone. 

Surprised gasps and sharp inhalation echoed one after another. Everyone looked at the person on the screen, then the man Dr. Xiao was supporting back and forth. Goodness, they looked exactly the same!

Lu Yizhou had guessed the answer long ago and had already prepared himself as well. Alas, he was still surprised when he saw the former Crown Prince for the first time. That face was awfully identical to the one who was so dear to him, yet the expression on it could not be more unfamiliar. The other party was staring at Lu Yizhou with so much hatred and malice — which he had never seen on Zeke's face before. 

Lu Yizhou swiftly covered his surprise and faced the former Crown Prince calmly. "How may I address you?" He could not keep calling the other party 'Crown Prince' as the monarchy was no more. The name 'Zachary' also belonged to his lover. 

"Shut up," he snapped in a harsh and condescending tone. "You're just the heir to a destroyed planet. What right do you have to speak to me?"

Lu Yizhou was not angry as those words were nothing but fart to him. But it did not mean that a certain kitty was not provoked. With a burst of strength which came out of nowhere, Zeke escaped from Dr. Xiao's hold and staggered toward Lu Yizhou. 

Surprised, Lu Yizhou immediately dropped the cannon on his shoulder in lieu of taking Zeke into his arms. "Why are you running around?" he chided softly with a concerned furrow between his brows. "Your body is still very weak right now, you know?"

Zeke glared at him with reddened eyes. He was the one who had been injured this badly so what was he worrying about other people for?! However, due to the present circumstances, he decided to let Lu Yizhou off the hook for now and faced the person on the screen – the one who had the identical appearance as him. 

He hissed angrily, "If you have the guts, then come out and don't hide behind the screen, coward." He specially emphasized on the last word.

The former Crown Prince was startled by the vivid emotions he showed.

Zeke knew perfectly the reason why. From the moment they encountered each other for the first time, they had become the bane for each other's existence. There were a lot of reasons why the former Crown Prince hated him. As for him… he could not feel any emotions whatsoever and the way he treated this original of his was no different than how he treated stray dogs and cats in the Imperial Palace. 

If the Crown Prince did not provoke him, then he would not make the first move. But as long as the other schemed against him, then he would definitely return two folds. Zeke had a very high learning ability. He watched how people around him interacted with each other, then learned quickly from them. 

The same also applied for the Crown Prince. He saw how the Crown Prince hated him, loathed him and despised him with his entire fiber and he also did the same. Just like a clear mirror which reflected everything in front of it.

In fact, toward this person… he truly felt nothing at all.

—Until now. Until he saw blood trickling down Lu Yizhou's body to pool around his feet.

Zeke's eyes blazed in pure, intense anger. It was all this person's fault! If not for him, then Lu Yizhou wouldn't have been injured at all! 

The former Crown Prince sneered, "So you're still alive, 'brother'." The last word was spoken with such deep mockery that only the deaf would miss it.

The corner of Zeke's lips curled into a brilliant smile that hid all the rage underneath. His voice was still scratchy, yet there was an unspeakable hint of loftiness belonging to a noble to it. "Of course. After all, my health is far superior to yours. If you're still alive, how is it possible that I have died?"

His words seemed to have pierced straight into the former Crown Prince's sore spot. The smile vanished from his face and was replaced with bone-deep hostility and resentment. It was as if a cold snake was slithering around their bodies, making everyone who looked at him feel uncomfortable.

The former Crown Prince exploded in uncontrollable hatred and wrath. "You should have died a long time ago! From the start, you are not supposed to exist at all! You are nothing but a fake, so what gives you the right to snatch everything that belongs to me?! My position, my name, Imperial Father and Mother's attention, my prestige, even my healthy genes… you stole them all! And now what… after the monarchy fell apart, you have even run here to live happily with this lousy man?!"

The angrier the former Crown Prince was, the more dazzling Zeke's smile became. His tone was light when he retorted, even with a sense of wonder and delight. "Oh… that's such a strong jealousy I sense there." he suddenly reached out to pinch Lu Yizhou's chin and nipped on the sharp line of his jaws, deliberately showing off their intimacy. "Do enlighten me. Are you envious that I have hooked up with such an amazing man… brother?"
