Tears welled up in Ye Tianxin's eyes.

"You!" she exclaimed. "You scared the hell out of me!"

Ye Tianxin tried to calm down as she clutched at her chest. She was out of breath.

Li Qingcang looked down at Ye Tianxin condescendingly and said, "Tianxin, you trust people too easily."

"Brother Li, I know what you are worried about, but…but Mother Du Juan is not a bad person. That night when we first arrived at Capital City, if it wasn't for Mother Du Juan who took us in, we would be sleeping in the streets…"

"Tianxin, your coming to the Capital Film Academy was not only for an audition, right? I mean, you brought me here to get checked. Is it not?"

Ye Tianxin shook her head and spoke, "Yes, Grandmother. But if I don't make it to the Capital Film Academy, I still have another way out!"

Grandmother let out a sigh.

This was all the fruit of her own daughter's evil doing!
